If you're in a fix and need some pizza but don't want to spend a ton, then this an option... although beware, the pizza served with a side of screaming kids and arcade noise to boot. If you go after 8pm, the place is generally a bit quieter and the obnoxious children are less in quantity and a bit more-easily tolerated. Go before 8 and you'll encounter a madhouse. (Though, if you've got hungry kids and a small budget, I understand..) My husband will simply not go here. He can't stand it. My mom enjoys it and so there is an occasional evening trip when the husband is out. We don't have kids, so maybe you can understand. :) The deserts are worth the trip in my opinion - but then, I'm a sugar fiend. And, any of the pizzas, when smothered in Ranch sauce, are tolerable. (Don't go expecting gourmet here.)

One of the worst place in town, if not the WORST, they are going down since the new management took over the place, the service is terrible, the new manager named ALFREDO CASTILLO is an asshole, disrespectful, and he doesn't care at all about the place or service to the customer, and regarding the food is really nasty, the pizza used to be ok, but now is only dough and sauce and almost no toppings, that;s why is so cheap but is not worth, cicis has become a ghetto place, pretty much is the walmart of the pizzas.

This pizza sucks these people are nuts I wouldn't be surprised if someone doesn't get sick eating here the pizza is dry and curled up and not kept fresh and all the employees want to do is play grab ass. I've given this CC's three chances and all three times they have struck out. Try eating CiCi's on Wanamaker then visit Topeka Boulevard CC's you will know exactly what I mean the difference is astounding. Topeka Boulevard severely needs someone with management skills and definitely more respectable employees. I give this establishment no stars unfortunately to post you have to give one.

My grandma, being a typical sweet grandma, often selects restaurants solely on the 'deal' associated with being old at the particular establishment. Apparently, Cici's is near the top of the list of the sweet deals for those eligible for an AARP card. Anyway, so we're off to Cici's on a Thursday night for my birthday. I generally don't like Cici's but hey, it's grandma, so I don't really care. In general, the Cici's experience was similar to any other buffet-style cheap pizza restaurant. The staff was friendly enough though there was some confusion about being out of trays. The pizza was of so-so and I could tell grandma was really happy with all the money she saved. Plus, she was able to specifically order the pizza she wanted which I thought was pretty classy for Cici's. I'm not sure if doing that is company-wide policy. Regardless, it was nice. You could tell cleanliness was a key priority at this Cici's as the busboy was pretty quick on the clip to clear away the plates when people left. Then things got a little weird. I guess one middle-aged woman (we'll call her Sassy) bumped into an elderly lady (we'll call her poor old lady - POL) who was clearly just having trouble carry her tray and didn't need someone nearly knocking her over. The POL said "excuse you" in a non-threatening tone but Sassy took it the wrong way and literally started screaming at POL. POL's equally old husband stood up for his wife and asked Sassy to leave. Sassy proceeded to ask if the man wanted to "go" (as in fight). It took entirely too long for the manager to come over but at least he got Sassy to leave. Anyway, I guess expect some screaming children (which was fine, it's Cici's), mediocre pizza and random unnecessary ghetto fighting. I'll probably only go back if grandma asks again.

Cicis is great if you are really hungry and don't have a lot of cash. They do make pizza to order and have pasta, salad, and desert. They also have an ingenious concoction of Macaroni and Cheese Pizza. Overall If I want pizza I usually order pizza hut or dominos though.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
