Absolutely fantastic food! And with good reason Jacky has worked at some of the best Asian food joints in town and has now opened up his own spot. My wife wanted to go here a couple weeks back we were out and about today and I decided to look it up on Yelp and found the great rating it has earned! So we decided to try it and let me tell you this is the best sushi I've ever had! I went to Kwan Court, I've been to Hannah's cafe, I've been to Wasabi and this beats all of them hands down!!! You will just have to try it to believe how good it is. The fried rice is excellent also try the Ginger spritzer and have a little bit of the miso soup! The cucumber salad is phenomenal as well. Thank you Jacky!

A quaint sushi Resturant with a big carry out and delivery business. Giant menu with all the Japanese familiars a lunch menu and kn page three Jacky's special recipes You can not go wrong on the sushi which most are fresh off the fish on site. It does not get better It can be a busy little place but I have never experienced a wait but I wouldn't feel inconvenienced if I has to wait for good quality cooking at a reasonable price. Jacky had in expensive dishes around 6.50 as well as party platters that can stretch your dollar if your looking for something unique for your party or event Don't be put off by the diminutive size of the front of the house (seats 24 comfortably) the back of the house is run and owned by an established head chef of a much larger Resturant in town

If I was of Vietnamese descent and got my start working at the Japanese sushi bar of Kwan Cafe, I'd be a little offended at getting assigned the nickname of Hong Kong native Jackie Chan, but not Binh Tran, who moved from Kwan Cafe to Sakura to eventually opening up his own place that in no way is meant to connotate endorsement by the film superstar of similar-but-distinctly-different spelling. While the name sounds a bit like a joke, to their credit, they've put a significant amount of work into the small restaurant, painting and decorating the interior and exterior to feel a little more professional and nicer than you would expect. You might also not expect a $20 bento box to be listed on their lunch menu, but there are other cheaper options available. I just didn't want them. The spicy salmon maki was dominated by cream cheese, the only other ingredient in the roll. The California roll was good, and I liked how the salmon roe gave a little bit of salt, but it was otherwise pretty standard. The salmon, tuna, and albacore were cut a little sloppy and, more importantly, were heavy on the rice wine vinegar that was used to marinate the fish. I'm not big on temaki cones, but the grilled salmon wrapped within was good enough. It was a decent box of food for the money, though with the exception of the temaki it was executed in the most boring way. Wichita's sushi game has changed quite a bit since Kwan Court was at the height of their popularity. Jacky Chan Sushi is still a member of the old guard who's managed to stay in the sushi business for so long thanks to hard work and a decent product. It's not going to take anything away from Wasabi or Kanai, but as a neighborhood sushi restaurant it's good enough.

Very good food!!! The location is a little sketchy and the building very small, but the waiter was very friendly and hospitable. I just got basic California rolls, but they were VERY good! I went for lunch with coworkers who ordered a variety of other selections which they also said was fantastic. Great price for great food! I would definitely visit this spot again in spite of the building and location.

The food was very good and made to order. I would recommend calling ahead if you are going to use the drive thru. I had the #5 chicken and fried rice. The food was warm, flavorful, and spicy. The prices were very reasonable.

I read all the other reviews for this place and just wanted to say I've eaten at this restaurant at least 10 times and they have never lost my order, hell I don't know how they could--- it's literally 8 ft by 20 ft big! It's super clean, the sushi is amazing... Never had the teppanyaki-- my children love the bento boxes. Felt I needed to say that if indeed they lost that man's order he should give them another shot... But My guess is he's an a--hole or he grossly exaggerated his experience there.

Very friendly owner and staff. The food was fresh and good, and the restaurant seems clean. We have followed the owner since he worked at Kwan Court... then Sakura on E. Harry (which we LOVED but which has unfortunately closed). We stopped in here and I didn't expect much from such a small storefront, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. The last time we were there, the server brought out a plate with a sample roll for us.

I just spent a wonderful evening with my wife and son at Jacky Chan. We shared several plates including the Red Dragon, a couple of Andrea Rolls, a Jacky Roll, a Seafood Tempura roll, and couple of others. All of them were fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and engaging and it is very important to them that every part of your evening be perfect. The food, as well as all aspects of the dining experience, make it a "must visit" dinner destination. Wasabi, Sumo, Hana Cafe could all take a lesson from this gem of a restaurant.

Had some chicken fried rice from here today. The price was decent for the amount of food. The rice was good. Not too much soy sauce. A little less flavor than most fried rices I've had but still good. Food was fresh. The people that work here are super friendly. That's a plus with me. We actually had real conversation. Looking forward to trying more stuff here.
