I am not vietnamese. Not even a little. I have no idea what makes up authentic food from the region. But these folks make a great bowl of soup. When I arrived this afternoon for lunch, I was not impressed by the decor. It seems that the owners have converted an old pool hall, or something similar, into a soup and sandwich joint, with minimal redecorating. However, with place was clean, and we were seated promptly. Two very nice young gentlemen seem to do most of the serving. They were very courteous and took very good care of us. I had the beef stew pho (#13) at the waiter's recommendation, with a loaf of french bread. The food arrived shortly, and I added fresh lime, Thai basil, and bean sprouts to my bowl for added flavor. I could not be more impressed with the taste of the soup. it was rich and delicious. I have had pho at several other places, but this bested the others easily. I especially enjoyed dipping the bread in the broth. Service is friendly, prices are very modest, food is great. I will definitely return here anytime I am in the mood for a hearty, hot, delicious bowl of soup. Just remember to bring cash. Cash is king here.

My son and I ate there on a Friday afternoon. We ordered Bo Kho, Pho, a side of Bahn Mi Bo with a limeade and a coke all for under 20 bucks. This was my son's first Vietnamese experience and he really enjoyed it as well did I. Recommend, and will visit again when in the area. Thanks to Foodnetwork for the tip!!

Hands down best pho in town. Their food is fantastic, and cheap! I love the sandwiches but I always find myself ordering the pho each time I go in. I can't get enough! I've had pho at several other restaurants in town, always searching for a restaurant that could make it as good or better, and have yet to find one. They are cash only so make sure you stop at an ATM first. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The parking lot behind the restaurant is small and can be very difficult to get out of so I recommend parking in the street. $6-$7 for a huge bowl of pho and a side of bread makes it a cheap and amazing lunch/dinner. The drip coffee is pretty amazing too.

INCREDIBLE. Pho & sandwich & lemonade, for under $10. Tastes like a dream.

Haven't been to My Tho in quite some time now that I live in Kansas City and visit Wichita once in awhile but this is one place that is also ranked in my top 5 list of great Vietnamese restaurants. The staff is always friendly and the food is very indulging more the reasons why people would want to come back to this place anytime. Their pho is amazing and the broth always has a great flavor to it in which I could eat at that place any day if I still lived back home.

Awesome pho! Awesome service! Awesome price! very affordable, delicious food. My only disappointment - I ordered a regular size bowl, it was huge and I could not finish in one sitting and there was no way to take it home :( what a waste of excellent food.

This place is Pho King awesome. If you are tired of down town Wichita wannabe hipster restaurants, who serve mediocre food at inflated prices, take a stroll over to My Tho. I wake up every morning thinking about their Pho broth, aka the elixir of the gods.

  • Greta G.

The photos taken by others does the food justice. Everything is fresh and so flavorful. And the flavor gets more intense the lower the broth gets in the bowl. I've eaten pho in Hanoi, Saigon, and Vinh, and this is the real deal. It's easy to find with plenty of parking.

First time. Were greeted immediately. Staff was super nice and courteous. Got our food quickly and it was as good as advertised. If we are back in Wichita, will definitely hit it again.

Brought two men that I'm training with here last night, one for his first Vietnamese food experience. Came because of the Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Great and very friendly service. Great food and plenty of it. Both men enjoyed it very much as did I. One note...cash only... Stop by if you are in the area you be glad you did.

Great place to eat Pho and Bo Kho. Really close to downtown and Hyatt Regency Wichita.

  • Mark G.

Awesome Pho! Nice find on our trip to Texas, really good quality stuff here. They have a good sized menu for pho fans that love their options. This place lives up to the rating, will have to stop by again when I am in town.

Who knew this little hole in the wall in Wichita, KS would have delicious Vietnamese food that could rival the bay? The flavor of the beef stew with egg noodles was really nice. If I were a guy, I'd see how the portions seem a bit small. I thought it was just about right for me.

The best Pho in Wichita. I've been to a few places and the flavoring, portions, and value are spot on. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they do not accept debit/credit cards. They are a Cash only restaurant. From the outside the place doesn't look like much, which also reflects the same inside. It's just a plain white walls, a few decorations and 2 TV's. For a large bowl, you're only paying about $6. Anywhere else you're paying about a dollar or two more. I just had the plain beef Pho. The beef broth is pretty tasty and they always supply you with bean sprouts, cilantro, lime wedges, and Sriracha sauce. Wait time is about 10 minutes, as it's pretty easy to have the broth over a fire and pouring it in a bowl of rice noodles. Their French bread is pretty legit with butter on them. Just enough crunch, but chewy. They give you a good amount of noodles and some places barely give you enough. If you're hunting for good Pho, My Tho has it.

Limited menu but the quality is great. Cash only so come prepared. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Not the cleanest environment.

Everyone was raving about this place. I remembered eating here back in the college days---and remembered them being popular for their banh mi. Ordered a bowl of pho, banh mi bo kho, cafe sua da, and banh mi. Portions are TINY!! Disappointing. Banh mi was okay---only thing was the butter. Ingredients was okay, but not plentiful. I just remembered looking at my small bowl of banh mi bo kho and thought, "kid's meal?" Although service was friendly, portions are not to my liking. Food was good, but I was still hungry afterwards. Banh mi is good, but may have been overrated. CASH ONLY? I hate that.

I was born and raised in Wichita, and the consistency of the dishes keeps me coming back! Very sad that we don't get to have dishes from here as often anymore after moving! But every time we visit Wichita, we always make an attempt to eat here! The brothers are always so sweet and nice! One of the best servers I've ever had! best mom & pop restaurant there is! Highly recommend & will be returning! BTW: CASH ONLY!

    (5)
  • Rachel O.

Cash only, but so good! Their broth has just a hint of sweetness and it's amazing. The place is very clean, friendly and fast. This is our new go-to place for pho in Wichita!

  • Amanda L.

Love this place!! Everything is good. I get the broth when anyone in the family is sick.

  • Andi T.

When I got there I was thinking to myself this is a weird place to have a restaurant but as I stepped in boy I thought wrong it looks lovely inside; don't judge a book by is cover my dad says, I love the pho! Great service. I recommend everyone to try this place!

    (5)
  • Kermit D.

In my opinion the best pho and bahn mi in Wichita!! The fixings are fresh and the baguette makes the sandwich fabulous. The staff is friendly, polite and prompt. The dining room has been expanded and there are tables for larger groups. Bring cash ,,, they don't take cards. I love eating here!!!!

I have never cared too much for pho until I ate at My Tho with my family - who used to insist on eating pho all over town, but whatever, they paid for it. Now we pretty much eat exclusively at My Tho unless it's that time of year where they close forever because they're on vacation (like a month? I dunno). Their broth is yum-yum-yummy and you can get it served with a buttered bread loaf which really appeals to the fat girl in me. Really, that's all you really need to accomplish good pho and My Tho does it. Like I said, I'm not really into pho unless it's from this place. Their beef stew is also extremely tasty. Tip your servers well! Fat girl in me wants: large pho obviously, probably combination, Vietnamese coffee, buttered bread if not a whole sandwich Skinny girl in me wants: to be ignored, pho, probably combination, buttered bread, and running an extra three or four miles

My friend took me here twice already whenever I come into town. It's so good! My friend always order for me. We both get the hu tieu and banh mi sandwiches. Dipping the sandwich in the broth taste so good! I really recommend this place. I used to go to Kim Huong but they closed down. My brother said My Tho is the place to eat at when you want viet food. The food is good here but the building is not as nice looking. The people that work here is very nice and they speak English very well. They only accept cash. They have a small parking lot in the back but my friend and I usually just park in the street. I understand Vietnamese so I enjoyed watching the Viet programs on their flat screens.

A friend took me here and I wasn't disappointed! The sandwiches are AMAZING and the Pho is great! I would make an effort to check this place out! Don't forget....CASH ONLY

Limited choice. No vegetarian fares. Essentially only soups. Tasty, but still....

  • Owen S.

I'm no expert on Vietnamese food, but this is really delicious! Cash-only, no atmosphere to speak of (it's a pool hall); but it's clean and the service is fast and friendly. Bonus: very fresh & crusty french bread, and the "egg soda" was a yummy treat. We plan to return soon and often!

  • Dustin S.

This place got me hooked on Pho, and it's the best in Wichita. They'd get five stars from me if it weren't for their cash-only payment policy. Check them out anyway, you won't be disappointed!

  • Justin A.

Tried the pho, vietnamese coffee and banh mi. For me, pho is all about the broth. And the broth here was good, but sweeter than I would have preferred. Although the pho was a bit sweet for my liking, I still liked it. And everything else was very good, especially the banh mi. The server was very nice and took great care of us. I do wish they had vermicelli, but there is also something nice about having a small menu and sticking to what you're good at. I would definitely recommend My Tho to anyone looking for pho in Wichita.

  • Holly H.

I've been going here for years, and they've never faltered in quality. Best pho and banh mi in town, no doubt! Friendly staff, too! Its cash only, so don't forget to bring that. No complaints, highly recommend!

    (5)
  • Ky N.

I'm vietnamese and grew up eating the food my whole life and still eat it today. I can honestly say their pho is easily in my top 5 pho meals I've ever ate and I'm from arlington Texas where there is a huge vietnamese community and hundreds of restaurants to choose from. I was in wichita for a lil while and found this place it's amazing the pho is top notch.

  • Bobbi T.

No trip to Wichita is complete without a trip to My Tho! People who know me know that I really dont like to eat pho unless its homemade. My kids rarely eat and they are able to share an XL bowl of mi and even ask for some of mine. Everything here is so good! Cant go wrong no matter what you decide to order!

    (5)
  • Layla W.

It wasn't horrible but far FAR from good! There were flies flying about, although staff was friendly. My veggies were wilted like they had been left out on the counter for a while. I was sad they did not have chicken pho. So I had the steak...like someone else had mentioned before the greasiest pho I've had. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone or return...very disappointing :( The people that give this the thumbs up must have never experienced pho done right! (just my opinion).

  • Kiel L.

Love the pho,I am originally from Tx but work across the street from this place, now I eat here two to four times a week, the combination pho got me hooked, now I prefer the steak and meatball pho with the sandwich, and the coffee is one of my favorites.

  • Angela G.

When it comes to pho, I like My Tho the best - and it comes down to the broth. The depth of the flavors of pho broth come shining through. When we go, I often buy extra broth.

  • Alicia M.

I love their pho, its one of the only places that I go to get it. However they only accept cash but the stop at the atm is so worth it.

  • Jeff K.

I came back yesterday for lunch. The broth in the pho is excellent. It's not too sour or salty. The portions of noodle and beef in the pho is good for $6. The only take away on this occasion is that I asked for the cilantro not to be included in the broth, but somehow it still made it in. But, other times I've been here, they've been able to keep the cilantro out. I also like having the soda plum drink which has a classic sweet & sour drink that I've only found in Vietnamese restaurants. The server is very friendly.

  • Boon K.

This a good tasting bowl of pho and I really like the sandwiches here. The prices were very affordable and the service was really nice. They have a simple menu but everything was pretty good. Just remember to bring cash.

My Tho has got to be, hands down, the best pho restaurant in Wichita! I don't know what it is about Kansas City, but Wichita has better pho restaurants overall. Every time I come back to visit, I make it a point to eat at My Tho. Open for longer than I think I'm alive, MT has been around for a while and you kinda get why. The staff of brothers are always pleasant and helpful and the food is great. They have a selective menu, pho, hu tieu, mi, bo kho and banh mi, but they know what they're good at and it's enough. I usually order a pho combination or hu tieu with egg noodles only, and of course a banh mi to go (banh mis are subject to availability because they run out quickly.) The place has been remodeled and it is a lot larger than it was before with the pool hall side now open for dining and the wall in between taken down. Only downside: I get sad when they close for vacation. Thumbs up to My Tho!

    I. Love. These. Boys!!! This place is the best. I love the food and the service. The guys are so polite and friendly. The food always tastes fresh and it comes out so fast. I like that they have banh mi sandwiches too. This place is pretty good but would be even better if they had fish balls(balls of fish meat) on the menu for pho. Other than that they're great.

  • Mike M.

Looks sketchy outside. Billiards?? You walk in and it's a whole new story. Service is great! Menu is simple. Food came pretty quick. Great pho. Not too salty with plenty of flavor. I ordered #11 and tried co workers bahn mi. Everything was tasty. Definitely worth way more than what you pay. Hit the Coleman outlet afterwards!

My Tho is probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in Wichita I've been to. The Pho is very good although a bit salty for my taste. My Tho is a family run establishment and they put their customers first. The dining room is spacious, clean and simple with low noise levels. The menu is large including all of my favorites! I would recommend this restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner.

First of all, this review is about the pho only. I cannot comment on the other dishes. After eating at nearly every Vietnamese place in town, I have to say that I think I've concluded that Wichitans are just missing out on truly great pho. Just for reference, I am a pho aficionado, and my boyfriend is Vietnamese and we virtually unanimously agree when it comes to pho. He is from the Dallas area and I am originally from OK. OKC has a surprisingly huge Asian district and one of the regions largest Viet populations (outside of the largest cities like Dallas). Anyway, just wanted to lay that foundation before I go on. So we first went to My Tho on a recommendation and in search of great pho in Wichita. I have lived here almost three years and pho is one of my top five favorite foods so I have tried A LOT of places. My boyfriend and I went to My Tho and our observations were as follows: broth was ok, meat was seriously skimped on, and we were shocked they did not have any spring, summer or Vietnamese egg rolls. First Vietnamese restaurant we've ever been to that didn't have these items as appetizers. So we felt the menu was very limited. Like I said, there wasn't that much meat in our bowls. I felt the broth was decent to good, so I had hopes that maybe the meat thing was a fluke. I went back a second time probably a year or so later with a friend and nope, unfortunately it was about the same experience. Skimped on meat and the broth was even more bland and mediocre than the first time. So I doubt I will ever return to My Tho. If you want really great pho and you are ever in OKC, go to Pho Lien Hoa. I even know native Wichitans who somehow knew of that place and make drives down there occasionally and rave about it as well.

Sometimes a restaurant lives up to the hype, sometimes not. The Pho here is good, no doubt but not as mind-blowing as other places I've had in the area. I wish there was more veggies. I'm used to Pho with plenty of green onions and peppers. The broth was a bit weak in my opinion. The Bahn Mi was the star of the show here. Crunchy, buttery, nice meat and veg. A bit small for $4 would be the only criticism of the sandwich. They don't offer spring rolls.

  • Regina F.

Imagine, a bowl. And in this bowl are noodles. But these aren't your typical noodles. No. These noodles are magical noodles. They're like long, clear silk pipes. They're soft, yet don't disintegrate into noodle fragments. They're firm, but they're easily wrapped and unloaded from chopsticks to spoon, without spilling over the sides. And then there's the flavor - an essence of pork permeates every slurp. Tiny round spots of fat oils accumulate on top of your soup, and cling to the rim of the bowl. The cilantro balances perfectly with added bean sprouts. If you're so lucky, your tongue will perk up at the beckoning of a green chili seed. And because you're American, or live in Kansas, or are visiting Wichita, you order a side of bread to compliment your noodle soup. You do this because your waiter insists that this French bread is delicious. And to your delight, the buttered bread does not harden. Its outside is golden and crumbly, while the interior is fluffy, moist and buttered just enough. You could dunk it in your pho, but instead you jam it down your throat. Full knows no boundaries in the midwest, and what better way to distend your belly than a bowl of marrow-infused noodle soup and buttered Vietnamese style French bread?

I never thought I'd encounter the best-pho-in-my-life in Wichita, KS. It's cheap, out of the mind good. And the staff are so nice. I'll be a serious repeater for sure!

Me and the buddy's came to Wichita for a basketball tournament and this was the first place we went to eat at. It was neither bad or amazing, just good. They didn't have appetizers on the menu which was very odd but I ended getting the banh mi and egg noodles and pork soup. Banh mi was really good but you can't really go wrong with a sandwich and the Egg noddle pork soup was good as well. I only wish they had more options but I still rated this a 4 because they were friendly and the food was what I expected to be.

Not a friendly environment. Of course the soup is very small portion and i would say it does come with lots and lots of MSG.

I've been exploring Old Town's restaurant scene since I arrived in Wichita, but I think I'm pretty much done. I had My Tho bookmarked as a place to visit, but it's a bit out into the normal part of downtown - it's not as polished as Old Town, and I put off my visit until all other options were exhausted. I took a chance on visiting My Tho on a Friday night, and I'm glad I did, because it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I had in that part of town. The ambiance to the restaurant is lacking - the walls are sparsely decorated, the TV's tuned to a station spoken in a language I don't understand, and somewhere in the back there's a guy speaking in stilted Vietnamese. The kid taking my order was eager to please, though, so that's good enough for me. Pho is the majority of the menu, and I ordered one - the Pho dac biet: which featured protein by way of "rare steak, brisket, tendon, beef balls." I thought there would be four different types of meat, given the menu, but there seemed to be only some fatty brisket and some sliced meatball, but whatever. The brother was heavily garnished with cilantro, scallions, and Frenched onions, and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting and munching on those rice noodles and broth. Before my pho arrived, I was presented with some bean sprouts, herbs, and some chiles. While I was waiting, I took a small bite out of one of the chiles, and I was surprised to find it was hot - really hot. A pleasant type of heat for me, though easily disconcerting for the uninitiated. I applaud the service of these chiles - it takes dedication to serve the things you like to eat, and not capitulated to the tastes of others. I think this is my first pho in Wichita, but I have no trouble believing this stuff is tops. My Tho oozes authentic Vietnamese cooking, and with a full meal costing under $8, many people would do well to skip eating at some of the more popular Old Town restaurants and walk the few blocks to someplace truly special.

Wonderful Pho. One of our favorite places to go. The bread that you can order with the Pho is hot and crusty. The service has been wonderful and respectful. A delightful place to try.

The service is very good and so is the food (I usually get #13). My biggest complaint is that they usually are out of something, either bread or broth.

best pho in town, hands down. best pho anywhere for that matter. dont waste your time anywhere else. some of the best customer service in town. cash only, which is only a bummer if you're not smart enough to go to the bank before hand.

Excellent food and service. The regular Pho Tai is great (and also a Sunday hangover cure). Adding a Banh Mi is always a good idea--Split it with someone and dip into the broth. Best Pho in Wichita. Cash only.

I had a great bowl of pho here, and it was really cheap. The interior is pretty basic -- don't go for the ambiance -- but the pho is good, though I recall the selection is a little limited. So if you want a nice bowl of pho at a reasonable price (and you're stuck in Wichita), then My Tho is the place.

This place is the bomb. And becoming a go-to favorite for me. It's unlike anything you've ever eaten or experienced if you've never tried out Vietnamese food. Got the number four, which was Pho with sliced steak. If you're looking to compare it to something, think chicken noodles from a different country but with beef. It's brothy & very flavorful with noodles and herbs. When you first get there, you'll turn on Emporia and park in the back. It's definitely not an upscale place by any means, just a hole in the wall. So I will say it's okay to stroll in with your sweats on! One of the best things about this place is while it's very cultural, (music, they have Vietnamese tv displayed) the server speaks very good English so even if you have no idea what's going on food-wise, at least you understand what's being said and can learn about it. They're VERY friendly and helpful if you have no clue of what to do. I'll say that the more times I go, the better the food gets because I know what to put in my pho and so on. The Thai tea is a MUST HAVE! A nice large bowl of pho with buttered bread and complete with a delicious glass of thai tea always makes my tummy smile :)

How I do miss this place. I live in L.A. now for about 2 years and still have not found a place that quite measures up. Trust, I have been searching. I used to come here so often they knew exactly what I always liked to order. Service is exceptional. Price is just right. My fav: egg noodle soup with a french bread sandwich to dip into the soup after I devour the noodles. A must when I visit.

The only place I eat my Hu Tieu Mi at! It's very flavorful compared to other Vietnamese hu tieu joints. The servers there are super nice and eager to please also! It's closed Tues and Wed though and cash only!

  • Chance S.

I dont which place has better pho... this restaurant or Pho Special. The pho here is a bit sweeter, and the sandwhich that you can buy to go with it, is the perfect compliment. The pho at Pho Special is more hearty, and the egg rolls are a great appetizer. I flip flop between both of these places. Oh, My Tho is cash only.

best pho in wichita. vietnamese coffee is good too. banh mi is ehhh average. the soup flavor is sweet for sure, but so consistently good every time I go. the seafood tomato based soup noodles are also really good too. nothing more to say, it's the bomb and it's March 2015 and I came back to edit this review again to show nothing has changed lol.

I come here almost once a week. The Mi is my favorite here. I usually order the regular sized bowl of Mi and a Banh Mi, too. I like dipping the sandwich in the broth. mMm...Great service, great food. Don't forget--- it's cash only!

OUTSIDE: It's on the corner of the street. From the outside, it looks like your standard hole-in-the-wall restaurant. AMBIANCE & DECOR: It's super chill! One of those places where you just sit down, order, and eat! It's not dirty but it's also not Mr. Clean's shiny bald head either. Some might say it's "ghetto" but I like it just the way it is. It has "character." Anyways, you've got an assortment of table shapes and adequate cushioned chairs to sit on. The tables are already set up with the menu so you don't have to wait for it. Their menu is a double sided laminated page of a good selection of noodles. And the table is stocked with your standard pho amenities (siracha, hoisin, etc.). Also, our utensils were neatly wrapped in our napkins. There's a divider in the middle of the room with some plastic flowers weaved through it, some might say it's tacky, I'll call it character. I didn't get a good look at the other side of the restaurant and I don't remember if there was music, but I do recall the high ceilings. SERVICE: It was awesome! Maybe because it was about 1:30 pm? But it was quick, friendly, and they're easy to approach if you need or want something. My uncle wanted me to try their Bánh mì even though I was already enjoying my pho, and it came out with a quickness. I wasn't able to try it in the restaurant so our server kindly wrapped it up in foil and bagged it for me. FOOD: To drink, I ordered the limeade... which they gave to me in addition to ice water! (With straws--I didn't even have to ask!) I think it's neat because some places don't give you both your drink and water. Dude, that limeade was hella good. Super fresh, and I know because I make my own limeade the same way! Btw, I prefer limeade over lemonade any day! To eat, I had a delicious bowl of pho at the restaurant and had the Bánh mì that I took home for dinner. Along with the pho is your typical tray of bean sprouts, basil, and lime. They were particularly generous with the bean sprouts, which I love to see. I love my mom's pho the best, but this one was pretty damn good too. I've had my share of plain and poor pho, but this was goood (with emphasis). I ordered my pho with the meat balls, tendon, and steak. They thinly slice their large meat balls so they were easy to eat and they were yummy. I believe these are handmade meat balls, not the kind in the vacuum sealed bag (ya know what I'm talking about?). And the tendon was melt-in-your-mouth tender--that's the best way to have them! I finished the whole bowl even though I was already pretty full. You know it's good when you keep eating even though you don't have to! And that's the reason why I had to take my Bánh mì to go (even though it also looked so good). Since I had the Bánh mì not fresh, but later that day out of the fridge, my expectations weren't high but when I had it, it was still pretty damn good too! There was a good amount of meat and pickled veggies and slices of pepper throughout the sandwich all nicely packed so that you'll get a little bit of everything when you take a bite. And their bread was buttery (or was that just the mayo that soaked into it and I've confused it with buttery because I attempted to retoast it in the oven?). I wonder if they make their own bread... The sandwich was good! OVERALL: The service is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are fabulous: $6 for a regular sized bowl of pho with any of the various meats you want and $3 for a well made Bánh mì! I'm a fan!

Love the pho,I am originally from Tx but work across the street from this place, now I eat here two to four times a week, the combination pho got me hooked, now I prefer the steak and meatball pho with the sandwich, and the coffee is one of my favorites.

When it comes to pho, I like My Tho the best - and it comes down to the broth. The depth of the flavors of pho broth come shining through. When we go, I often buy extra broth.

I love their pho, its one of the only places that I go to get it. However they only accept cash but the stop at the atm is so worth it.

My first time in a Vietnamese Restaurant. I knew I wanted some Pho ("Phuh") and told the server this was my first time to order it. He suggested the Pho Tai and I got a big bowl of it. The four servers worked as a team. Out came a plate with bean sprouts, basel leaves on the stem, sliced jalapeno peppers and what looked like finely quartered limes along with plenty of napkins, special spoon, heavy chop sticks and a fork. I was told that I could experiment with the stuff on the side plate and mix them in to the main bowl to suit my taste. He told me all about the Rooster sauce, the fish sauce, the hoison sauce. As I started adding stuff to my bowl of Pho, a couple of folks checked out. Two of the servers immediately approached the tables and together had them ready in just a minute or so. I was impressed that they sprayed down the table as a final step before finishing (rather than just a wet towel you see many places.) I ended up adding all of the basil leaves, all of the sliced jalapenos, and experimented with the Rooster sauce until I got it hot like I want it. I barely used any of the bean sprouts. I don't think a soup-type dish should crunch in your mouth. This was a great first experience/exposure to "Pho".

Ordered the bahn mi soup, lots of tender meat in it, full of flavor , greasy but tasty enough . Hubby had the pho large with all the meat. Enough soup and meat. They have a big parking space at the back of the store Always have the coconut juice, staff is very hospitable checking everything we need. They have good bread , liked dipping it with the soup. They give lots of beansprouts and basil in a plate thats generous of them.

My review is based on comparison to cross country pho places. It is definitely not as good as pho places out West but it is good to try at least once. I felt that when I ordered my House Egg noodle soup, it needed an extra kick and it wasn't good by itself. It definitely needed more spices and overall, it was very bland. It needed some variety as well when it came to the different meats it used. It only contained pork which was meh. The sliced jalapeno peppers were good to put in but, the local thai chiles were super hot so, be careful before you put those in there. I would definitely recommend putting the hoisin sauce and rooster sauce to freshen up the dish. The banh mi was also average and could use more ingredients rather than more bread.

Winter is coming... and that means Pho time! I had the beef and tendon, which is pretty much what I always get when it comes to Pho. The broth here is a solid effort. I like the meat pieces as well. The vegetable sides were good, and the raw peppers were similar to a tabasco or thai chili and were downright volcanic! Sadly, there was no culantro/recao leaves... which I am finding many places do not include these days. Service here was friendly and fast.

Brought two men that I'm training with here last night, one for his first Vietnamese food experience. Came because of the Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Great and very friendly service. No trip to Wichita is complete without a trip to My Tho! People who know me know that I really dont like to eat pho unless its homemade. I've been going here for years, and they've never faltered in quality. Best pho and banh mi in town, no doubt! Friendly staff, too! Its cash only, so don't forget to bring that. No complaints, highly recommend!

When I got there I was thinking to myself this is a weird place to have a restaurant but as I stepped in boy I thought wrong it looks lovely inside; don't judge a book by is cover my dad says, I love the pho! Great service. I recommend everyone to try this place!

Me and the buddy's came to Wichita for a basketball tournament and this was the first place we went to eat at. It was neither bad or amazing, just good. They didn't have appetizers on the menu which was very odd but I ended getting the banh mi and egg noodles and pork soup. Banh mi was really good but you can't really go wrong with a sandwich and the Egg noddle pork soup was good as well. I only wish they had more options but I still rated this a 4 because they were friendly and the food was what I expected to be.

I'm a fan!

I come here almost once a week. The Mi is my favorite here. I usually order the regular sized bowl of Mi and a Banh Mi, too. I like dipping the sandwich in the broth. mMm...Great service, great food. Don't forget--- it's cash only!

Limited choice. No vegetarian fares. Essentially only soups. Tasty, but still....
