Extremely loud and we were in the dining room. We had to yell to hear each other. I asked to turn it down, they agreed and then pretended to turn it down. Extremely slow service. Tortilla chips were extremely old. Asked for fresh ones and were brought more old chips. We all ordered different meals and yet each meal gave us upset stomachs. We sat there for awhile after eating, the server came by to ask us if we needed anything and seemed surprised when I requested the check. Will not be going back.

I love the atmosphere, It's a great place to go sit w/ some friends if you're "of age" which I am not...soooo until i'm 21 i think i'll give it a miss, the food isnt worth the money and they ruined my birthday cake a year or so back. Also the managment is terrible

Well i will have to give them credit for having an amazing looking establishment! Im here on fight night and had tonoay a cover charge of $25 fot myself and my friend anf i was very impressed with how nice it was, the bouncer at the door was awesome, the cashiers were friendly. We finally got a seat, took a while to get. Server however we oedered drinks all was fine until we ordered food, then we got or app waited for utensils, napkins and our aauce for at the very minimum 30 mins. After a while i got tired of waiting as our wings were sitting getting colder and colder...never got asked if we wanted more drinks, when our waitress finally came she retrieved my glass without even asking if i wante another beer? If i were the owner i would like to make money not only from the cover charge but from the guests food and beverages as well. Being that im visiting from California and i come to visit often i feel because my waitress is so disconnected and unattentive that i wont recommend this place to anyone. In this type of industry you really need to pay attention and know your clientelle. I came to have a good time! Spend money and i cant as she hasnt even asked if we need food!?! i dont think i needed to get up and find the bouncer to get my utensils or my sauce but it was nice of him to help! He should get the tips from my waitress as i look around im not the only one unsatisfied with the service! Im not at all happy with this place and i cant even find a manager to speak to him. Service is eveything is you want customers to come back and i cant even get a water!

Slow service was my problem here! It took over 10 minutes to place an order for drinks 15 minutes to get them. I was 10 foot from the bar also. Then the server said if you want to order food we are running about 20 minutes behind on food orders right now. I said just bring me my check which took another 10 minutes. Sorry but won't return back to F&H again.

This is a great sports bar pub to take a load off and watch the game. They have a short selection of good cigars, and a room for cigar smokers. There is a non-smoking section that is geared for family dining also. Billards and a few arcade games are available. Waiters and waitresses may not be a quick as you like in the dining area. You may have to wait a few minutes to get a refill or another beer.

Fox & Hound would be described best as an upscale sports bar. It's interior is adorned in dark woods and large televisions everywhere. The booth seating is wrapped in leather, as well as the tablet itself. The place itself is very large and can accommodate a lot of people. When the 3 of us walked in, we were greeted by some friendly, and beautiful waitresses. Our waitress seemed fairly knowledgeable with the different types of beer they had on tap. Which is always good, because sometimes you run into wait staff that don't know and need to look at a card to give you an answer. I had one of their big beers with Newcastle. Their pricing is a bit expensive and similar to Old Chicago, so about 6-8 dollars. Which is honestly a bit too much. The menu items were about as standard as any sports bar. Lots of deep fried finger foods, with burgers and steaks. I ordered the beer battered chicken fingers which were about 8.99 I believe. Our food took about 20-30 minutes to get to our table. The food and the general reaction from everyone was, that it was mediocre. Chicken fingers were good, but were honestly a bit flavorless. It could have used some seasoning like black pepper at least. It came served with honey mustard which looked to be made in house. I felt full, but my 2 other friends said they were still hungry after eating it all. So maybe portions aren't as large as you would expect for the prices you pay. I had 1 friend come in late, and the waitress accommodated him, but his experience wasn't as good. She took a lot longer to get his beer order, and when he ordered his food, she brought out the wrong item and failed to input the correct order, which took an additional 15-20 minutes. Is this place any special? Not really. It's just like any other sports bar, except this one has a better interior that's a bit classier. The drinks are a bit too expensive and the food and service is mediocre.

I went there for the first time for the Pacquiao - Bradley rematch. We got there later than we wanted and had to get seated in the outdoor smoking area because all of the inside seating for the fight was already occupied. It wasn't too bad, most of those nasty smokers were in the opposite side from us. The server for the area was a nice young lady, the food was good. Chips & salsa for our app and the ultimate burger for me and a spicy dip with celery for my girl. We enjoyed our food and the drinks were good and strong lol. We'll be back for the next PPV fight (Mayweather - Maidana in May) but next time we'll get there earlier ;)

Party atmosphere, okay food. Not many upscale bars have Drunk Jenga, beer pong, darts and pool. Really beautiful facility with hardwood floors and wall panels, smooth lighting and plush booths and chairs. Great selection of beers though, with really good daily deals. The noise and service makes this bar at most a three though.

We were sat right away and our server was good. It started a little rocky but after that it was great and she was fun. Food was just A-ok though.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! It's Halloween and there are maybe 10 patrons in this place and a group of 5 walked in just before me. I sat next to this group. I sat there for 10 minutes and NOT one waitress came to my table, however she served the table RIGHT in front of me! She looked right at me turned around at went to sit at a table with the hostess and another waitress to continue their ohhh so important conversation.... I got up and left, walked over to Abuelos and got great service and spent almost $50 total on drinks and meal. I'm disappointed because I'm a regular at fox and hound in KC. Fox and Hound you screwed up. I'm here every 3 weeks and travel and eat on company $$$. I'll never come here again! Fire your B team , or if that was your A team working then there's no hope! By the way the waitress in the Halloween cop outfit is your culprit. ARREST her please.

I live in Kansas City and am familiar with Fox and Hound in Overland Park, a cornucopia of great beer on tap, decent food offerings and acceptable service. For this reason, I was looking forward to my trip to the Fox and Hound in Wichita. The food was fine (I ordered a grilled steak salad) and there was even a "free" food table with pizza and wings. And the waitresses were affable: that's where the goodness ends, however. I ordered a Smithwicks, which they were out of. So I ordered a Stella Artois, which tasted exactly like Natural Light and was a little warm. It took about 15 minutes to get the second beer order in after my group finished round 1. Next, I ordered a Leinenkeugel, which they were ALSO out of. So I ordered a Boulevard Wheat. It took another 15-20 minutes to arrive, and when it did it tasted and looked like Miller and there was no lemon. And of course, it was warm. I tastes a friend's "Heineken". Which tasted just like warm PBR with dish soap added in. Yuck! Another side note which the fuzz should be interested in: one of the guys in our party looks about 15: not only did the waitress not card him, she said something like, "oh, we never card anybody here.". OK, way to be responsible, Fox and Hound. Unless a party atmosphere and hot waitresses are all you're looking for in a bar experience (or if you're a 12 year old looking to get shit canned), do yourself a favor and skip Fox and Hound Wichita. The rest of it sucks big time.

We've been coming here regularly for football for over 3 years. Great TV set-up and consistently awesome service (with few exceptions) keep us coming back. The food choices are good and the prices are reasonable.

Goodness. This place gets a one because of it's HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. I've gone twice in the pass two weeks because I thought it was just a fluke the first time, but the waitresses there really don't want to get tipped or something.... Other than that, their wings are really amazingly good. Well to be specific, the Spicy Garlic flavor is. I've tried some other flavors but Spicy Garlic takes the cake! It's the spiciest one there but it'll be worth it. I'd go there more often if I actually got served and if my table wasn't left without drink refills for like 10 minutes(spicy wings + no water = D:)

I was at F&H Thursday, 3/22 with my wife and two other couples. Our waitress mentioned that it was her 2nd day of working. She obviously didn't have a good grasp of the F&H order system but that could have been remedied if the manager had given her some help. She was definitely floundering. Also, she wasn't very good at customer service. "What beers do you have on tap?" I asked. "I don't know", she answered. We looked at each other for a minute before I realized she wasn't going to check and get back with me. She called everyone "hun" or "bud" which was annoying to some of our party. She was an excessive toucher. A little I can tolerate. This was way too much. Service was slow. We sat down at 6 PM and left at 8:45 PM. Drinks were slow in coming or didn't get to our table at all. I had a cuban sandwich which was good. It came with fries - about ten of them. I suggest either leaving the fries off or give a decent portion. A couple of people in our party ordered steaks. They were undercooked and not good. Our waitress actually said "I could have told you not to get a steak here. If you want a steak you go to a steak house." On the good side, in addition to my sandwich, the beer was good. I had a Boddingtons, which was on tap (finally stumbled a across the draught list), and a Free State Oatmeal Stout (bottle). Waitress brought the bottle but no beer glass. Had to ask for that. After our horrible experience the manager did waive our bill. That was nice but I don't think I'll be back unless just to grab a beer at the bar.

Tonight my girlfriend nearly swallowed a 2-inch shard of glass in her drink while we were here. Thankfully, she caught it in her teeth, and we notified a waitress, who brought over a shift manager. Gary, the shift manager, proceeded to joke, "Oh you won the prize!" He said he would buy us "a couple of beers" and walked away. I wanted to take a picture of the glass, but the waitress threw it away before I had a chance. We then went to find the general manager, because we couldn't believe how Gary had blown off the situation. The GM said he would talk to Gary and get things settled. We did not see either manager until we were trying to pay our tab and leave, and noticed that nothing had been comped on our tab. We then tried to track down Gary, who claimed that he had apologized, but we hadn't heard "because several people were yelling at him." The GM then came over and offered to cover our tab, which was less than $20. For a situation that carried such a significant potential for serious injury, a couple half-hearted apologies isn't sufficient to satisfy us or eliminate the consideration of a lawsuit. Throughout the whole ordeal, the only person who actually seemed concerned was our waitress. The management at this place is a complete joke, and they could care less for the safety of their patrons.

Fox & Hound is a good place to grab some drinks and watch a game/fight. I am visiting Wichita KS and wanted to find a place to watch the Pacquiao v. Mosley Fight with was aired on Showtime PPV. Luckily I found Fox & Hound. They had a projector screen setup as well as many other TV's. IN addition to the bar area they also had 2 separate rooms showing the fight. However, there was a $15 cover to watch the fight. Fox & hound has a good selection of beers on tap as well as decent food. I had the Hot BBQ wings and a French Dip, both were pretty good. The service was also very good. The waitress checked on me several times throughout the fight to make sure I always had a full beer and had all the food I wanted.

I was in town on a business trip with a colleague who had been here before and gave it a good review. He spoke so highly of the place that I was looking forward to the experience. Sadly, I was very disappointed. When we entered we were offered a choice between the dining and bar areas. We chose one of the high "semi booth" tables in the bar area. When we sat we noticed that the table had not been wiped after the previous diners had left. When the server arrived she took our drink order, but seemed to not even notice that the entire table was wet and had crumbs all over it. When she came back with our drinks I asked for some napkins to clean the table, and she cam back with napkins, but again failed to take any notice of the table's dirty state. Also, no coasters for the drinks. No wonder the table was a wet mess. My colleague took a sip of his drink and commented that he had not been given what he ordered. We called the server back to the table and explained that the bartender must have made an error. She argued and read back our drink order. We both agreed that she had indeed written down the correct order, but that is not what we had received. She took the drink away and came back with a fresh one, this time correct. We then ordered an appetizer of soft pretzel sticks with queso, $8. What arrived were four good sized soft pretzel sticks with a thimble sized cup of cheese. Enough for about one stick. What a bargain. I ordered the the "Famous French Dip Au Jus," with fries, $12. When the food arrived to the table I saw a decent looking sandwich and about ten french fries. Again, thanks for the bounty. I sampled the sandwich, which was very good actually. Props to the cooks. I then dipped the sandwich in the au jus and immediately realized that it was out of a can, or worse a powdered package. What a shame. Such a well cooked beef to only be ruined by a nasty, processed excuse for au jus. There is no excuse for this. But all of the other problems aside, the worst part of the experience was having a stream of the restaurant's servers proceed to sit and stand at the table behind us chatting and bad-mouthing customers and employees alike with a friend sitting at the adjacent table. In all, a forgettable experience. I wish I had seen the other poor ratings here before wasting my money at this establishment. I will not be back.

With a name like 'Fox and Hound', I had high hopes for some British or Irish fare. No luck, however. The menu was fairly pedestrian with a selection reminiscent of [insert large chain sports bar]. Nothing really stood out. Not even the fish and chips. I ordered the cheesesteak only to be disappointed by the lack of flavor. I ended up dousing my sandwich with the house horseradish sauce, but it couldn't salvage the sandwich. With that, I can think of no good reason to return. I tried several other items that came to the table, and would recommend none.

Sometimes I really dislike Yelp! I try to be as positive as I can. I want to give places the benefit of the doubt, when I can. But sometimes the two do not mix. As is the case tonight. I have to say first off I wish Yelp had ratings for different things. For example, the food tonight was good. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, my wife had a sandwich and son had the kids chicken. All of it was tasty and cooked very well. If I could rate food, It would be a five. However, food is not available for rating. As almost all of the other reviews of Fox & Hound have pointed out, the service there is abysmal. I have been here 5 times, twice at noon on weekdays, I think that if you go for lunch they want to take care of their business clientele, so they work hard at getting good servers then. I have also been there twice on a weekday evening and another on a weekend evening (tonight). I think that on those times, if you are going to the bar to drink and watch TV, you are taken well care of. A lot of servers in that area chatting with the customers. However, if you have a family and want to eat in the dining room they could care less about you. When we walked in tonight, the hostess did the following... smiled at my wife and saw me, but not my son who was behind her. She said two tonight? My wife answered three, stepped aside to see my son was with us, the smile went away instantly with an oh, right this way coming from her. Same thing happened last time we went there with the fam. Once seated the waitress was immediately there to take our drink order. In the time she was gone, I opened the kids menu and figured out what my son was having. She came back and was ready to take our order. I am talking maybe 90 seconds total. My wife asked for more time, to which she gave us maybe 90 more seconds. It took quite a while for the sandwich, burger & chicken to come out 20+ minutes. Which if they were busy would be understandable. However, at no time were there more than 8 people in the dining room across three tables. When it finally arrived, although it tasted great the bottom bun of my burger was extremely soggy, from sitting so long. This waitress filled my wife's ice tea once and nothing for my son or I, until after I finished my meal and she finally came and refilled my water. She took our plates, and we waited about 5 more minutes. She returned to ask if we wanted desert. We said no. She turns to walk off and my wife had to ask her for our check. Her reply oh... yeah sure. The Manager did come to ask if everything tasted good. We were honest. I wanted so bad for her to ask how EVERYTHING was. I would have asked her if she has ever looked at their Yelp page. If I had the balls, I would have. Maybe someone else will do it for me, because I highly doubt I will go back.

Had a coed baby shower here and if was quite a success. Reserved the patio area and everyone had a great time. The service was pretty good, the food tasty. I had Jamaican chicken, little dry but the sauce and rice were good. Funny moment, the server asked to refill my drink and I said I had ginger ale. Her response was, "How do I make that?" I looked at her perplexed and asked if she was serious. I wasn't trying to be a snob but I was so shocked? I was polite and said it was a soda like Sprite. Hehehe! I hope she didn't spit in my drink. Nice a place to grab a drink, some food and catch a game. Located on the Waterfront.

Finally talked my 2 gf's to go here after work Friday - the parking lot was packed so I had to wait for a space - I think the 3 restaurants sharing one large lot is doesn't help the parking situation, but once inside it was great - the crowd was very diverse - not too young or old, good atmosphere - great place to watch a game and snack on some bar food - I had a chicken, avocado and something wrap and was pleasantly surprised - my gfs' had the french dip and a burger and both really liked theirs as well. Just wish the offered a larger selection of wines - I ended up going cheap and had the house red - hey after the first glass, who cares... but I just wish and that it wasn't served above the room temperature. Other than that this would be a great casual date place and I really like the total separation of nonsmoking and smoking bars - I'm happy I didn't come home smelling like a cigarette (and have to fabreez my hair). I definitely fits the bill for a good after work place to get a drink and snack - someone on here suggested this place to me on the message board - so thanks for that! I cannot speak to the restaurant side - don't even know what the menu holds - but the quality of the food in the bar was really good - so I'd definitely try it sometime.

My favorite thing to order here is the thin crust basil pesto appetizer pizza, but I've recently converted to the mini pot roast sliders. How can you NOT love a dish that comes with a tree of, like, six different kinds of barbecue sauces? I suggest the "gold" sauce. It's basically mustard mixed with BBQ and it's the best idea since sliced bread.

I really like this place. It's an all entertainment affair :) food is good here. They've got excellent desserts and also got a little cigar chateau. Of course, a great place to watch sports. My buddies and I caught the semis for the World Cup Soccer here last year and had tons of fun. It was here that I tried Red Bull with orange juice and cranberry juice and apple juice while watching one of the games. I was charged afterwards lol...

The service here was great. The server seemed to really enjoy her job and that made the meal much more pleasant. The food however, was nothing all that great. I tried the host recommended fish and chips. While the chips were decent (though a bit over salted in some cases) the fish was not good at all. I should have expected that from a landlocked city, but somehow other places seem to make do. My business partner had the Black Forest sandwich and said it wasn't really all that great either. Maybe we went on an off night, but overall I would pass on a return to the Fox and Hound.

Wow. We are here to watch OU'S opening game along with many other OU fans. What a phenomenal disappointment. The place is filthy. They are out of turkey....which my husband ordered the "signature dish" sandwich made with turkey....NOT. I ordered naked chicken fingers....what a huge rip off. And last but not least our waitress, sweet, but not the sharpest tool in the shed and service was POOR. I won't be back.....ever!

I entertained some guests here last night. We ordered a few appetizers and some drinks. I wasn't too impressed with the wings or the naked chicken tenders we had. However, the staff and bartender were great. The atmosphere was perfect! We all had a great time. I'll be back.

Beers were not full when ordered. Beers took over 15 min. to be delivered to our table. We asked for napkins 30 min ago, still waiting... the chips and queso was made with nacho cheese, milk, and Rotella. Couldn't even splurge on some Velveeta? 1 star though because the HOEstess was pretty hot!

I ordered the "mile-high" nachos and a Sam Adams Rebel IPA. The "mile-high" nachos themselves were actually okay...once I got them to add all of the toppings that are actually advertised on their menu. The server originally brought out a plate of dry-ass nachos with hard cheese, five or six jalapenos, and a dripping of sour cream. It had no queso or chili. In my head I was like WTFIT!!? Are you serious? For $10.99, I was expecting more. I asked the server where was the chili She had the nerve to tell me that it's under the chips and is sometimes hard to see. We're both looking at the plate of nachos at this point. So I lifted up a bunch of the chips. And there wasn't a speck of chili to be seen. So she whisked them away back to the kitchen. Almost ten minutes later, they bought out a "new" plate of nachos. There was chili on them. Ok. The nachos were then a little more edible. I still didn't see any queso. She told me that it was mixed in with the cheddar cheese on top. I told her that queso used for nachos is usually a liquid. By that time I was starving, and I told her to forget about the queso. By then I was tired of her lame BS excuses. And I noticed there was only a splattering of sour cream, no queso, and just a few pieces of pico de gallo. Knowing it would take them forever to bring out more nachos, I smartened up and asked for a side of pico de gallo AND a side of the sour cream. The guy from the kitchen surprised me when he showed up and asked if I had everything I wanted. I told him I was good. I finally got to eating half of the nachos. I took the rest home and ate them later. I probably won't go back.

These stars are for our waitress Tiffany. She was great! The food was good but nothing special necessarily... I've seen a lot of reviews saying the service is poor, it won't be if you have her :) I didn't give 5 because of the food :/

Fox and Hound Wichita epitomizes what happens when new management comes in and makes a great sports bar a terrible bar. I was there the day it opened; I was part of the personalized mug club and the whole nine yards. We came here regularly throughout our mid to late 20s and into our 30s. Great food. Great service, great TVs. We had birthday parties here, anniversary parties, reunions, etc. I can't even fathom how much myself and the group I hung with spent on beer and wings at this establishment. Then... Management changed. The mug club was gone. Mugs disappeared forever, regardless of the fact that the mugs were rightfully owned by the mug owners and not the bar...we did pay $25 for the mug and membership. The specials reserved for mug club members...gone. No grand champion wing discount. No birthday appetizer. Now, the "hot shot" or "bullseye" or some other nonsense club was introduced. Were the previous mug club members granted any type of advancement on their new "point" system, even though money was given previously? Nope. Screw you guys, said Fox and Hound. Allegiance to the regulars that supported the business over the previous decade were forgotten and spat upon. Tv and projector technology changed in the world but the Fox stayed the same lo-def junk. I could watch a game more clear in my garage. It was almost as if Fox was purposely trying to alienate customers. Food plummeted in quality, beer was raised in price. So, we found a new bar. One where hi-def sports and us beer-swilling patrons were put first. One where our money and love of sports in bars meant something. Now, I did actually go back about six months ago. Maybe it had changed. I had read about the parent corp. filing of chapter whatever, to reassess and protect while they reorganize. Maybe they had realized the error of their ways and would embrace me with a long forgotten, beer-soaked hug. It was a Sunday, NFL football on the tv. I was maybe one of six total people in the restaurant, and the only patron in the bar area. I sat down, ordered a beer and asked them to turn off the music video and turn on the game on the big screen and to also turn on the game sound. I was told that they didn't do that, but I could sit in a back room and watch the game there. Adios, Fox. You were a friend to me...a friend that became a born-again douchebag. Two stars for our history...and you're lucky I had that much compassion.

I've only been here once but the food was not that great...everyone warned me, since we were only there for drinks but I was hungry and ordered anyways. I'm not tempted to go back, the pizza I ordered had no taste and it was really a chore to eat. The only thing I do like about this place is their two dollar pint nights. The beer is good and they have a lot of interesting mixes, but DO NOT get the snakebite. They mix Guinness and Woodchuck for an absolutely horrible experience.

Had a group of 12 there on Sunday afternoon, 1/17/2010. The place is ok (clean, lots of room). Our server was probably average but clearly could not keep up with our party and what ever else she had...although the place was only about 1/3 full. The food was ok, would have been better if it arrived hot and in a more timely fashion. It took us forever to get bar drinks refilled and even longer to get our tabs at the end.
