This is the only shop that I have found in the KC area that comes close to serving their hoagies in the rolls that I grew up eating (sort of crunchy on the outside and chewy - Philadelphia style). I have tried several of their offerings including the vegetarian and I have been happy with all of them. And the best part is they sell their day old rolls so we can use them to make authentic Philly steaks at home. The only downside (for me) is that it is a chain. I much prefer the locally owned, family run hoagie shops.

I'm sorry Jimmy John's, but I just don't get it. Bread, meat, what? I've avoided JJ's for quite some time. Why, you ask? Simple: they have no hot food there. Cold cuts have never appealed to me so why bother. I decided to stop in and get the Italian Nightshift or whatever it is called. I'll say, the cured meats were good as was the Italian dressing that was on the sandwich...except for it running out the bottom of the sandwich and staining my shirt and pants, but hey, I'll put that on myself. Still though, it isn't anything special. I only gave it 3 stars instead of the two I started with because the competition is basically Subway and Goodcents. While those two serve hot food, it is still shiat so Jimmy John's scores the third star. Oh, and the bread was fine but not remarkable in my mind. Chalk it up to my bias against cold cuts (again the capicola and salami were good), but Jimmy John's just doesn't do it for me.

Fresh meat, fresh bread, fresh veggies. But why does it seem so dry and blah? That giant French bread chunk just begs some other dressing or sauce or something besides mayo. I'm not an avocado fan, so that's out. Really, I just wanted to know where the "gourmet" came in to play? Hubby and I were expecting a wide array of different sandwiches, different bread & different sauces to try. Imagine our surprise when it turned out to be just another sub joint. Should've called it Jimmy John's Subs. But hey, the signs on the walls were fun. Oh, and they need a menu people with normal human eyes can read. that tiny writing way up near the ceiling is crazy.

It was a really REALLY long time ago I wrote a rather subpar review on this place. About 17 sandwiches later, and it's pretty clear that I have become an ultra addict of their sandwiches. The avocado sauce taste, well, real. . . Not to mention the wide array of meats too. I still stay away from the JJ Gargantuan as the flavors in that sandwich are just strange. Everything else though is truly amazing tasting. I also tried a sandwich with the 7 grain bread and was extremely surprised how psychedelic it was. Of course, walking in the door, paying for a sandwich and walking out sandwich in hand in less than 2 minutes flat is just sick in every way (and i mean in a good way of course)

I am invisible, and a nuisance to the staff here, who were busy with everything but waiting on customers. This store does not live up to the advertising at all. A little dirty too.

Just got my sub from Jimmy John's delivered in 10 minutes. Freaky fast delivery indeed. And the service was very nice, Michael did a very good job. Thanks! The sub was awesome as always.

Okay, so, I love Jimmy Johns. LOVE IT. I work very close by an order often, but every time I order, something is always wrong. Sometimes they dont put the cheese on that I have to pay a little extra for, they forget the hot peppers, mayo or didnt put the packets in the bag that I requested. And, unfortunately, today I just got my order that I was not expecting at all. My ticket says add hot peppers, I get sprouts. I requested to add cheese, I get no cheese. On top of that, I requested that my order be cut in half. It was not cut in half because they sent me a lettuce wrap. Granted, maybe the bread was missing because I ordered online and missed something, but seriously, swapping hot peppers and sprouts is extremely dimwitted. As is forgetting to add the cheese that is clearly on the ticket. My ticket also said to 'cut in half.' Well, you cant cut a lettuce wrap in half, so if someone were paying attention and was wondering what that was all about, they could've asked or called me to confirm the order. It's whatever, the food is good but the service is disappointing. I let all the other things in the past slide because I love their subs and am a loyal customer. As stated, I love their food, but after experiencing consistently inconsistent service, I will not be ordering from this sub shop anymore.

Awful. RUN! New owners are cheap and have made changes that don't reflect well. Napkins are hidden. Water cups are available for a fee. Their Budget cuts are reflected and echoed by their employees as well. It's not the same. Used to enjoy this place. We used to order for corporate events. And corporate birthday parties. Not anymore. Complaints to management bring arguments. Call the health department. This place is awful now!

There are at least 5 sandwich shops in this general area. I quit ordering from this Jimmy Johns a couple of years ago when suddenly, with my order, they decided to not deliver to my place of employment. They had delivered just a half hour earlier that day, but suddenly realized that the less than 5 minute drive was out of their area. After spending 15 minutes of my lunch waiting for them, I called and was informed of this They didn't bother calling to tell me they were not going to deliver to me. I decided to give them another try and placed an order a couple of weeks ago. Everything was good although they seem to have slowed down quite a bit on their freaky fast delivery. I ordered again today and was once again disappointed. I notced the driver pull up so stepped outside the door so I would not have to battle with the dog. He sat in his car for a few minutes before coming up to the door. This may explain part of the non-freaky fast delivery that they now have. His radio was turned up extremely loud and I could hear it even with his windows up. When he opened the door it was disgustingly loud. He then decided instead of walking a few feet to use the sidewalk, to climb over the railing to get to my door. Seriously? Might as well just use apes to deliver the food. And when he left he climbed over the railing again. I sat down to eat my sandwich and was disappointed to not have any napkins included in the sack. Also, I order my sandwich dry with condiments on the side. I prefer this so I can decide what amount to put on the sandwich. although my receipt clearly shows the request, condiments were not included. I am not sure how difficult it is to check a bad for a few items to insure accuracy before leaving the store, but it seems that the quality of service at this store has not changed. I will stick with Jason's Deli to deliver sandwiches. With all of the competition in the area, Jimmy Johns need to step up their game.

Love their bread!!!! They make a good sandwich mainly due to their bread. It is baked fresh and you can also buy day old bread which makes great cheesy bread or garlic bread. Their meat is good: better than Subway, Less than Planet Sub, On-par with Good Cents. Their toppings are generous and fresh. I have never had wilted lettuce or green tomatoes. I love the fact that I can call them when I leave the office and they will have my order ready when I walk in the door. Everyone there is super nice and usually a little hyper which I like and you can tell they love their job. That in and of itself makes it fun to go in and watch how they all interact. If you are near, stop in and get a sandwich. I think you will like them.

Never disappoints. When you want a sub this is the place to go. In and out no bs, no attitude.
