Solid. Chili-cheese fries are very nice, but I wish there was a "small" size to order. Burgers have great flavor and spicy condiments are an option at this one, which is a plus. All-in-all, great place to take the kids for lunch. Good food, reasonably priced, fun atmosphere- hard to go wrong.

Awesome place. I absolutely love the the Chicago style hot dogs. I usually grab a bite to eat at Freddy's when I 'm in Topeka. Very clean place and the staff as always been very friendly and make you feel as though they appreciate your business. You don't find that in very many places in Topeka, KS.

I had never heard of Freddy's, but I was craving frozen custard on a road trip. I pulled into this Freddy's and was surprised how clean it was and how many options there were. For $2.49, I got a small vanilla custard in a dish. It was delicious. After seeing the menu and cleanliness, I am actually planning on returning with my mother for a quick lunch stop on my way back across Kansas. Good fast food option.

Um yum! Never been to Freddy's until today. Had the California steak-burger and the custard and man o man it's delicious! I would choose here over Burger King McDonald's or Wendy's any day!

They are pricey for fast food. The burger meat patty is thin and overpowered by bum and toppings. The shoe string fries and custards are awesome.

Read reviews that burgers & fries were better here than Steak & Shake. Not the case IMHO. Custard is good. Tastes identical to that of Culvers chains. Topeka doesn't have a lot of late night options except Mexican food & pizza. Good service, other than lots of dirty tables in a mostly empty restaurant near 10pm.

The burgers are excellent! They serve shoestring fries which tend to be crispy and not very filling. The onion rings were very good and the frozen custard is to die for. It is smooth and creamy. We had the peanut butter concrete which WAS peanut buttery melt in your mouth smooth. My brother and his wife shared the Turtle Sundae and wished they had each had their own. We will definitely return when we are in Topeka in the future.

I had their Steakburgers which are very minimalistic - just pickles and onion rings with a major emphasis on the pickles. So a different flavor profile from regular burgers. I also had their concretes and found the Chocolate Brownie Delight to be good and the Signature Turtle to be a flop. Overall not bad for the amount you pay!!!

The custard is delish. The burgers are tasty, but nothing out of this world. Similar to what you can do in your own kitchen. The staff is friendly, but as soon as you walk away, they're busy chatting away to each other. My thoughts: go for the custard. It's fresh, it's creamy and you can doll it up in any way you want or just have it plain. Very yummy.

Messy burgers that have patties falling apart, noisy atmosphere, and thin cheaply made fries all make this a place I don't want to visit again.

Great place to get your burger craving satisfied. The fries are skinny and crispy which are perfect with chili and cheese. The custard is solid. Customer service was very nice also. Something simple and classic that fills you up.

Zero complaints here. The fries are like what you get at Steak 'n Shake, but the fry sauce and seasoning certainly help set them apart. The beef dogs are fantastic as are the burgers. Top it all off with a friendly staff, and we have a pretty well rounded establishment.
