Not bad at all! Their prices are a bit high for my liking, but I've never left Hog Wild still hungry or disappointed in my meal. I recommend the pulled chicken and brisket.

One of (if not the best) BBQ's I have experienced! Perfectly seasoned and smoked with delicious sides. Good bargain for the money spent!!

BEST BBQ EVER!!!!!! I love the rib dinner and the sauce is excellent. If you love BBQ this is the place for you. Just the smell outside will get you're mouth watery. Ever time I come to town I try to make sure and stop here for the best BBQ around. And the people here are very nice. The price is worth the flavor if you haven't tried this place GO you won't regret it.

We eat at several of this restaurants locations. Their bbq is delicious and very affordable. The sauce is so good. I love that their turkey s gluten free and I often get the meat stuffed potato. The kids love it and clean their plates every time. The staff is quick and friendly and the restaurants are clean. Definitely a local favorite.

Our one place we hit every time we are in Wichita. Amazing that the food at a fast food place could be so good. So far we haven't had anything we didn't like.

I did not get a chance to eat here; however they state they deliver but when I called I was informed that it must be for 20 or more people. I was staying at a hotel less than a mile away. They should not be listed as providing delivery.

I was a little cautious about trying this place after reading some of the reviews in which people were sick afterwards, but I thought maybe they were outliers or were sick by coincidence. After eating here with a party of 3, I can confirm that yes, all of us got sick. The first thing I noticed about the place is that it is a little dirty. Pies are slapped carelessly into plastic bins, and everything looks slightly haphazard and unclean. After eating, I felt mildly unsettled, and unfortunately for my two lunch companions this intensified into full-blown GI issues.

First time I have had Hog Wild. A good experience overall. Walking up to the place, you can smell the aroma of meat enticing you to come in. Right away there is a huge menu plastered on the right side of the wall where you take your order. Very easy to read and helpful to figure out what you want to order. I had ordered the two-meat sandwich for $5.99 which I took the pulled pork and beef brisket. My side was Potato Salad for 1.69 and a drink for 1.69. Came out to 10 dollars and some change for the order. The restaurant had an overall clean appearance with a fully stocked soda/condiment setup. Several booths and plenty of seating. Our order only took about 5-10 minutes and my sandwich came loaded. The sandwich was great, because they toasted the bun with butter. It had a little bit of BBQ sauce, and I added some of their sweet BBQ sauce. Very good. The meat was moist and fell apart and the bun was good. Most buns you get with BBQ are weak and get soggy very quickly. The buns provided held up very well. Minimal mess and your hand isn't covered in grease and sauce. Filled me up very well. The Potato salad was a bit of a disappointment in my opinion. It almost tasted like store bought, so I doubt they actually make it themselves. It could use seasoning and chives and a mix of other things to be superior. Honestly their sides aren't that great at all. Now the best part I would say was the table side service. I was not expecting this at all. The lady that helped us was very friendly and refilled our drinks, and even dumped our empty finished trays. I gave them the fifth star because of that alone. Also someone apparently lost something and the manager went around to check if anyone lost anything. That's straight up good and humble honesty to look out for their customers. I'm not sure why some of the other reviews are low. I had an excellent experience. If you're going during lunch time, be prepared for long lines. I happened to show up at open (11am).

Decent Q at a really good price. Sides are so-so. Hot Q sauce really did it for me. But this is about meat, right? Beef was chopped, tender, with medium smoke flavor. Not bad. Pork... ditto above. I expected more tenderness in the pork to be honest. Still fine, though. Ribs were cooked just right for me. Firm... but yielding off the bone with a little pull. Needed a bit more smoke and spice for more stars. This is a 4 star value, though. No regrets eating here.

Disappointment. This is what followed a recent trip to Hog Wiiiiiiiild Pit Bar-B-Q. The largest local chain of BBQ in town? Probably. With 6 locations total, including one in Hutch & Salina. Two Brothers BBQ I believe just caught up with a forth location here in Wichita. But Hog Wild certainly has the higher, continual radio commercial presence, at least that Ive noticed. For whatever reason I just had not given them a shot until recently and regrettably. Lets get the sides out of the way. Baked beans were average, the potato salad was average, and the garlic toast was too butter greasy. What I really came here for was the ribs and a smoked Thanksgiving turkey. The ribs...Blarg......just were not good. Fatty. Greasy. Undercooked. Overall all lacked much taste even with their BBQ sauce already liberally applied and the ribs were uncut, served as a whole half slab, is this a common to-go practice? The next day it was the turkeys turn. For a price of $30, it was the cheaper found in town partially precooked. From the fridge to the oven, is it possible to lose that sought after smoker taste? The bare hint of smoke the finished turkey provided wasn't worth the price to me even for being the cheaper out of the round up. Next year I'll just hit the grocery store.

Just about as varied of barbecue as you can imagine is available at Hog Wild on West street. Service inside is great and you'll get your food MUCH faster than you think. I ordered a three-meat dinner with pulled pork, beef, and pulled chicken. I thought the beef was cooked best and had the best flavor, though the pork was also good. The chicken was very dry and a bit overcooked. I tried the baked beans and curly fries for the sides. The fries were crispy and salty - no complaints. The baked beans were nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, a solid barbecue place, but not something you'll need to have every month. I feel like I got a good value for the money, but it was nothing special. 3/5

Visiting Wichita on a business trip, I went to Hog Wild on the recommendation of one of my hosts. I have to say I was nonplussed by my experience. I had the two meat dinner with the beef brisket and hot links and chose the baked beans and potato salad as my sides. The brisket was finely chopped instead of sliced, so it was hard to tell from sight what quality of meat was there. I spied a few pieces with about a 1/8 inch pink smoke ring, but the flavor just wasn't there. I will say that it was at least somewhere between dry and too moist/fatty, so the right consistency was there, but the flavor was really not. The mild BBQ sauce helped the situation a bit. The hot links had a better flavor but the texture and casing left something to be desired. It was almost like...sausage baloney: over-processed and under seasoned. The baked beans were comparable to canned beans in my opinion, only they were lukewarm instead of hot. The potato salad was nothing to write home about, just ok. I don't know, maybe I'm just spoiled having grown up in Texas and all. I've had much, much better BBQ in the Lone Star State but perhaps this is just the best that Wichita has to offer?

As a native Texan I can be skeptical of BBQ joints and this one passed my tests. The aroma in the place was delicious, prices are super reasonable, and the BBQ was good. Worth a try for sure.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, all of their locations are delicious! Great BBQ! What I miss when in CA. Good variety of sauces. All of their meats & sides have been really tasty. They have Berry Cobbler for dessert.. haven't tried it but it looks good. They also offer a great big baked potato with all the fixin's, meat included if you'd like. I think they also offer a tostada salad with whatever type of meat you'd like on it. MEAT CHOICES: pit-smoked meats of all kinds including beef brisket, pulled pork, ribs, hot links, turkey breast, pulled chicken and pit ham. SIDE CHOICES: Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Cole Slaw, Curley Fries. Order at the counter, they will call you when it is ready. Pickle & pepper bar offered. I checked "delivers" but this is just for catering purposes.

I had good puled pork sandwitch also. Beef brisket was excellent as well. It's saddening that I may not go back to wichita for a while...

This place has delicious pulled pork sandwiches. The pork is very tender and flavorful. Hog Wild also has their own BBQ sauce to add to your sandwich. The pork is served on toasted burger buns and they are so delicious. I didn't try anything else other than their curly fries and they were great too.

The two times I have been to the restaurant on West, I have gotten the runs after eating there, which means to me that they cross contaminate their food or something. I tried it one more time at the behest of my boss who catered it in for a work luncheon and AGAIN got sick. Sorry - I don't care if it tastes the best in the world - if it makes you sick afterward, it isn't worth it.

Love their pulled pork! Love love love! I've eaten at this location a few times, and I'm always satisfied when I leave. We've gotten catering from them before, just ordered a bunch for an event. Both times it was a huge success! I recommend the pulled pork and the chicken. I wasn't too big a fan of their ribs though.
