Hate to do it, but Minski's totally pissed me off tonight. I'm accustomed to their long delivery times, but when they lost my order (waited 1 1/2 hour to call them to check status), that did it. Perhaps if management (Ryan Hall) had seemed apologetic, this review wouldn't have happened ($6.00 off my order is not what I'd call sufficient; and I had to ask "what are you guys going to do to make this right?" I shouldn't have to do that). I'm not a negative type guy. In fact, I never write reviews but felt compelled to set up a Yelp account just to vent. Minsky's, you have great pizza, but you've lost a former advocate and customer. ***update.... Manager surprised me with free cheesy bread. Still not happy with the abruptness of my initial call with him, but a nice gesture. May change my stance but still may never order for delivery.

Pizza is good. But this location will not honor other Minskys coupons. I have found that the management here is ruthless and puts profit ahead of keeping the customer happy. When anything is wrong they argue with you and make you work hard to get any compensation. I called tonight to place an order and the cocky manager got sideways with me over a coupon from another location. He wanted to price gouge me as a regular customer. Screw that! There are other pizza places in town. So you have lost me as a customer and I will tell all my friends about your cheap ass policies. No wonder your joint sits empty most of the time.

Minsky's is a real treat. It's not your standard canned veggies at Minsky's. They use real fresh ingredients and their sauce is great. The even have a vegetarian pizza with no cheese for people on a strict diet. Of course I prefer the pizza with everything!

Pretty fast service when dining in; delivery takes about 45 minutes, but you can order online. The biggest downside of this Minsky's location is that their hummus isn't the same as the location in River Market (which was my favoritest favorite), so unless they all changed recently, avoid the hummus here (it's not terrible, but not delicious). Otherwise pizza here is consistently good, sandwiches are OK also.

I met a friend there after work for dinner and a beer. The service was good with the wait people being prompt and friendly. The problem here is the food . I ordered a Caesar salad and a mini combo pizza. The salad was the worst Caesar salad that I can remember eating. Soggy, limp lettuce with onions and ground red peppers. They may be trying to put a twist on a traditional recipe, but this was a fail. I didn't finish it. The pizza tasted fair. Too much sauce and pretty generic crust. Really nothing special here. Overall, I won't go out of my way to eat here again. There are much better pizza places in the area.

Undercooked and not happy with the customer service. When I call to make an order whoever always answers the phone acts like they are doing me a favor. I have found the manager very unprofessional and for the price of the pizza I expect better! I probably won't be ordering again.

Does anyone know who owns the Minsky's at 159th street and MurLen? It used to be so good and I continue to hope it will get better but each time I order it's just horrible. Today was my last attempt. First noticeable problem toppings were sloshed to one side of the pizza, this includes the sauce and cheese so some slices are just crust. Problem 2 I ordered a large and got a medium (I even measured to confirm, 12" not 14"). Problem 3, spoke to manager who insists it was a large because person that delivered it is the one that cut it and he said it was a large (I'm sorry, when did you have this conversation considering I just told you my complaint?!) Final problem after hanging up with the 'manager', pizza tastes horrible. I love Minsky's but will never order from this location again.

My family loves Minskys however they need to get rid of their manager at the Olathe location before he screws them over completely. I have had three bad experiences there in the last few months. The first time my delivery order took over 1.5 hours, the food was cold by the time I got it and the driver said I hope someone told you they didn't have anyone to deliver your order til after 5:00. Not once was I notified and my email said 45minutes. The second time I called in a carry out order. When I arrived it was the wrong pizza, I told them my order was wrong and they got a manager. The manager told me he knows that is what I ordered because he took the call, it was one of their specialty pizzas I had never heard of before so I know there is no way I ordered that, I just ordered a cheese pizza. He continued to be a jerk, acted annoyed, and went on and on over the pizza he thinks I ordered. I couldn't believe his behavior especially since I was just standing there, saying nothing, with my small child, wanting a freaking cheese pizza! Was it really that big of a deal to remake it? I finally asked if he was really the manager there because of his behavior and asked for his bosses contact information, at this time he started to apologize. Tonight I ordered lasagna and salad, the lasagna was suppose to come with breadsticks which I did not receive. I called to ask about it and was told they were out of them at the time and then it was dead silent like that's it, no big deal, we didn't have what you ordered so we just didn't give it to you. I then asked if they had some now, the girl checked and said yes and that was all again, dead silent for several seconds, I then asked if they could deliver my breadsticks now and she said she would need to get a manager because delivery was really busy. I explained to the manager what the girl said and he said they were out of breadsticks at the time, once again like it's no big deal I didn't get what I ordered, I explained to him how I had paid for delivery, didn't receive what I ordered and it stated online comes with the order, couldn't they deliver them now, he said they were really busy again in delivery and could deliver them later, I told him I shouldn't have to wait because I already waited and paid for my order, he said he would credit me a $1 for them, what a joke. After going around and around with him it got me nowhere once again but an e-mail address for his boss. This guy seriously should not be running someone else's business that involves customer service. He is arrogant, rude, and has an I don't care attitude. However he should remember he is a manager at a pizza joint, not someone making $250,000 a year plus.

Great pizza, but delivery service is really slow, normally 45 min to an hour. Sometimes longer. Doesn't seem to matter if I order on a Tuesday or a Saturday, it's always slow and I normally have to reheat it in the over for about 10 minutes, which defeats the purpose of delivery! I would order from here more if it was faster. It's a shame, because I do love their pizza.

Minsky's is my favorite pizza place around. They are the only place that even if your pizza has many toppings, you still get ALOT of cheese. The cheeseburger, 5 star cheese and tostado pizza's are some of the awesome unique pizza's. I also love their spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce is thick and rich, just like my grandma used to make. My daughter thinks they have the best mozzarella sticks. With their pizza choices, pastas, sandwiches and salads they is something for everyone.

Great pizza but the customer service is awful and they don't care. Deliveries are always really late and they act like its no big deal. They never offer anything to make it right either. I'll make sure I go to other locations because this one isn't worth the hassle.

Good food but place is not clean. Bathroom toilet had feces on lid and all inside toilet. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Gross. I about lost my lunch after walking in the bathroom - couldn't use the restroom there. I was going to tell the waitress but she was too busy chasing other waiter around and acting silly. It was my first time there. Won't be going back!

Always go here when it's not busy. Pizza is always delicious and fresh. Staff is good but prices are a bit high.
