I order the Gyro combo with a fattoush salad. It's a Greek place in a mall, so I was expecting exactly what I got. A mediocre meal consisting of a mediocre gyro and a fattoush salad that had jarred hamburger pickles and Italian dressing. Not fattoush dressing. In this area I always go to La Monde for my Mediterranean food, but I was grabbing a bite to eat in the midst of shopping for convenience.

The Greek food of my youth was usually shoehorned onto a quick service restaurant menu alongside Chicago-style hot dogs. There was no reason for the two things to go together, and you knew that you weren't getting anything spectacular, but sometimes you just want a gyro. Or as the woman working the counter calls it, a jy-ro. There's so little regard for the food that even the people serving it don't bother to pronounce it correctly. There's no pretense here. They gyro comes from Kronos Foods, the same company that provides the cones of compressed meat you'll find in a majority of gyro places across the country. It's even advertised on the counter next to the register. The consistency is more sausage-like than had they actually put slices of meat onto the rotisserie themselves, but this is easier and cheaper. It's familiar, and not necessarily bad, and cheap, Packed into a soft pita with some light vegetation and you have a gyro that's no better or worse than the others. Perfect food court fare, though underwhelming as Wichita's only Greek restaurant.

I have eaten here several times. It's pretty tasty food. I love the chicken and rice with the side of fattouche salad. The gyros are good. The fries have a nice seasoning. The only dish I don't like is their hummus. It's too grainy, not smooth. If you are in Towne West give them a try.

Food was bland at best, service was not great. Maybe it's because it is a Wednesday afternoon, but not seeing any of the "great flavor" here. My daughter touted that the ketchup was the best part of our meal (Hunts packets). I will not be coming back to overpay for flavorless food.

The gyros were decent. Good flavor and filling portions. The fries tasted freezer burned, the salad was mediocre, and the hummus tasted prepackaged. If you come with a restaurants.com gift certificate, the owner refuses to accept it.

I don't write a lot of Yelp reviews but when I saw Greek Plus had only 1 star, I thought I would say something. I've eaten at a lot of Greek/Mediterranean places in town and I will say the best Gyro in town is at Greek Plus. The meat is cut off into big pieces and and it's well seasoned and succulent. They also give you a lot of meat, where other places in town won't. The tziatziki sauce is flavorful and isn't too cucumber-y and the pita is flaky and warm. Somethings in the other review are true, sometimes the service hasn't been great in the past but the last few times I've been they've been attentive and helpful. And as far as authenticity goes, sure it's in a mall and the primary side is fries but what they lack in authenticity they make up in taste and value. They fries aren't too bad either, they are always fresh and never greasy. One critique I will give is to stay away from the hummus. it tastes like it comes from a can.

Not good. I ordered the grilled cheese. It comes with soda and fries. This joint is located in the town west mall. It is more American than Greek. Their menu is filled with items like grilled cheese, chicken strips, burgers. They do sell gyros though. My grilled cheese took about 4 minutes. It came out being 1/2 an inch thick. Yes 0.5 inches thick. They took a two slices of white bread, slapped a slice of American cheese on it, and squished it between a warm panini press. Then they served up some soggy crinkle school lunch cut fries and threw in 3 packets of ketchup. It was quite miserable. There's probably a reason no one was in line other than me. I should have taken hint. The service was equally depressing. I stood there for a minute with Ino one helping me. Then someone shows up from the back and stands there by the register. He doesn't ask me for my order or if he could help me or asks me what he can get me...he just stands there and stares at me..unsmiling. I order my meal and he grabs a small cup for soda and then stands behind the soda machine...I tested his will and won because I stared back, fully realizing he wanted to know what kind of soda I wanted. But I wanted to hear him to ask...outloud. After a little while he asked, but very quietly. Yes! Anyways, this place is a dump and ought to be avoided at all costs. Don't let the low prices fool you. It's not worth it. I was hungry. Thank goodness, otherwise I don't think I could have stomached it. I hate wasting food you know.
