Juli’s Coffee and Bistro Menu

Local gem, great atmosphere, inconsistent food at times. Sandwiches and breakfast are always a solid choice, specials tend to be hit and miss but you have to give it to them for mixing up the menu. Would definitely be in their best interest to get on board with a local brewery and offer options on tap.

Juli's is one of the few good restaurants in downtown. It's a very good lunch spot and has good sandwiches. They also have good soup and salads. If you're in Topeka, definitely stop here. The service is also great.

Love the atmosphere. Love the breakfast. Love the lunch items. Love the deserts. Love the lattes. On my many occasions either popping in or grabbing something to go, I found the staff to be uber friendly and helpful.

Lovely cafe. Exactly the right amount of continental flair, menu variety, price, atmosphere, and attentive service that makes a stellar cafe. I've only been once. I may come back and add a star. One drawback is the short hike up the steep stairs.

I won a $10 gift card to Juli's and decided to check it out with my mom while we did some (home)work. Good service, great food, tea, and coffee, and wonderful atmosphere. We love the wide open space and outlets at every table! The handcrafted soaps are cute (love that they have samples in the bathroom). Wish they were open on Sundays!

A great addition to downtown Topeka without being overwhelmingly excellent about anything. The Thai salad has a good peanut sauce and the sandwiches are perfectly fine. The "chips or pasta salad" choice of sides simplifies things for the kitchen but leaves something to be desired for the lunch customer. The daily specials can be competent without being fantastically wonderful. Their better meal is likely breakfast, but no coffee excellentness so still only a qualified win. Nice folks, especially the proprietor. Nice dining room. Spacious. Basically the downtown Topeka version of a cool little cafe, just without the excellent eats or coffee. Be glad it's here.

This is an amazing space! Perfect for a coffee shop! Lots of natural light through the huge windows and tons of open space for seating. It's great for people working downtown to stop in at lunch or grab a quick coffee. I've only had the coffee here which was nothing memorable and a little pricey, but the menu had me wanting to return and the food I saw people eating looked amazing.

I have been a fan of Juli's from her Huntoon location, and the new downtown venue is even nicer. It's much bigger and more open and will eventually have a great banquet space. My favorite is always the Cattle Club, but ask for it with Juli's Bistro Sauce instead of mayo. It's a roast beef sandwich with bacon, cheddar, lettuce and tomato on wheat toast. Yum! For something different, I also like the Grilled Cheese with Granny Smith Apples. The tangy apples with the sharp cheddar are a great combo.

I want to say Juli's is an Okay coffee shop. They have always had good coffee and have done a wonderful job of taking over the old planet cafe. On The other hand, I feel like there is an arrogance about this place. I feel as though they feel I should be privileged to be purchasing their coffee. And to me, that's not a winning attitude.

Drink + Food Ordered--- white chocolate frap + chicken pesto sandwich. Both very pleasing to the palate! Wish I could've been in town longer to try their latte and other other menu items Atmosphere is great! Would go here again next time I pass through.

Love the atmosphere in Juli's Coffee and Bistro, fun trendy decorations that compliment the historic feel to the Crane building make for a very comfortable experience. The coffee and treats that I get there are always top notch and I can spend hours relaxing, listening to the music and using the free Wifi. Visit for yourself and see, you're going to love it!

Quaint bistro setting in a great old building downtown. Nice selection of food at affordable prices. I really like that they have daily lunch specials during the week. Nice place, good food.

This is a fun little coffee shop, similar to what you'd find in Oregon. The staff is eager to please and if you describe a drink for them, they will try and fix it to your liking. The atmosphere is very cool and there's seating for a large group or smaller groups. Give it a try the next time you are in downtown Topeka.

I'm from California and I've been to many great cafes. But I must say this place is definitely a gem. The staff's super nice and their iced vanilla spiced latte is amazing. And the sandwiches... Yummy!!!

Love this place. Great ambiance and staff as well as food! They have a very large selection of sandwiches and wraps. I had the Cattle Club- roast beef, bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and mayo on wheat toast $7.79. It was great!! I can't say enough good things about this place and highly recommend stopping by when you are in downtown Topeka. Only suggestion is that they need to have the breads available that are advertised for certain sandwiches. If you have a large group please call them first to make reservations, they were very glad that our group of about 10 did. I almost forgot, to top it off, they have Chef Michelle behind the counter!!!

Alright, these folks deserve 5 stars for their service alone. They are lovely, lovely people. Juli is a total sweetheart and the food is seriously the best you can find in downtown Topeka, if not ALL of Topeka. Solid, consistent, wonderful.

This place was solid. A really cool little place to come get some food. It's really hard to see from the road with no signs really out front, but worth finding it for sure. All tables and chairs look like used stuff they got off of Craigslist, but it's all goes together extremely well. We've only been here once, and that was for breakfast. My wife got Horse Food, which was basically just oatmeal, and she liked that as much as one can like oatmeal I think. I, on the other hand, went with the Hot Mess. Oooh ya, that was just as great as it sounds! They had plenty of delicious looking pastries that we'll have to try at some point in our lives for sure! I also got some kind of pumpkin latte... I think maybe white chocolate pumpkin is what it was. That was also very tasty. Over all, a very good place. Only 4 stars for the time being until I get to check out some of the lunch foods, which should happen before too long!
