Great lunch buffet. I was in Salina for a conference and had a limited amount of time and a huge appetite. This place did not disappoint. They even had sopapillas for dessert! I will definitely plan to come back!

Best deal at this place in the margarita! The food was not good at all. 1. Worst Chile Relleno ! 2. Beans. (Canned ) 3. Every thing on my plate was over heated or Microwaved. 4. The Service was Great! The Waitress was Great!

I do not recommend it. My wife said their salsa tasted like ketchup. We had 1 taco salad, 1 nacho, and our drinks were water for lunch. Our bill was almost $22. The food was okay but not for that price. Our server was more interested in talking with another table then she was about getting our table what we needed. No thank you..we will not be back.

Good food, just needs home made tortillas! Lol but people are friendly! There's gas station next to it too which makes it very convenient! I would recommend it since there's also not much around!

Favorite restaurant in Salina! Freshly made salsa, good margaritas. Favorite dishes are the chimichanga and mango avocado salad. Something to please everyone, with options for vegetarians as well as kids and adults who don't like Mexican food.

Food was good and quick to the table. The margarita was decent. Service left something to desire. My drink sat empty at the edge of the table for a good amount of time. I continued to look around for a server to grab and no luck. Still waiting....

I am from Texas and a bit of a Mexican food diva. Queso was good, would have preferred if the salsa was spicier but it was fresh. I had the chicken chimichanga. It was great, the chimichanga was a 5 out of 5. Service was exceptional and quick. I came in at a down time, but I was in and out in 25 minutes.

The place gets three stars for both the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service provided by the manager on duty at the time of my visit - both actually above par! The positives generally end there however. The meals that both my companion and I ordered on this visit were pretty simple staples - cheese enchiladas & beef fajitas were fairly underwhelming. The enchilada sauce was funky - tomato with minimal cilantro, while the cheese was almost at overkill levels on the inside. While I might find that to be pleasing at some times, it wasn't in this instance. The rice and beans were okay though. As for the fajitas I sampled, it seemed that there was an overreliance on the peppers and onions, and many of the vegetables on the skillet were on the line between carmelized and simply burned. The meat was done fairly well, but it's nothing to write home about. I don't think I'll be coming back to this place - but if you must, go in the early afternoon before 5 PM. You'll likely be the only person here and will also be likely to get a great amount of attention on your visit.

Right off interstate. Small Mexican menu with American as well. Salsa was fresh and good. Mexican food was average. Staff was friendly

I came to this spot on the account of its near the truck stop. Thinking it would be nice to finally eat some real mexican food. After speaking to the bartender he recommended me a burrito. I took it to go since I was in a hurry. Finally open the bag to find a drenched in grease burrito. I didn't mind the grease that much but the burrito it self was salty and tasteless. I will never eat here again.

What a great find! Vegetarian section of the menu included real dishes with real vegetables, not just cheese and tortillas. Cheese enchilada (sometimes I do just want cheese an tortillas, so what?!) was fantastic with a crunchy cheesy top. Veggie and mushroom quesadilla was a great combination of flavor a and well executed. Staff was attentive and took great care of our kids' needs.

Salsa was great, spinach mushroom quesadilla was really good with mango avocado salad. Glad we found this restaurant

Outstanding friendly service. Quality of food however is poor. Salsa is canned tomato paste with chunks of white onion and cilantro stirred in. Retried beans are also from the can. If you've had really good Mexican food as most of us Kansans have had, you'll be disappointed. It's true the waitress recommended the most expensive plate on the menu, and we didn't try it, so maybe it is actually good. But we didn't get the cheapest items either. I think most people would be happier heading down the street to taco bell and getting the cheaper quality food at a cheaper price.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
