I came here with my Grandson about 11:15am. Although he's only 8 -- he has a pretty big appetite. So when our Server 'Melissa' grabbed a Child's Menu -- I asked her to please grab an Adult Menu for him, as well. He had cereal with his Mom before coming over to my house -- but knowing how much he LOVES breakfast -- I suggested that he look at the breakfast menu. 'Melissa' asked for our beverage order and I ordered their Iced Tea and my Grandson requested Root Beer. My Grandson decided on the Cinnamon Pancakes Slam with Scrambled Eggs, Sausage and Hash Browns. I got their Bourbon Bacon Burger, which has Grilled Onions and Mushrooms with Bacon and some kind of Bourbon BBQ Sauce. She verified that I wanted French Fries, which I didn't, and she happily substituted a salad for me. She told me their salad dressing selection and I asked if they had 1000 Island dressing and she said that she was pretty sure that they had it -- but if not, she'd be back. My Grandson and I chatted while waiting for our order. He made some comment about the booths being kind of small and I said that the restaurant was in need of a remodel and THEN realized the Manager was sitting at the next table with a laptop -- doing some paperwork. I wasn't being mean, it reminded of the Denny's from my Hometown and it needs updated, but it's very clean and THAT'S what counts!! Our order came and it was exactly what we asked for. My Grandson DEVOURED every bite!! My Burger LOOKED beautiful, but had a weird metallic taste -- not sure why, maybe the mushrooms were canned (?) or maybe that 'Bourbon' sauce was. I cut it in half, because it was pretty big and only ate half and brought the second half home for my Pup (she picked off the mushrooms!!). My salad was delightful with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, grated cheese and 1000 Island dressing. Believe it or not, I judge a restaurant by their 'House Salad'. I almost always forego the fries or the rice or the ?? for a 'House Salad'. My Iced Tea was refilled and the check was brought promptly. Seeing that I had half a Burger left -- she brought a 'To Go' box (made my Puppy a very Happy Girl :) ). I would also like to say that these Servers worked EXTREMELY well as a Team. They cleaned the tables together and rang up each others orders asking about the TIP for the other Server -- WELL DONE, Ladies :)

If you like only getting 1/2 of what the meal looks like in the menu then come here. You'd think you would lose some weight but with the majority of the skillets being potatoes then you're at a loss. Might as well just get a medium fry at McDonald's for a fraction(1/8th) of the price. Service was also under par. The manager is nice however, so I'll throw'em the extra star.

If there isn't another choice, it's better than starving. Went here for dinner once, service was rude and slow, food was cold. I don't ask for 4 star dining at Denny's, but I do expect them to be able to cook eggs and serve them warm. That's a bridge to far at this Denny's. Staff clearly knows they aren't very good as they stand around glaring at customers and each other. It finally reached to point of being funny. Get dinner at the nearby LQ, the food is better, almost as cheap and the staff is loads friendlier!

The food took forever to come out, bacon was poopy as crap, but even worse they got our order wrong! This place is a awfully! Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches were better than this. But at least we got it for free because they messed up so much.

I usually love Denny's, but what a disappointment. Flies all over the place, slow service and the food was cold. Really made me think about eating at Denny's again! Try iHOP around the corner. Place was packed, but food was good and service very nice. Much cleaner too.

Great service at this Denny's.

I normally expect the Denny's atmosphere and service to be tolerable...but this time...I think not! I don't want to make it a racial thing because I'm hoping that it wasn't....so here's the story: I took a last minute trip to Wichita Falls, TX Dec. 6, because of a passing of a family member and I decided to take the 4 hour drive up to Wichita, KS to visit my sisters too. I was only there for 2 days because I had to get back to TX but I wanted to spend time with my nieces and nephews that I haven't seen in some years. Long story short...the last day we were in town me my kids and my nephew and niece (who were all under 10 years) decided to go to Denny's since we were tired of going to those Asian buffets. It was as we walked in that Monday morning there was a wait (of course we expected that!) But other people who entered the restaurant after us were seated well before use. We waited approximately 42 minutes before being seated. Now normally I would have just left the place as soon as someone else was seated before us...but the kids were hungry and we had to keep with a schedule in order race across town to watch "A Christmas Carol" in 3D on time. So we stayed. NO ONE took our drink order for about 20 minutes!!! WTF!?! Seriously?...They all knew I was pissed the F**K OFF! I had kids all up in my ear telling me they were hungry and as I was getting ready to leave the waitress finally decided to bring her happy ass over to take a damn drink order. I said, "Lady, I've been waiting here for the last hour now and still haven't gotten served. I will stay if you can promise me that the food we order will be ready in the next 15 minutes or else I'm better off going to McDonald's." She apologized (obviously) and said that it wouldn't take any longer than that to get our order out to us. So we stayed, we ordered our drinks first and she was about to walk away..."Excuse me! We've already been sitting here for the last 20 minutes and waiting 40 minutes before that, I'm pretty sure we're ready to order!" I was such a BI***! But dammit they deserved it! The server brought us our food within 20 minutes of ordering...I still wasn't happy. I felt like we were being rushed out and couldn't even enjoy my damn food without that waitress checking in on us every 3 minutes (LITTERALLY!) We left a mess...NO TIP! I'm so disappointed in them and am very grateful I'm back home in San Diego. Denny's isn't the finest breakfast place there is but at least here in San Diego they are a little more considerate and courteous! TOTAL (waste) of time spent here: 2hrs 57mins
