The skirt burger is my go to. I'm a french fries girl, usually eat all the fries first and forget about the burger. Not here. Here I eat the burger first and share my fries. Staff is always nice and the place is always clean.

In a burger-eating city like Wichita, Old Town could very well be considered the buger-eatingest part of it, if only due to how many restaurants are within walking distance. All of these are sit-down places, though, which makes Yo-B's fast casual approach a pretty good idea for Old Town Square. The burger is nothing special - seasoned, but dry, with the typical accoutrements (though it offers a burger that's topped with a fried egg just in case you haven't had the opportunity to over-indulge over the past five years), but at under $4 for the basic patty, it doesn't aspire to be much more than a bargain. An even better idea than saturating the burger landscape of Old Town Square is the self-service froyo. Even if the concept is about as old as the idea of topping a burger with an egg, the quick and affordable indulgence is perfect for eating outside after a movie on a summer day. Wichita's independent self-service frozen yogurt shops were not able to survive the froyo boom of 2010 under the stiff competition from Pinkberry and Orange Leaf, but the smaller shops allow themselves to experiment a little more with the flavor selection. Sometimes they even expand beyond yogurt, though the ""gelato"" and ""frozen custard"" provided by those same soft serve machines were almost indistinguishable from one another, to the point where I had to use double quotation marks to describe each product earlier in this sentence. You're not going to find any custard to compete with Freddy's (or even Rita's), and I wouldn't waste my time eating Yo-B's gelato when Caffe Moderne is right across the square providing a much superior product, but as soft and creamy milk-based dessert that you can cover with a mountain of chopped Reese's, it's fills its niche. Yo B is the brainchild of Nabil Bacha, a member of Wichita old guard that has maintained a longstanding presence with the Downtown restaurant anomaly Cafe Bel Ami, along with other less successful concepts like Go Steaks! He's a restauranteur, not a chef, and I suspect he's more interested in creating a profitable business than saying anything new or challenging about the food he produces. At an antiquated sit-down restaurant this might not be such a good thing, but at 11:30 PM on a Saturday night in Old Town Square, expectations are kept low enough to be satisfying.

This is a fantastic new burger and frozen yogurt/custard joint in a great location. Burgers are simple but delicious with very quality ingredients. Nice variety of yogurt flavors and tons of topping options. And prices are incredibly reasonable! Our family of three got three burgers, an order of fries, and three yogurts for around $20. Service was friendly and quick too. You can tell that the owner and employees take pride in their business. Highly recommended!

Yo-B is a good concept that could be great. I love the idea of marrying self-serve yogurt / custards with burgers. The store is clean and fresh feeling and the service was good, but understaffed on our visit. We ordered burgers and fries then went back for our dessert. Price are very reasonable and the location is great in the Wichita Old Town market area. The burgers: while good, decent sized and generous condiments piled on top needed just a little more. Buns are toasted and buttered. The beef had a stadium burger quality and texture about them. Could stand to be a little bigger to fill up the buns. Fries were very good; thick cut and crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. Over all not a bad burger and would eat again. The yogurt, gelato and custard were a little below par. I had the vanilla and chocolate custard along with the pistachio yogurt self-served into the standard tubs you see at most shops. For custards they were bland and had more of a soft serve texture than good custards you might get at Ted Drews in St Lou or Freddy's in Wichita. The pistachio while I thought was ok my wife thought it tasted like something you would clean with. I would say the flavor had a fake aspect to it. She had tiramisu and salted Carmel "gelato" and mango yogurt. I would not call them gelato as they did not have the texture or creaminess you would expect. Flavors again were ok but not great. The mango was ok and what you would expect from a frozen yogurt. Overall I would go back, but they need some tweeks to make it a regular stop.

Salmon burger was very good, fries taste baked instead of fried and the gelato is a sweet treat, save your movie stubs and you will get an extra bonus!

Great location right in the heart of old town. They just opened a few weeks ago but the burgers were very good (and inexpensive) their special sauce was tangy and I enjoyed it but it won't be everyone's cup of tea. I also had the salted caramel yogurt and enjoyed it. Others in the group had the birthday cake yogurt and liked it too. However some people in the group tried other flavors and did not like them. So make sure to try the flavor before you commit. So to recap good burgers with (specific) good yogurt as well. I will return.

I only had the frozen yogurt. Tried three flavors. The vanilla and chocolate custard tasted like frozen pudding. Not impressed.

Great frozen yogurt. Plenty to mix in. Awesome burgers and fries! Best part is it's very affordable to eat here often.
