As I wait for my food, I sit and watch an impressionable young man and his lady friend attempt to order. Not aware of the hundreds of miles and thousands of years of difference between China and Thailand, they first attempt to order orange chicken, despite the girl complaining about the dish being too sweet. He is told Thai Cafe does not offer that. He then struggles for a few seconds to recall General Tso's chicken, which is also not offered at this restaurant. Finally, the couple remember that what they really wanted was an order of sweet and sour chicken, which, surprisingly, is available at Thai Cafe. The kid then has to go home to retrieve his wallet, which he forgot to bring with him. Meanwhile, my order is completed. The pad see eew has some nice deep soy sauce notes, but the large flat noodles it came with were a little rubbery. The addition of jalapenos was a little tacky. Meanwhile, the pad prig king was little more than green beans with chili paste, but the freshness of the beans made it fun to pick at. They asked me what protein I wanted with both of my dishes, and I chose tofu. It seemed like the tofu was deep fried or something, because it was extremely overcooked and chewy. Perhaps as a means to replicate the other proteins, but it was unpleasant. When asked about my desired spice level, I requested "hot, but not burn my face off hot," which was taken to mean completely mild. I don't know if the guy and his girlfriend ever came back, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.

Ehhh. I thought this place was gonna be special. Frozen crab rangoon and egg rolls...fatty beef. No wonder the price of the food was so cheap. You can get better Asian food from Dillon's hot kitchen.

I love this place so much I had to start a yelp for them.Everything tastes authentic, fast, cheap, isn't greasy, and large portions!! I go here about once a week and usually always get a noodle dish or the Thai Basil Beef with Broccoli. Pad See Ewe, Singapore noodles, basil fried rice, and their pad Thai are all great. Give it a shot! Service is also very friendly.

I only had the pad thai here and it was good . I'm definitely gonna come back and try their Singapore noodles and fried rice . Convenient location on the east side and good price .

Worst Thai I have ever eaten. Food comes on porcelain plates, yet you eat with plastic utensils. I had ginger beef...I cannot describe how gross it was. My husband is Thai...we both give this place 2 big thumbs down!
