I like this place, it's pretty inside and the food is usually fresh and hot. It is not the best buffet in town. The best buffet is Buffet City by far, but I am going there for lunch tomorrow lol....

Eww is all I can say! I could not even eat because it smelled like vomit in the whole booth area. We tried sitting in multiple booths but still stunk. I think it was the fish pond in the middle of the restaurant. This place got one star because our server was polite, tentative and friendly.

For now, a "qualified 3", but I'd really have to say 2.5 on first visit. How a place can spend all that money on nice fish tanks and a koi pond and leave cracked and broken floor tile and booth seats that are devoid of cushion and with long cracks in the vinyl, which gives me a less-than-favorable first impression. The hot-table food had a good variety, with varying levels of taste and quality. Most of the standards, pepper steak, black pepper chicken, mongolian beef, were interchangeable from a flavor standpoint. The "spring rolls" were filled with some sort in indeterminate meat-and-veggie paste that wasn't particularly palatable. The "egg rolls" were filled with shredded cabbage and veggies and were hot and crisp, but had a rather strong Chinese mustard flavor, which I like but might be off-putting to some people. The crab rangoon, although small were delicious and crisp. The sushi counter had a nice variety of standard quality sushi rolls, with all the condiments, and nearby was some sort of seaweed "relish", kim chi, and...beef tripe. No, I didn't try it. Didn't try the "hibachi grill" on this visit, but for the price, it would have to be really bad to not justify the cost-savings over the local "mongolian grill" restaurants who charge almost $3 more for one trip through. And on my second visit, I'm going to try the "pho bar", since it's not fair to make a final rating without trying out the other side of the restaurant. Service was satisfactory, the waitress kept the table clear of plates, but didn't bother offering to refill my ice tea until after she brought the check. The ice tea tasted old and was cloudy, so I think next time I'll just drink water and save the $2.

Hubby says place used to be China Cafe 6 island stations 2 tables sets only one open for sushi and hibachi grilling orders. Not sure why sign says " Hibachi Grill Sushi Buffet" I only saw 2 types of sushi, california roll and roll similar with cream cheese Buffet side was normal, but hubby tried the Hibachi Grill and it was pretty good. We think most people come for that since the line was there at the make it yourself noodles area. It was with real steak meat and chicken breast and came out hot. My only disagreement was the sauce he got didn't match completely with our pad sew make shift dish. Across street from Wells Fargo off West St Real ice cream but no coffee and chocolate I saw today, I just had cookies and cream, I guess good enough. There was vanilla and chocolate mint and some others. My hubby's stir fry noodles were better than mine, I think because I told the cook "not too salty" so when I went to pick it up I saw him season with Weber's steak rub, eh not a sauce for noodles.. I wish the sauce used was like seng sweet sauce or something, but I got a steak rub and my steak pieces also my fault because I took 2 slices and requested they cut it up and asked not too salty so the cook must've took that as I'll use steak rub, and the noodles were blah, steak over done, wish I didn't say anything. Located at: 511 west st Wichita, KS 67213 hibachi grill sushi I went on Monday November 15th around 11:30am $14.92 for 2 people buffet lunch

All I can say is EEEEWWWWWW, nasty. The koi pond is not clean, the tables were sticky, the servers are hit and miss. The food selections aren't the greatest. The food is barely lukewarm at best. We have tried this establishment several times and we WILL NOT be going back.

probably the best Asian buffet in wichita right now, and for the price, too. the quality of each buffet here seems to fluctuate as it changes owners. huge selection of food, you can even "make" your own bowl of pho but obviously not the best pho ever sushi is pretty good not many vegetarian options.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
