A good place to hangout and play some pool, throw some darts, or play golden tee, usually there are drink specials during the week. Slow service, usually understaffed after food has stopped being served.

This place is going down hill. I use to like it but the last few times have been horrible. Main reason: I came to watch the ku-uk game. Instead of accommodating the majority of the people that wanted to watch the game, they had some band playing that two people were watching. The band made it impossible to hear/enjoy the game. I would think if 95% of the people came to watch a basketball game, the management would not force them to sit on the other side of the bar just so a band can play to no one listening. I guess don't come to watch sports if they have anything else going on.

Waitress kept giving us well liquor and charged us for premium after telling her many times what we wanted. They got our liquor order wrong and our food order wrong. I have given this place a few chances but each time gets worse. Bad service. Will not go back.

I go there at least once a week. It's a great place during the week to hangout and play pool but on the weekends or during special events like big games or fights on TV it's hard to get waited on

This place is my stompin' ground! Heart the staff (especially Barb, Matt and Steve), heart the tables (bar boxes AND full sized), heart the drinks and dig all the screens in there. The volume on the jukebox could be turned up a little but it's not so low that you've gotta shut your date up to hear "More Than a Feeling". It can get pretty damn packed but who could blame em....50 cent pool and extremely reasonably priced alcohol. They're not your typical bar dive prices but you definitely get your money's worth. Haven't gotten my paws on the darts yet but they look like they're in good condition. Haven't seen any bar brawls go down so drama is minimal. They also just built an outside patio area for you smokers. Cough. This place is for both the casual and serious pool player. I'll probably see ya there!

Side Pockets is a great place to play pool or watch the big game. They've got a lot of high tables around the place that frame the big reason you'll go to SP: the pool tables. I'm not a shark myself, but I'm told by people who are that the tables are maintained very well for how much use they get. I'm more of a dart player, and they just installed two brand new electronic dart boards. They do use plastic tipped darts, but they play very well and I enjoy them a lot. The food is solid - it comes hot and is fairly priced and if you're there the right night, you can get some pretty good deals too! TLDR; Good atmosphere, TV's for the game, lounge seating available (and boy is it comfy), and lots of pool tables. Solid food and good service.
