Day before yesterday i paid a little visit to fazoli while my way home from movies. This wasn't my first time there. As I had always enjoyed their food, especially the warm bread sticks. The food is comforting, made with fresh ingredients. When you dine-in they bring warm bread stick, which i really like. I get my southern style sweet tea, which you don't find up here in Kansas or Missouri. They do take time to fix up your order in drive thru. So i always feel it's better to dine-in.

I love their baked items! Either the Spaghetti or the Ziti. The Ravioli is awesome too. They also have a good variety of salads, so try one. They have combo meals where you can pick a pasta and have get a salad and a drink for a better price. Plus you are eating on real plates with real silverware. Also when you eat in the breadsticks are all you can eat and the drinks are free refills!! The prices are MUCH BETTER than Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden!

I lived in this area for 21 years and frequented this Fazoli's with family and friends. Six months ago, I moved to a city that doesn't have this chain, so I was beyond excited to come home for Christmas and have Fazoli's while I was here. In six months, this place has changed to the point that I don't think I want to go back. First, the food was merely average. The fettucini tasted bland and the noodles on the lasagna were chewy. I have never had food this poor from Fazoli's, so I was a bit stunned. Additionally, the atmosphere of the place left a lot to be desired. I was sitting at the other end of the restaurant from the kitchen and could hear everything that the managers were saying to one another. One was talking very loudly about how the lasagna and alfredo sauce needed to be thrown out because they had both been sitting too long and were turning "brown" (something that worried me as I was waiting for exactly those food items). I heard them say that they almost had new pans of each ready, so I was relieved that they made me wait longer, assuming it was to make sure I had fresher food. A little while later, the other manager was telling an employee that the shelves just behind the front counter were "disgusting," so she needed to remove all the items and clean them. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like hearing the word "disgusting" come out of a kitchen that had just delivered me food. It makes me sad that I'm writing such a bad review of this place; I used to hold it in such high esteem... But after today, it would take a lot to get me to return.

I personally like the food. The fettuccine Alfredo is great when you add a little bit of salt to it. The hot breadsticks are tasty. The problem is that they take forever! We're right down the street so we often do takeout from here and do the drive through. Last night we were in the drive through for 15 minutes with only three cars in front of us. It was nice of them to give us 2 extra breadsticks for our wait, but this seems to be an every-time-we-go wait time over the last 6 months. That said, we keep going back.

If you're peeved about the pricieness of pasta, perhaps you should partake at Fazoli's. The restaurant itself has no personality, but hey, you're not paying for ambiance, you're paying for oodles of breadsticks and noodles and marinara and all that other good stuff. For fast food, Fazoli's makes a great Italian meal. It's perfect for kids too, who suck down the carbs like there's no tomorrow. When you're in adult company, you may want a more refined Italian dining experience. But capers? Antipasta? Kids only turn their noses up at that stuff anyway, so fill their bellies with Fazoli's, and with the pennies you save take your date for a posh meal on the weekend -- preferable someplace without all-you-can-eat breadsticks.

Really like this place! Reasonable price and the staff was amazingly friendly. Wayne, an employee there, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. my kids can not wait to return there. I also want to be able to bring my husband there soon.

Tastes good when your eating it. Not so much when you're throwing it up four hours later, the same as it went down.

I've driven by this place so many times, and finally felt like I needed to stop by and give it a try. I walked in and stood at the counter and people kept telling me they would be with me, but no one actually stopped to take my order for a while. (I was getting it to go) After placing my order, I had to ask for my cup so I could get my drink while I waited. All my food was there and good ( I ordered some kind of sampler) so I really couldn't complain there, but I feel like my spaghetti is just as good. And their chick Alfredo cracked me up they have Alfredo noodles with a hunk of chopped up chicken on top, they didn't even mix it together (but that could be a personal preference.) The lasagna was good as well. The bread sticks are awesome...so I would go back and order a ton of those and on a night when I don't want to cook, I could see me going back.

Eh. Now, the 2 breadsticks were really good (okay the one that was hot was), but for 2 slices of below average pizza, 3.99 is a bit steep, when I could have a little better pizza and breadsticks with a drink for around $5 down the street. It seemed a bit chaotic, and I can only imagine how it is on Tuesday's Kids Night (I will NEVER make that mistake!!). The pizza might have been shipped in from the Pizza Street down the street, which is NOT a good thing.

Fazoli's is all new! Remodeled! New attitude! They bring your food to you now trying to position themselves as somewhere between fast food and a sit down restaurant. But.... This place is still WAY over priced but the food was greatly improved over the last time I had went. Everyone was friendly EXCEPT the manager who appeared to be just going through the motions. All of the changes they have done is nothing more than shining a turd. Go to Mac Grill you'll be much happier for the SAME money.

Fazoli's has gotten a little fancier in the past year or so. You now order your food/pay at the register and get a number for your table. While you wait for your food to be prepared, grab your drink and silverware at the waiter's stand and choose a table. The staff will bring your food by and give you some (FREE) breaksticks. These are made with a little bit of Heaven cooked inside. There's a variety of Italian options to choose from as well as combos and salads to be added. Fazoli's has dessert options (the chocolate cake is delicious!) and Italian ice to treat yourself. Nothing is very expensive and it is very family friendly and you can move tables to accomodate your group's size. Also, I was at a Bridal expo last year and learned that Fazoli's will cater any event you have.

If you're on an anti-carb diet, not the place for you. If you want cheap, decent Italian food, this is the place for you. A decent menu, the baked spaghetti is a good place to start. Eat half, take the rest home for tomorrow. The ambience factor is nada, unless you count cheesy piped in music and fake "vintage" wall decorations as ambience. The breadsticks are legendary, which is well deserved. Eat as many as you want, just go running when you get home to work them off. Prices are cheap, you could feed a family of 4 for $20 pretty easily.

My family has been to this location several times. The food is fast, fresh, and very tasty. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Wayne especially stands out.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
