I have been here three times so far. First to have lunch with an old school friend. She recommended it and I'm so glad she did! We had the chicken shwarma hummus.. oh wow! So delicious, the chicken was especially great. The portion size was very large with plenty of soft and crunchy pita chips to dip with. I had a sm salad (can't remember which one but it was delicious) and chicken lasagna.. both excellent. The second time I went was just for a snack while out shopping. I again had the Chicken Schwarma hummus (took most of it home). The third time was just a couple weeks ago. I had the Greek salad and Pasta Carbonera... ziti w a creamy white sauce, bacon and other things I can't remember. It was mmm mmm good! I definitely recommend this place. Yes, the staff is very friendly.

Nice selection of Mediterranean cuisine. I like their Greek salad, mushroom soup, and falafel. Although I find their hummus too runny, it is some of the better hummus I have had. Excellent Chai tea, perfect temperature when it was brought to the table. Wonderful wait staff and service. Also - not as many vegetarian items on the menu as I would have hoped for and somewhat lacking variety in the fish department. Main drawbacks - small location and terrible parking. Carpooling to this location is must if you have large groups.

Looking for some place different and stopped in on a whim. Great hummus!! Gyros were decent. Loved the tzaziki sauce. Chicken gumbo was not gumbo, but had a good flavor. Kid's cheese pizza was home made and great. Good service. Will definitely try it again.

Bella Luna is definitely one of my favorite spots in town. It'd be a crime for anyone to leave without trying the Hummus & Pita. It's consistently the best hummus I've ever had and they provide a generous amount of both pita bread and chips. I always get the Pasta Carbonara with chicken, It's amazing. The recipe is nothing too groundbreaking, just the traditional cavatapi pasta tossed with crisp bacon, peas, mushrooms and Pecorino Romano cheese in a creamy Alfredo sauce. But they seem to do it better than anywhere else I've had. I'm always torn between the Pasta Carbonara and the Pasta Diablo, which is just as delicious as everything else on the menu, but it's hard to top my usual. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is fairly small but I've never had to wait too long to be seated. They have a few outdoor seats available for the few days when Kansas gives us patio weather.

This really was the best hummus I've ever had. And that's saying something, since I seek out good hummus all over the place! We had a great meal here. The pita was also great - nice and thick! For lunch, I ordered the chicken shawarma, and it was delicious. I loved all the flavors, and the spices were just right. I have a favorite shawarma at every mediterranean place I frequent, and this is right up there with my favorites. I selected a salad for my side and I'm so glad I did - it was delicious, especially the balsamic dressing. I also really liked the tea, which was kind of tropical iced tea. But the best part was our server. Rebecca was friendly and helpful. I spilled a little of the dressing on my blouse, and since I was staying in a hotel and not able to go straight home and put it in the wash, I asked for club soda. She brought me soda and a clean towel from the kitchen, realizing that a napkin wouldn't cut it. She was so sweet, and she had the absolute sweetest voice. They are lucky to have her!

Just yelping for a place to go for lunch and I happened to stumble upon this middle eastern joint. Although the restaurant itself doesn't feel middle eastern but more mediterranean. The menu itself doesn't seem to resemble middle eastern either except for the shwarma or hummus. I ordered the chicken au poivre, which is grilled chicken with peppercorn sauce served with rice and some grilled vegetables. It took a bit of awhile to make but when it came out it looked and smelled delicious. When I took that first bite that chicken and the sauce just hard a party in my mouth! The grilled veggies also joined the party and my entire mouth was going crazy with flavors! It was a bit salty but the squeeze of lemon cuts that saltiness of the dish. I highly recommend this dish and I would definitely come back to try the other entrees!

Good food; the Kobe beef hamburger is yummy! The Chicken Shwarma is awesome with the homemade pita chips & bread! The Fatoocsh salad never disappoints.

Very good food, spectacular service, waitress very personable but seemed a bit forced, just my opinion. little pricey only real downfall. fifty bucks for lunch for three people seems a bit steep. three entrees, one appetizer.

What a nice ending to a great day! I am rating this 5 stars based on the most excellent service from Chris at the bar. I was happy from the moment I walked in, then a nice couple sat beside me at the bar for dinner, they were absolutely wonderful and I look forward to seeing them, and Chris again! I had the seafood trio and was really happy with almost everything. My only less than 100% happy comment is the "crabstix" that were added to the trio. I would MUCH prefer no crabmeat vs fake crabmeat in an otherwise perfect dish. The sauce on this dish will make you crazy, I think it must have crack in it cause I am addicted and am already planning my next visit. Add perfect service with an almost perfect dish, and a great environment to totally enjoy it in; yeah, I'm a regular for sure!

This place used to be a family favorite. We have unfortunately had bad service and poor food experience lately. We ordered Mediterranean chicken pizza and hummus. We got a dead fly on the pizza. My daughter in law first thought it was a stray black olive. But after realizing it was a dead fly,she was grossed out. Called for the manager. Never came by. The waitress was totally unmoved by it. Didn't even apologize! We just didn't let the child the pizza was ordered for eat that slice. Hummus had way too much parsley on it- especially since we asked for NO parsley. The waitress also tried to fill my tea glass with water and refilled my husband's Pepsi glass with Dr Pepper! To say that we are disappointed is an understatement! We have deleted Bella Luna from our favorite go to places.

Bella Luna is so good! The service is great, and the place is decorated nice. I would totally recommend!

It's not that Bella Luna doesn't serve good food...it's not that the service at Bella Luna isn't good either...it's just that Bella Luna is - well - just plain good. Sure the hummus is smooth and creamy (and topped with paprika and pine nuts) and the fries are golden and crisp with a flakey outer crust and together they're good. But the pita falls a bit flat in the most literal sense. It's not fluffy and warm; it's more like somebody forgot the yeast and made a chewy flat bread. But good is 3-stars, not 4, not 5. Just 3. So if you're looking for good "Mediterranean" food, Bella Luna is your spot. You won't be disappointed, and carry out is always a fine option. But you won't be super blown away either.

N & J's hummus and chicken shwarma are better, & the lunch crowd here is fierce. Lovely servers, good wine specials, but they need to take two or three tables out of their dining area. Your neighbors WILL BE in your personal 3 ft bubble.

My wife and I really enjoy dining at Bella Luna. The service is almost always quick and attentive, and we've never had a bad meal there. Don't miss items include the mushroom soup, the Bella Maggi salad, and the Gyro sandwich. They have a sampler platter of appetizers that is tasty and a good way to go if you have a few people in your party.

I love local, and that is exactly what Bella Luna Cafe is! Walking in, my favorite thing to do is scope out a spot in the cozy dining room, as it's seat yourself. The menu is not huge, but offers a wide variety of Mediterranean and American dining options. The hummus is the best I've ever had, and this is also my favorite place to get a caesar salad. On top of their usual menu, they always offer great specials for dinner, that have clearly been created with a great deal of thought. My fiance, who is not a huge fan of mediterranean food, always finds something he enjoys off their menus.

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
