Ate at Freddy's pizza and it was good but nothing spectacular. The pizza crust tasted like a large cracker or matzo. However, the overall taste was good. We ordered the chef salad and it seemed like a salad you would get at a Wendy's drive thru. It consisted of chunks of iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots and cheese and some processed lunch meat style diced ham. The menu said it came with salami and beef but they must have left it off. I would not order it again. Both the pepperoni and sausage pizza was good but I couldn't get past the crust. We are passing through town so will probably never be back but if given the option and if in the mood for pizza, I might return but only because there are no other options in town. Friendly staff. There are only two sizes for the pizzas - large and small. Again, couldn't get past the crust. The kids gave it a three star too.

I always love Freddy's Pizza Palace. This place has been around for the longest time. Breadsticks are amazing! I love cheese. I really love there sausage (only way they/anyone should make sausage= pork sausage), mushroom, and onion pizza. Cheese fries are awesome as well. My small town favorite! :) Thank You Freddys! :)

Oh Freddy's, how I love thee. I am biased when it comes to Freddy's because this is the pizza I grew up on. But to this day, it is every bit as delicious and perfect as I remember. There was a nearly 10 year period where I only got Freddy's once and despite living 800 miles away, I would still crave Freddy's at least once a month. I recently moved to within a couple hours of Seneca and this weekend I made a trip back SPECIFICALLY to get Freddy's. That is how much I love it. SO for an actual review... Freddy's pizza is a thin crust pizza unlike anything I've had anywhere else. It's a one of a kind. The sauce is fairly minimal but delicious and then you have your toppings. There is no shortage of cheese on this pizza and they apply meat rather liberally. I love sausage pizza and there is no place that you get sausage pizza like that at Freddy's. It is perfection. They don't give you slices of sausage or balls of sausage. The sausage is browned (Perfectly, I might add. crispy but not burnt) and chopped and crumbled all over the pizza. It would be impossible to take a bit without sausage in it. A friend once referred to it as "meat pizza with a side of meat". That, my friends, sounds delicious, no? The canadian bacon was also always a favorite of mine. The pepperoni was also great but as I've become a little healthier in adulthood, I would now consider it a little too greasy for my liking. Another thing that sets Freddy's apart are the fries. Fries you ask? Yes, french fries. That might not sound like something that goes along with pizza, but if you grew up in Seneca, you would know they go together perfectly. The fries at Freddy's are the fries that I measure all others too. They are crispy and delicious and I love them. In the last 15 years or so they started serving gravy fries and cheese fries, which I know many people love, but for me, there is no need to embellish them. They are perfect all on their own. Freddy's also serves chicken and taco salad and other things, I assume. i wouldn't really know because all I've ever wanted or needed from them are their pizza and fries. I know my mom has always loved the chicken though, so it must be good. The place, driving up to Freddy's, it looks like a total hole in the wall. Inside, the walls are decorated with jerseys from local school sand posters from local pro and college teams. This is a big improvement over the years when it inexplicably had cartoon characters on the wall. There are video games, a ball pit for the kids, and pop a shot. Sadly, the pool tables are no longer there. If you are ever in Seneca, you must eat at Freddy's. Or, you can be like me and live 2 hours away and still make a trip there for dinner. Totally worth the trip.

Ok, so I'm probably the only one who will ever review this place, but that's fine. It's in my home town and will always hold a special place in my heart. Gotta loooot of memories in this place. The best part is that it still looks the same, smells the same, and the pizza still tastes the same as it did when I was a kid. Also, for your entertainment, they have arcade games representing the very pinnacle of video game technology such as Bad Dudes (1988), Cruisin' USA (1994), and a Last Action Hero pinball machine (1993). They only in the last couple of years got rid of the original Super Mario Bros. arcade game. Sad. You don't find a lot of mom & pop style pizza joints in rural Kansas, so this place is fairly unique. Sure there's a Valentino's (chain) in town and even a Pizza Hut a mere 20 miles away. But if you want the real deal, Freddy's is your place. Now, I've lived in Chicago for almost ten years and consider myself something of a pizza aficionado. I love pizza in all of it's varying thicknesses, styles, and sauce varieties. And, while here in Chi-town I consider Pequod's and D'Agostinos to be the best thin crust in the business, I truly believe that were Freddy's here too, that it would be right there in the upper echelon with them. I only make it home about three times a year, but whether I'm home for a week or a day, a stop for pizza at Freddy's is always on the itinerary. It's the perfect place to eat after a high school football game or before hoping back in the car and cruising Main Street. Ahhhh the memories.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
