The best burgers in town the sweet potato fries were so good. I highly recommend them to everyone. Good ole fashion home grilled burgers with lots of choices in sauses , cheese, and fixings.

Fries are awesome and the bread is too. A bit pricey Mooyah style -- no thanks. They need some help with organization. I waited for 30 minutes for my food only to discover that the order "had been lost"

I love their blackbean burgers. I get it every time I go. I'm told that their beef burger is very good. I'm also told that thier turkey burgers are really really yummy. The service is always friendly and the food always arrives in a timely manner.

Looking promising, like a local venue that was aiming to compete with Smashburger or 5 Guys, we decided to give this a try. Upon entering, we were welcomed by very friendly and cheerful staff and the menu looked much as expected. When we served we, again, were very pleased - all seemed to be going to plan. The buns and burgers looked delicious and the first couple fries I had hit the mark. That's where the fun ended. I've read a couple reviews that described the burgers as juicy. No. There's a big difference between juicy and having grease pour out, running down your arms. I remember in college how the lunch ladies would precook a large batch I'd burgers and leave them sitting in a tub of juice/grease, so that they could be plucked out and reheated as needed. Oddly, I found those to be edible - nowhere near as greasy as these. When I worked at McDonald's growing up, we were taught to give the burgers a cursory shake after removing them from the grill. Thus would be a practice that the management here would be well-advised to adopt.

I had the mooyah cheese burger. My wife had a veggie burger. They were okay but not good. The veggie tasted like a bunch of blended red peppers and corn formed into a patty. I don't think that they were worth the money that we paid. This place is a little bit high-priced. I don't think I will be eating here again and I could not recommend this to my friends. This place is just a fast food burger joint. A small burger, fry, and drink cost $10.

Finally tried this place for the first time about two weeks ago. I love how the meat patty was kind of crispy. The whole burger was juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed the Mooyah sauce on my burger, too. One of my favorite toppings that we added to our burger was the fried onion strings. The regular order of fries was enough for my fiance and I to share. We thought it took slightly long to get our two burgers and order of fries, but that wasn't too big of a deal. We will definitely be back!

Burgers are very good, but very pricey for a burger joint. Order carefully, items like cheese and bacon cost extra!

Mooyah is located off of West Street in a new small strip mall. There are a few places off of West Street for burgers, but this place is probably the most modern and hip. A few friends of mine recently commented about this place, and since I was already on this side of town, I figured I would check it out. The interior of Mooyah is very modern. Once you walk in, there is a large wall of bold text that describes what you'll be experiencing, and towards the back wall by the register are stacks of potato sacks. If you've been to a Five-Guys it's very similar setup. The ceilings are exposed with brightly painted neon green air ducts, and on the opposite wall is a large chalkboard for adventurous customers that want to scribble to their hearts content. The seating is a mixed of black aluminum chairs and tall wooden chairs. Up front by the windows you have single seating. The ordering system can be confusing at first, but once you have figured out what you want, you order by selecting what type of burger you want, and the steps on the wall walk you through on which toppings you can add to your order. There are also small paper ordering sheets if you happen to walk in if it's busy. Fortunately, I arrived early before noon, so I could take my time on my order. You can easily spend about $10-15 on yourself alone if you pick just about everything on the menu. I just ordered the Mooyah burger (2 patties) with wheat bread (which they bake fresh daily), cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, sauteed mushrooms, with ketchup, mustard, and mayo. I then had the small single serving fries (cut fresh) as well. That came out to about 9 dollars. I didn't opt for the shake, so I'll have to try that next time. The burger & fries took about 7-10 minutes to make. The owner called out my order and brought it to me. How kind. Now for the taste. The burger pretty much tasted identical to what you would find at a Five-Guys. It came wrapped in aluminum foil and was dripping in grease. I'm not sure if they toast their buns or not, because the bottom piece was smashed trying to support all the things I ordered on it. If it were toasted and a little thicker bottom, I probably wouldn't have had to wipe my hands of the grease on 10 napkins. The bacon was crunchy, yet chewy. Onions could have been sauteed or at least have that option. Overall it tasted good, and it was a high quality product with fresh beef. Fries I was a bit least impressed with. I wished they were a bit more crunchier. Only the parts with skin on them were crunchy. They didn't put enough salt on them. I would like them to season the fries, which would really bring out the flavor of the potatoes. The only thing that makes this place differentiate from Five-Guys is the decor. It simply looks better inside. Five-Guys just has a boring red and white checkered theme. This place has a lot of color and the seating is better. As for the experience, it's very good there. The food is just not better, but equal to the competition. I probably won't make much of an effort to come back, but if I'm craving a burger and I'm on the west side of town, I would come back.

Went here to support a friend as she and her hubby own the place. I really liked this place better than five guys because the burgers and fries weren't as greasy! Would also recommend the Oreo cookie milkshake! Very kid friendly. There's a chalkboard wall that can be decorated. If you want something fast that doesn't taste like its been through a greasy food processor, come on down!!!

**update.. went in last week and the burger has gone downhill. Also, they took the paper order away. I wish that would still be an option. Positive is a new pick-up window. Mooya what did you change about your burger? It was gross! Great burgers! Expensive but delish! Service is fantastic! I have taken my family in and am always impressed with how helpful the staff is! The food is really great!! I love that the owner is right there and involved. Every time we go in he is so kind, helpful, and he does whatever needs to be done! I have seen him sweep and clean tables. In the same visit I have seen him help in the kitchen. He has always been respectful to employees and customers! We would eat here so much more if it was just a bit less expensive.

I've been there a few times.. The first time I went there they were pretty busy so I didn't mind waiting a little longer for my food (Especially since I was super hungry!) The burger, fries, and a drink was a little over $10. A little pricey. The first time it was okay. Not bad, but I've had better. The second time I went there it was dead. There was no one in there and I still waited about 15-20 minutes to get my food. I didn't understand what was taking so long. Again, it was pretty pricey and it wasn't that great. Over all, for the price I wouldn't go back. The food is okay. But not good enough for me to go back again.

Fast and friendly. The manager came to check on the tables. Wife loves that she can get the burger wrapped in lettuce rather than the fresh soft wheat bun. Los of free toppings...the mushrooms are fresh, not canned. I prefer it over a Five Guys or such

I had never heard of this place, but my kids and I decided to check it out! Awesome food! They have a black bean burger and a veggie burger that are really good! Haven't tried the other burgers yet, but assume they would be really good too!

Food is great quality and comes in an enormous amounts. The service is fast and the menu offers a lot of options for your burger. The only downside is the food is a little pricey for a burger joint! Would like to see these spread throughout the whole Midwest!

This place is very similar to Five-Guys but better. The decor is much better and they have three flat screen TVs which might be a nice addition for some people. The burgers are good and taste fresh. You get a lot of fries with your order. They also have sweet potato fries, and they are delicious! Not sure if Five Guys does or not. The employees are nice and the service is great. They sale shakes but to me weren't anything special. It is a nice burger place to go to that doesn't have that fast food burger taste.

Ate at Mooyah today and it was great! The burgers were delicious, fries were abundant (regular and sweet potato style). Service was excellent and the chalkboard entertained the kids! Would definitely come back!

The burger wasn't bad. The fries weren't anything to write home about. The real problem; the place was disgusting. Anyone have any pride or know how to clean?! Clearly not. It's bad enough you'll stink like burger, its unacceptable to have the floor sticky and littered with god only knows what and every table dirty.

Food is tasty. Comes with tons of fries. BUT nothing came out hot and one burger was made wrong. When we took it up they asked if they had made the other one a double instead of a single. What does it matter?? Just fix the one that's wrong. 5 Guys is better.

Good burgers and fries. A lot of food and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Staff was bery friendly. A little pricey, but good. We will definitely be back!

My first visit to Mooyah about a year ago was decent. This last time though it seems like they changed something with their burger because it just wasn't that good. We don't have a smashburger in town anymore so it's hard to find good alternatives. Decor is really nice but the prices do seem a little high.

Happy i tried it out. Very good burger, and I'm a sucker for sweet potato fries and theirs are pretty good. A bit of a wait, a bit pricy, but worth it for the quality.

Burgers are delicious and the fries are to die for. The shakes are good, but won't be the best you've ever had. All in all, it is a little bit pricey for what you get. Nice HD TV's in the restaurant if you need to watch a game while you're there. The restaurant was clean and the service was fine. Takes a bit to get your food, so it is not going to be the fastest place to eat. TLDR Version: Good burgers, average shakes, slow but friendly service, awesome fries, clean/comfortable, bit too pricey. 3.5/5

I HOPE this place makes it, because any quibbles I might have about speed of service and pricing are more than made up for by the quality of the product and the friendliness of the staff. Marking the "ordering ballot" upon arrival can be confusing for the first-time customer, as there dozens of ingredient choices and permutations, with many differents cheeses, toppings, and sauces available. But I quickly guided the family through the menu and everyone seemed happy with their topping choices. There was a brief wait for the burgers, (probably 15 minutes or so) but considering the number of people working the kitchen, you wouldn't think it would take so long to make a few burgers, but the totally customized burgers are worth the wait. They aren't cooked to death, they're juicy and flavorful, and the buns have a great texture that holds together while you enjoy each and every bite. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were good, although it's best to leave them in their cup because they get cold quickly and the quality suffers (although we didn't leave very many fries uneaten.) Service was friendly and helpful, and the owner himself said "thanks for stopping in" as we left. My whole family enjoyed the dining experience and mentioned how good it was for several days. Next time I think we'll try a couple of the milkshakes and split a couple of the bigger burgers.

Enjoyed this place a lot! The process is new, you fill out your order on a sheet then you hand it to the cashier. It works fine, just different. I absolutely loved my burger and the sweet potato fries were da bomb! Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is I felt it was a little on the pricey side, but the prices are on par with comps like Five Guys, etc.

If I spend 11.00 for lunch I shouldn't leave hungry. The food was good so was the service but the burgers are small and over priced.
