I've been there on four occasions, and the experience differs each time. The interior is unmistakably Aggieville-ish, i.e. bar in a small town. Although they don't necessarily need to update it, it could sure use some repairs, especially the floors. If this is something I notice even in the dark, I sure don't want to see it in bright daylight. The business owns two lots with bars on each side, but only one bathroom for each gender (yes, pathetic) and it's absolutely disgusting. As far as alcohol, there are plenty. Seats, sure. Space to walk, it depends what time of the night. There is also a patio in the back with more seats and, guess what, another bar. During the summer, there'll be a gigantic fan blowing right next to the exit door leading to the patio. It gets annoying especially when someone smoking happens to be standing next to it. It's also not really a place you can enjoy good music. The DJ, I assume, is the type who would do a half-ass job at anything, i.e. not the type to work on his mix prior to playing it at the bar. It's always utterly disappointing to hear the miserable progression from one song to another. It's obvious that he/ she is mostly spinning for the drunk and oblivious. If I can avoid going there, or I can talk my friends out of going there, I would surely try my best.

The bathroom door lock is broken, which made it a scary and panic-inducing poop event. Other than that the bass made it feel like I was having a heart attack but it was just some Lady GaGa remix.

The staff at Tubby's charged three Trans women to get in while letting all the other patrons in for free. These discriminatory actions won't be ignored. I won't be giving Tubby's my patronage in the future.

The burger was just fair, and the service was poor, even on a quiet Monday night with almost as many waitresses as customers. We were attracted by all the tvs, but do yourself a favor and keep walking.

Nice waitstaff. Waitress was new, messed up our order, but apologetic. Manager was helpful, though she did give me fries to me on the house...even though they came with the meal. Now the kitchen staff was a different deal. Ordered the chicken wrap without cheese... Delivered with cheese, sent it back. When it came back it was obvious that they had opened it up and tried to pick out the cheese...after one bite I discovered it still had cheese in it. Sent it back and got the chicken strips. If you're in for a drink...you are good..don't order food!

Awesome burgers! Atmosphere is typical sports bar, nothing to write home about, but the food is quite a bit above average.

Simply put, Tubby's is the best sports bar in Aggieville. If you like dancing, they've got that at night -- but know it's dominated by college coeds. As for the food, the spicy fries are the best fries in Aggieville. You can't go wrong with a burger, either. They're right on par with So Long Saloon.
