I like the food here, especially the Molcajete. Service is always fast and consistent. Parking is easy. I recommend going here hungry and getting one order of the Molcajete for two people to share or plan to take home leftovers.

Hands down this is the best Mexican food in McPherson... With that being said, why only three stars? The problem is that this is not good tasting authentic Mexican food. In general, the staff is super friendly, the restaurant is clean, the food comes out quick but the food is also bland. I ordered a lot of different things on the menu.. And in general none of them are stellar. I will say that their margaritas are potent and they usually have a drink special going on as well. 3 stars because of the service and because of their awesome margaritas, but the food...

It was a fucking day care in there, waitress could give two shits if you die of dehydration. They have a whole restaurant but still bunch everybody together like a fucking sardine can.

Don't listen to anyone else, this place is worse than la fiesta. TRUST ME! I have the credentials. Servers are strange here and food is just plain bad. Just to add insult to injury the drinks are awful. La fiesta has good food and great family service.

Their queso seems to be watered down...

Service was fast, but it was overpriced for the remarkably lackluster food we received. Runny cheese dip, taco shells that tasted like they came out if an Old El Paso taco kit, chunks of iceberg lettuce and bland and runny refried beans. The place was clean and the wait staff were very friendly, but that is not enough to bring us back.

The atmosphere here is nice and the help/and ownership is very friendly. The food however, left something to be desired. I had the lunch buffet and found many of the dishes to be cold and underseasoned and I was eating them 15 minutes after opening. My mom swears by the menu here so maybe I will order off of it next time

Pretty generic Mexican food. The margaritas were lackluster. The salsa was fairly bland, heavy on tomatoes and not much else. Also, our servers were slow and the place wasn't even busy.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. It was so so good!! We shared an order of guacamole and an order of chicken fajitas. It was plenty for two people. The guacamole was wonderful and the flavor of the chicken fajitas would be hard to beat. We also had margaritas. I was a little worried when they were brought to the table they kind of looked like green koolaid but don't let the color fool you. They were really good, light and not too sweet.

Tres Amigos has good food for a good price, and the service is outstanding. The food is prepared fast, and the servers are nice and genuine. If you're looking for some solid Mexican cuisine (as opposed to liquid or pureed) then Tres Amigos does well.

Excellent Mexican food. It tastes authentic and the service is always fast and friendly. I think their salsa is especially good. They also have an extensive menu with lots of traditional/authentic favorites, as well as several items that those with a less adverturous palate would enjoy. I'm glad we tried this place. It probably took us a while because we didn't like either of the restaurants that were previously in this building. Prices are also reasonable.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
