It took me some time for me to get hooked on Mario's pizza, but after a couple of times it grows on you. An OK place to go.

Imagine my culture shock when I left for college, from California, and realized that places like Mario's could, and would, fry anything: mushrooms, onions, banana peppers, cauliflower...then serve it with a bacon cheeseburger pizza and chocolate shake. Incredible! Their food was sopping with grease; Left over wrappers were used to de-squeak dormitory doors, and slick the bottoms of giant cookie trays used for wintertime sledding. My old favorite was their stromboli steak sub (that hardly resembles authentic Italian stromboli, and when cooled, could be thrown like a football). I just realized I need to stop. I could go on forever about their distasteful food. I'm also beginning to feel the shame of ordering all those convenient late night deliveries. If I've one regret from my dodgy restaurant past, it is Mario's. I did my pallet and coronary arteries a huge disservice.

It's a lovely restaurant. Good pizzas and fair prices. Also other foods such as hamburgers and chicken sandwiches are available. The owner of the restaurant is planning to redo the breakfast and dining room so you have to expect an upgraded Marios Pizza in awhile. My friend eats at this restaurant every once in a while and he likes it. He said the foods are a little bit greasy though.

The only good reason to go to Mario's is if it's very late at night and nowhere else is open. Even then, be careful what you order. I've heard horror stories, and while I can't attest to them myself, what is obvious is how filthy the place is. I gave them the extra star because I haven't actually gotten sick there, but neither will I be back.

Mario's has always been my go-to delivery place in town. As a college student lacking a vehicle, ordering delivery is a given. Mario's has a simple online ordering system that makes places like Pizza Hut or Domino's look like newbies. I have not had anything bad from this place. The wings are fantastic; the salads are cleverly made and always taste fresh, the pizza's always filling and delicious, and the cheese fries are always plentiful. The service is on point as well, since many of the dorms don't have specific addresses, they are very familiar with campus, unlike some of the other places in town who struggle to find the dorms and often go past the allotted time for delivery. The only issues that I might have with the place is the policy that the order must be over $8 for delivery (not including taxes or delivery fees) as the majority of the food is under $8 dollars and the portions are huge, so you often have to consider something small on the side just to get delivery, which can be expensive as a broke college student. However, like I said earlier, the service is fantastic and the food is something that I have enjoyed ever since I discovered them. Oh yeah! I forgot about how awesome their hours are! They are generally open late, which is very accommodating for students like me, who often miss the dinner service times due to practices and homework. The late night hours are great for people like me. I love Mario's!

I ordered Delivery from them. they are sooo goood! They take about 30 to 40 minutes for ribs, but its well worth it. They are so good. The ribs are a little expensive but still yummy. They have really good cheesecake. I did eat some of their French fries and try we're pretty greasy. Other than that all my experiences have been pretty good. I like their loaded potatoes as well. Oh and something that makes them more unique is their late hours. It makes a late snack easier to get, since many of the businesses in berea close somewhat early.

More of a suggestion than a review... but I LOVE their deep fried banana peppers and the deep fried mushrooms are great too!

Mario's is the typical local pizza place in town. It is good for hanging out with friends and having a good time or just going to watch the big game with your family. I usually order a Medium pizza with friend to be delivered to our dorm. As a college student the best part of Mario's pizza is their prices and delivery. It is very affordable and opens until really late so it's perfect for times when you're procrastinating for a big paper. They are also really involved with the community so you might see them in many events.

I love Mario's late hours and their fast delivery. They also allow you to order online, which is fantastic. They have a gigantic menu. You kind of have to figure out what items you like, because some of the food I found sort greasy or bland. Overall though, I'm so glad we have a restaurant like this in Berea.

Had. Great lunch. It's the little things that count. Our server changed the tv to the Disney channel, just because she saw all of our kids. We didn't even have to ask. Very cool. Pizza/pasta buffet was a good value. They have great ranch dressing, and awesome sweet tea!

First off, the grizzly pizzas are bomb, and that's about it. The "salads" are really just a plate of gross lettuce covered in an entire bag of cheese. Maybe a piece of tomato if you're lucky. Crutons are disgusting. The facility is disgusting and FAR from clean. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo last time I was there. The noodles were over cooked and some were hard as a rock. Explain that one... I guess cooking enough noodles for the day and storing them in the walk-in cooler is as good as it gets there. When I bit into the "chicken", it bounced back. it was like a piece of eraser in my pasta. When I complained and requested it be taken off my ticket, the owner himself came to my table and proceeded to INSULT me. I'm not sure how things work here in backwoods KY, but you don't harass or insult your patrons (those are the people that give you their money and pay your bills, fyi). He proceeded to tell me he's been serving "real chicken" for over 30 years. Yeah, well bologna is "real meat" too. My point is, when a dish is disgusting, you listen to the compliant and you fix it. Period. I will never step foot in that place again. People of Berea: I feel very sorry for you if Mario's is the best place you've ever eaten. It's flat out sad.

Im actually a big fan of Mario's, they have treated me very well on late nights since the resturant doesnt close till 1:00 a.m. which is perfect for a hungry college student. They sell juicy burgers, pizzas, other sandwiches, and a lot of other tasty treats. I will say this is not the place to go if youre watching your weight or health....but for those who rerally want some good food and don't care about their health come on down to mario's. P.S. The owner really likes Berea college students and he credits them for keeping his business doing well financially, so the owner always has deals for the students of the college.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
