The food is fresh and hot and it is the best Chinese I have had in quite some time. I recommend it to anyone. And they speak English! And for the smokers they offer smoking and nonsmoker booths pretty cool I think cause you don't see that these days
I realize 5 stars is kind of a lot BUT they are just great! Dayton, KY doesn't have a lot a restaurants & AA Wok is a gem! The family seems so nice and I have really enjoyed watching the young man who works the counter grow up! Other reviewers have mentioned his lacking customer service skills, but I blame adolescence combined with working with his mom & dad since he was about 10. The food is consistently delicious with super speedy delivery times. They are on my speed dial!
I am rating AA Wok 4 stars based on price and quantity of food. A medium order can easily feed two people. I like AA Wok when I want some fast and greasy american chinese food. Most dishes I have recieved have hardly any vegatbles, just a ton of chicken and rice, which is my preference. My fiance isn't a huge fan because she prefers more of the veggies, so it is kind of what you prefer and what mood you are in. The food itself isn't I ordered online and paid in store with no problems. When calling in an order their customer service is slim to none but it has always worked.

The Reef has been on our list for a while now, anything with waterside dining is on the list this summer! After seeing their burger pop up quite a few times on the Burger Week feed I thought it would be a great time to go. We pulled up Friday evening around 7 and there was one table left for us to squeeze in to. All of the burgers sounded great on the menu, but why not go with the one on special for $5?? We also both ordered a side salad. This burger is massive. And delicious. The meat itself was really tasty and I loved that you could tell this didn't come out of a freezer pack. Even though we ordered a side salad we still got the chips on the side (A for effort to be healthier?) The saratoga chips were so good!! The salad was probably the most interesting part in that it is served in a plastic to go container, but hey, all the better for dumping on your dressing and shaking to cover! We will definitely be back to try the other burgers and maybe catch some live music that was setting up as we were leaving!
This restaurant has gone so bad. Little or no wait staff, small menu, cash only. We waited 20 minutes for a waiter to take our drink order
I tried; I really did to get behind the new owners of this place. When I heard that they also owned Mint Martini, I was super excited that the place would receive the necessary attention to make it swim not sink. Instead, what we got was a multitude of Christmas lights, blaringly loud music, and craziness in the harbour. For example, music so loud while trying to pull multiple boats out of the water, drunken people screaming at each other and no one could hear a thing. A few separate occasions I witnessed near miss accidents. I suppose the new owners are more worried about holding bikini contests then the safety of those who actually boat there and pay their bills.

A wonderful way to spend a summer day is sitting on the porch feeding the ducks. Food is decent bar food but the true shining star is location location location.
For what it is this place is, it's okay. It's a riverside dock and dive. If you're out boating on the river, you can stop to refuel your boat or dock it for a break. Head to the restaurant to use the restrooms, hang out at the bar, or get a bite to eat. No five star dining here, but they do have fairly decent food, including a veggie burger. Since it is a dive, don't expect it to be too clean (hopefully the kitchen is) and, since it's in Kentucky, they allow smoking. Yuck! Would I go out of my way to go here? No. Would I go here again if I were out on the river? Yes.
Riverside is exactly what the pits is. Everything from the service, cleanliness and employee morale is lackluster. If you're not a local or regular the wait time to get served by the bartender is still unknown. I still cannot even pinpoint an ETA for service. I honestly wouldn't waste time here. Head on down to Manhattan Harbor.
