Outstanding, all the way around. Waitstaff was attentive and patient; explaining the intricacies of Vietnamese dining to our incompetent round eyed brains. Crab Rangoon, and the accompanying sauce, was better than ice cream. And I freaking LOVE ice cream. My compadres had pho, and loved it. I had chicken fried rice and it was PERFECT. Seriously; just the right amount of egg in the rice. Excellent tender pieces of chicken well cooked, tender, juicy. Not all dried out and stale. And it was a HUGE portion. If you decide to pay the $1 more for the bigger bowl of pho be aware it is essentially a bucket. And awesome. Not a fan of lots of ethnic food, but I will be back here.

Ambiance: This place is incredibly welcoming and the staff is very experienced with dealing with first-time viet customers. I've been here twice and both times we've been seat promptly. The place is very bright with simply white walls, plentiful open windows, and black chairs. There aren't a lot of stereotypical vietnamese decorations such as pictures of yaks and farmers in rice fields nor is there annoying high-pitched vietnamese music on (not a fan of). This place just seems pretty modern and a nice place to sit for a casual luch. I like the servers warn people what is in the dish, especially ones that have peanuts, fish sauce, etc. It shows a lot of consideration and helps first-timers ease in to the unique tastes of vietnamese food. Food: Overall I have been here twice and gotten take-out twice. First and foremost, try the porkchop broken rice dish as it's a fun dish. Maybe half of the vietnamese restaurants in the mid-west have actual broken rice so try it where you can; it's a fun experiment in texture. The porkchop is well-cooked, moist, tender and tasty. It comes with shredded pork skin which sounds really weird but it also adds a fun textural dimension to the dish because it is slightly chewy. Don't eat it by itself because it can be dry and grainy. Instead mix it with the rice and pour some fish sauce over it. The dish also comes with an egg-loaf (think quiche) and veges which are decent. I have gotten the vermicelli bowls with pork and an egg roll twice now. Both times i've been satisfied but ultimately underwhelmed. The pork in this dish is artifically-colored red and is sometimes chewy. The flavor is decent and it comes with significant chunks of fat but that is normal as far as this dish normally goes. I just am not fan of the composition of the noodles, lettuce, etc although i'm hard-pressed to tell you why, I've just had much better elsewhere. Pho-wise this place is decent. The broth is salty, savory, and not overly-sweet like cheaper restaurants. For the un-initiated it'll be a good introduction but you'll find better more-concentrated broth as other restaurants in other states. This broth just seems a little thinner than what I'm used to in San Diego. I personally don't like chewing on flavorless tendon so I just stick to flank meat. Perhaps my biggest complaint with this place is the fish sauce. Fish sauce is one of the staples of vietnamese food as it is served with the appetizers, vermicelli bowls, rice dishes etc. It should be a combination of sweet, tangy, and spicy but this place was pretty bland. I think they need to up the vinegar and fish sauce ratio and throw in some chilis but I realize this place is catering to a very American population and it would be too-much too-soon for most. Overall this place is a very good vietnamese place in wichita and perhaps just an average one compared to most i've been to. The rice dishes and pho are good go-to dishes and the vermicelli bowls acceptable. This place could benefit from concentrating their fish sauce and giving it a little more pow but this place is geared towards a midwest palate and is therefore a great introduction for people who have never had vietnamese. I'd gladly come here again and would recommend it over saigon.

Great! I got the kimchi and pho and both were delicious. In fact when the pho came out I was initially skeptical because it wasn't accompanied by a big plate of herbs and bean sprouts, but rich and delicious flavor of the broth made me instantly forgive everything. In fact it didn't need any extra seasoning. I finished the bowl favoring the complex beautiful broth every bite. Yum!

I came to this restaurant for lunch 8/12/15 around 11:45am. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I've tried here in Wichita, and it definitely lived up to the Hype. there is plenty of parking however after I finished my lunch around 12:30, the large parking lot was full (a good sign). My coworker has been going to this place for awhile and suggested we try it for lunch, the menu is filled with a wide range of dishes which made it difficult to pick something. The waiter asked if I needed any recommendations and suggested I ordered the Char grilled Pork Pad Thai, it was delicious. The portion was very generous easily enough for two people, I had enough leftovers for dinner. One thing I thought that was weird was that the Pad Thai unlike the versions I've had at other Thai restaurants had no eggs in it (not sure why). The char grilled pork in the Pad Thai was delicious, it had that smoky charred crust you come to expect but not at all rubbery, the noodles were evenly coated in what seemed to be a soy based sauce, the vegetables in the dish were not overcooked and cooked perfectly. My coworker ordered the chicken vermicelli noodle bowl with egg roll and it looked great also. I will definitely come back and try a few more things from the menu. My dish was very reasonably priced keeping it mind how large the portion was. I would definitely recommenced checking this place out.

Was craving some Pho and Little Saigon definitely delivered. I don't think they actually deliver but they do offer takeout! The restaurant is pretty nice considering the neighborhood it's in. The servers are also very friendly and helpful. Started off with some creamy delicious Crab Rangoon and Vietnamese Pork Egg Rolls. I split a BBQ Pork Bánh Mi with my girlfriend and we both ordered the regular sized Chicken Pho and still had enough to take home. In fact for a total of $30 we both left full and with enough leftovers for basically another entire meal. I'm definitely no Pho expert but it was tasty. It's nice to be able to add your own sauces and seasoning to cater the meal to your liking. The Bánh Mi was good but I've had better. I enjoyed dipping it into my Pho, it helped soften up the bread a bit.

Every new dish I try here is better than the last. The pho is the best in Wichita and the charbroiled pork spring rolls are phenomenal.

One of the best Vietnamese fusion places in Wichita. They have great appetizers and great entrees. I love all their foods. I have not had a bad meal here. Best part is that the prices are so low and the portions are huge. Must try! Some suggestions are: Fresh Spring Rolls (A-1); Chicken Lettuce Wraps (A-7); Vietnamese Sandwich with Steak (BM-3); Noodle Dish: sautéed beef (B-10) PS, all chicken can be substituted with beef.

*FOOD* Crispy Egg Noodles w/beef--flavors were so underwhelming. I was pretty hungry after a 4+ hr drive and was thinking that I can't go wrong w/a higher rated place. This dish was just bland w/a questionable cooked in "old oil" taste. Crab Rangoon--they use sesame oil to it that ruins the fried wonton wrappers! And the crab/cream cheese mix tasted very bland, and way too creamy... borderline mayo-tasting... very unappetizing. Don't get me wrong, love mayo but not when I order crab rangoon. Mixture had no green onions and a scant amount of crab mix. Never thought this appetizer would ever go unfinished at a restaurant, left 3 pieces uneaten. *SERVICE* Waitress and host very nice, the food just wasn't enough to give it a higher rating. ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ----- ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ OVERALL, good service but if you want really delicious authentic tasting Vietnamese, or even Thai food as they have a fusion menu, I'd try a different spot.

First time here visiting from out of town. Stopped in because of the reviews and wasn't disappointed. The Pho was outstanding.

Consistently consistent. I'm not a giant fan of the food but it's never a bad time, bad service or bad flavor. I return often because my friends love it. Centrally located with a spacious design and tons of windows letting ample amounts of natural light in.

I had the shrimp pho and the cragoon! It was very good and cheap! $15! The service was fast and the food was scrumptious! Our server was fast and on her job! Will be going back!!!!

Great food! Lots of choices on the menu. I will definitely go back. I had the fresh spring rolls and short ribs with rice.

Pho in Wichita, KS! Yay! Prior to arrival, I searched yelp on where the best Vietnamese restaurants were in downtown Wichita. Compiled that with local here say on where to go, my friend and I came here to Little Saigon Vietnamese restaurant. The reviews were pretty good, so we decided to try it. The restaurant was a little grand (layout) for my own taste, but it works! Plenty of seating available on a Saturday afternoon and I was very famished after a morning of driving up the I-35 and I-135 from Oklahoma City to Wichita. It was a good experience here and the service was good as well. Quick and to the point as they said. I had ordered the usual combination pho Bac diet and the order of summer rolls to fill me up. Little Saigon Vietnamese restaurant is located on 1015 N Broadway Street in Wichita, KS. Can't really miss it once you are driving on Broadway. They have a private parking lot for their patrons, which is great for those pho junkies like me who need to get their fix. The great thing about this place is that they accept credit cards! Always a plus for me, but not American Express. It's okay. The restaurant itself is clean and very large - as mentioned earlier. Usually, Vietnamese restaurants I have been to are not large and grand like this one. I'm not one to complain, but it was a pleasant sight to see. My friend and I got a corner booth and it was clean already. We were in and out in about an hour, which was pretty standard. The summer rolls I thought were decently good. At least they were not previously made and chilled / frozen till someone orders it. The pho itself could have been a little better with more meat and more noodles, but I should have asked for that. They have adequate amounts of bean sprouts and basil, so that was nice. The broth was good, as it was a lighter brown than that of I have tasted. Still, it was a fine meal that would have been better if these three ingredients had presented itself: 1. Deeper enriching broth 2. More meat 3. More noodles. Still the meal was good enough. Can't say it was great, just good a and it hit the spot after a morning of driving. The prices here were reasonable, if you were in the market for the Pho. I'm not sure about the other dishes though. Probably worth it, if you decide on discovering new things. If you are in the area, you may want to try this place. I would say try this place and it's recommended. I probably wasn't thinking straight or whatever. May be an off day, but this place may just change your life! I hope to go back sometime soon though. Regardless of what I think of this place, good Vietnamese restaurants are hard to come by in the Midwest. Get them while you can. 3.5 stars rounded to 4.0 Support local! B

We were passing through town and stopped for a to go order using Yelp as our guide. We needed some help with their menu. I didn't find a grilled lemongrass chicken - pretty common in Dallas; but settled on a grilled pork. Our order was filled quickly and we were on our way. The pho with sliced beef and meatball was delicious. The Vietnamese fried egg rolls and shrimp and pork summer rolls were still very good despite sitting in a container for two hours. The pork with a fried rice, however, was not something I would usually eat. Dry, unnaturally pink slices of pork atop Chinese fried rice with a sweet sauce on the side. It was not inedible; but it was not Vietnamese and didn't interest me. Maybe a communication problem; but a far cry from any Vietnamese grilled meat I've had. Lovely people. Beautifully presented food, even to go. I would stop there again.

On my second visit today I tried the Pho Tai. I had tried the Pho Tai at My Tho a couple of weeks ago and wanted to compare it to Little Saigon's dish. It was good, but I felt that the My Tho Pho was better. Differences: Little Saigon's Pho seemed a bit bland in comparison, even though I seasoned it the same way as before. I mentioned in my review of My Tho that I didn't put any bean sprouts in the soup since I don't like crunchy soup. Little Saigon puts a few in so there was some crunches every so often. And the Little Saigon dish seemed to have a much higher percentage of rice noodles making the My Tho dish seem more balanced. And the same serving size at My Tho is about $3 less. Little Saigon has a much better atmosphere and great service. I will be back. I just wanted to compare that one dish.

This is the only place in town for pho. The staff is fantastic and they even have a full bar. Worth a trip no matter where in town you live. Feels like you're family after only a couple visits.

A great restaurant to go on any day for any occasion. Don't confuse this place for "Saigon" up the road. The Little Saigon is larger and much cleaner, friendlier, and tastier. I have had just about everything on the menu from Appetizers to items with seafood or pig knuckles. All of it has been delicious so far. Everyone will recommend Pho from here but that is just the beginning to a whole new world of flavors that could be opened up to you if you try other items. The sad part is my wife and I have been here so often that we think the manager knows us because she greets us as friends to the business. That's part of the charm of the place though I think. Also no matter who your server is if another server see's you need something they will step up and take care of you.

Love love LOVE this place. I had been eating at the "other" Saigon up the street for years, and it was tolerable, but this place knocks it out of the park. Haven't been back to the old place since. I can't get enough of their Bun Thit Nuong. My God. It's absolutely one of the best dishes I've had. It's consistent, and the portions are ridiculous. There are so many other things on the menu, and my friends always order different stuff, but I can't seem to order anything else! The place is always clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner is the nicest lady - she seems to keep everything in check and always stops by our table to check on us. She's the best. Shady part of town, for sure, but I haven't ever had any problems. I've never gone at night, though, but I wouldn't recommend anyone being on Broadway after dark. The place is always busy, so it looks like the secret is out!

I'm a big fan of pho, in fact is probably one of the only dishes I would eat ever day. And I've been to just about every pho serving restaurant in Wichita. I can say with confidence that Little Saigon makes the best pho in town. I say that based because of a hand full of reasons, number one being the consistency. The consistency of the quality, each time I visit and have the pho it is well made and satisfying. The service is hit and miss, depending on how busy they are but you can rest assured knowing that the food will be good and you will leave full.

Not impressed with their Pho at all. But thumb up to their Vietnamese sandwich. I had one at the restaurant and ordered one to go.

My fiance and I decided to try this place so we could compare to the other local pho restaurants in town. We were promptly welcomed and seated as soon as we walked in. As an appetizer we ordered the egg rolls. They were perfectly fried but we were not big fans of the sauce served with them. As an entree we both ordered the large size Pho Thai which we both thought was pretty good. The broth was very tasty and had a great ginger flavor. The price was a little higher than others we've been to but they do have a full bar. The waiting staff could have been a little more attentive, other than that we had a great time trying out Little Saigon for the first time!

Probably my favorite restaurant in Wichita. There is so much to say about this place, I don't know where to start. The Bun Tit Nuoung is awesome. I think it's B-4 on the menu. It is Vermicelli noodles with pork in kind of a salad. Me and my friends all drown it with soy, sirachi, and hoison. I like hoison so much that my friend Joe once sent me a bottle of it for my birthday. Pretty sure he did the "if it fits, it ships" deal. It also comes with a very greasy egg roll that is awesome. Derrick always subs his egg roll for a spring roll to save calories. He's always does goofy stuff like this. When we travel he carries a small bottle of vodka and some perrier. He has two and then switches to beer to save calories. Weird. Here's a few tips....if you go to Little Saigons take my friend Joe. He always orders "crab ragoos" and doesn't eat them all so you always get kind of a free appetizer. I would also wear a dark shirt. It's nuts how far a noddle can project a little amount of liquid. No matter how hard you try you will get something on you. Brian is the messiest of our group and always is covered with brown sauces. I'm pretty sure he even got sauce on the tie he borrowed from Joe when the President of our company came to town. Seriously...this is a great restaurant with great service. Go with B-4 and have fresh spring rolls to start. More than likely you will not need dinner that night and will be searching for a dry cleaners.

Oh it's good to visit home. Little Saigon is a great place to visit when I visit the old ICT. The staff is always friendly and I've never been disappointed in my food. Granted I always order the same thing but hey, I know what I like. I always order Pho with tofu and veggies easy on the noodles. So warm and tasty. A note to the veg heads--I'm pretty sure the broth is not veg friendly but you could always ask. Nice fresh veggies, good tofu, and plenty of jalapenos, lime, bean sprouts, and herbs make this soup a warm cool weather delight. The spring rolls are always fresh and tasty as well. Oh and of course Vietnamese iced coffee is a must for all coffee lovers.

I've dined here years ago, and the food wasn't that great. But lately I heard that they are always packed because the food is really good again. So I was curious & brought my family for dinner on a Saturday afternoon. The place was nice & spacious & clean, then things started to go downhill. Ordered thai boba tea, waitress started saying how they only have boba on Sundays, i laughed because I thought she was joking. Why put it on the menu. Then I asked her if they have their special bun bo hue, or is that only on Sundays too? She said that soup is not very good here. I started to question taking my family here at this point. We just ordered stir fry dishes, and it was subpar to a good chinese take out place. For the price, and service, I wouldn't come back. For people that eat here & says 'best ever', probably haven't eaten an authentic Vietnamese dish.

LOVE Little Saigon The service is wonderful, and the food I could eat here everyday B-4 is my favorite dish. The pork is char-boiled and yummy. The meat reminds me of when I was in college my roommate's Mom was from Hawaii and boy could she cook.

Just felt likes snacking so I ordered the fried dumplings (not bad), crab rangoon(I always like crab rangoon), and chicken lettuce wrap (not bad). I am use to pork lettuce wraps, so chicken was something new. I ordered non-Viet food at a Viet restaurant-----I know, bad! Their avocado smoothie was mainly milk (and I'm guessing powder). So it was very plain--and lacking flavor. Wished they had fresh avocados. Food wasn't bad. It's prob one of the few restaurants I keep coming back to whenever I visit Wichita though. From what I remember, the real viet dishes were good. :-) Older folks are rude (what's new), but the younger servers know a little better about customer service. Again, it's an Asian restaurant---don't expect much.

I was a little disappointed in the base broth of the pho, as it seemed to be straight-up chicken broth. That's where the disappointments ended, though, as the pho dac biet contained enough tendon, tripe, flank, and meatball to make me happy, and I was actually surprised to find the tendon was really well-prepared - a bit chewy, but tender. Aside from that, I was free to dress it up with sprouts, basil, chiles, fish sauce and sriracha (bonus points for the sriracha, by the way, because not all places offer it at the table) to my heart's content. The bahn mis once again tempted me, but I knew I wouldn't be leaving the restaurant happy with a bowl of pho and a sandwich in me. I did, however, try the Vietnamese coffee, which slowly dripped into a bit of condensed milk, waiting for me to pour it over ice. Even with the milk to help balance it out, it was still strong and good. Judging from the size of the menu and the bar, Little Saigon aims to be a one-stop shop for everything Asian, though I don't know how inclined I would be to stray from the Vietnamese stuff.

Excellent Pho will flank, tripe, and tendon. I love all of it except tripe, which did offer a textural variation. But I have yet to try beef tripe anywhere that I'd eat again. Italy, Mexico, US, wherever. I think I need to give up. LOL Service is excellent and shared amount 5 or 6 people as I could see. Once per 45 minutes or so the "matriarch" of the place would make a round of the dinner area and see that you were enjoying and without need. Nice touch. I would come back here anytime, lunch or dinner. Wichita is not the epicenter of cuisine, even locals would submit to that. But this place is really solid and deserves the outstanding reviews and robust patronage it receives.

I just cannot get enough of this place! I've been going here since it opened and I've never once had a bad experience. The spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce...mmmm! So refreshing and tasty. I once was on a Daniel fast and couldn't eat a lot of things, but the manager told me to try the Vegetarian Vermicelli with fried tofu. It is phenomenal. Now, even though I happily eat meat, I have to get it. Everyone I've taken to Little Saigon has made it a regular place for eating out! Oh, and the smoothies are bomb.com .

While visiting my grandmother in the Hospital in Wichita, KS my mother, grandfather and I were in the need of something other than American food from the cafeteria. We brought up Yelp and decided Little Saigon looked like it would produce something worth venturing out for. The service was fast and friendly. The dining room was bright, airy and clean. All of our food was freshly made. My mother ordered sesame chicken and said it was fresh and tender. My grandfather got the sweet and sour chicken and reported the same. I ordered the Pho Ga. It was delicious, the regular is just the right size, if you are like me and feel that most places over serve their portions.

Clean Environment Great Food Great Selection Good/Friendly Service This place is pretty much awesome. I don't understand why Wichita has a "Little Saigon" and a "Saigon" within blocks of each other, but nevertheless the food here is great at Little Saigon. "Little Saigon is actually much larger, maybe twice the size of "Saigon". "Little Saigon" is much newer and more modern inside, while "Saigon" is more authentic looking inside. I have tried chicken dishes in every category and have not been disappointed yet. My favorite is the rice noodle and fried crispy noodle dishes. Excellent. They recently built an outdoor seating area, but I am unsure how inviting it will be with it being so close to the street where many "street walkers" roam Broadway. Regardless, I appreciate their ambitious ideas. Little Saigon seems to have more options on the menu and a large variety of oddly paired smoothies that I have never indulged in personally, but friends have told me good things. Parking is much easier at "Little Saigon" and much better for large groups. I have also found it to be better for lunch meetings. Tables have plenty of space between them to have some privacy.

We were in town for a wedding and wanted to find some good eats in downtown Wichita. We were happy to find this gem! Two of us had the pho and I had a beef dish that was recommended by the waitress. Everything was tasty. Also got the Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious! We ended our meals with bubble tea but was disappointed to find out the Thai iced tea and bubbles were not very good. What made the experience so memorable was the excellent service. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel really at home. We liked it so much that we went back the next day. Definitely recommend this place if you're in Wichita looking for good Asian food. But bubble tea it up elsewhere. ;)

I came to Wichita for a bball tournament and this was the second Vietnamese restaurant we went to. You walk and everything is clean and up to dated. We had about 10 of us and they Sat us very quickly. Service was great and they were there in seconds every time we needed them. For appetizer I got crabmeat rangoons and the fried calamari/ kimchi. WOW, I love crabmeat rangoons and this IS by far the best I've ate. The calamari was great too, the kimchi was just a bonus to have with it. For my main course plate I got the grill pork chop, fried rice, egg, meat loaf and shredded pork. WOW again, this was a amazing dinner plate, i love to eat and this got me FULL. This was tasty and delicious. If i could and lived closer. ill eat here at least 5 times a week.. The food was so good, i didn't care how much i paid. I also gave them a 20 dollar tip because that's how satisfied i was with the food and service.

We were there last weekend for Sunday morning Pho, and let me say, it was some of the best I have ever had. The broth was great, the meat in the soup was perfectly thin and tender, and we loved it. If you're in Wichita and need some post-partying food, this is the best thing to have in the morning.

It just doesn't get any better than this place. Great spring rolls. Everything is fresh. Great egg rolls. Best of all, even when it's packed, you aren't elbow to elbow, so the atmosphere is much better than other places.

This place is amazing everytime. The owner always talks to us when were their and asks how everything was. They even remeber what we order and your drink even if its water never even gets to half full. Their menu is second to none.

The reviewers who give this place less than 4 stars are just plain wrong. I love the flavors and there are lots of them. Yes, I do usually put a few dots of shriracha on my food here, but otherwise it's really, really good. Best Asian food in Wichita
