This is the only place I have given 5 stars. Came for taco's that I saw in the pic they did not disappoint at all. Then the next week went for the big wall burger that was even better. Now back for the 3rd time had the wall burger again and it was over the top! !!!! If you want the best burger in k.c. you need to get here! !!!!!! I've been looking for the best burger in k.c. and k.c . mo for 2 years I think this place had won the prize so far. If you think you have a better place please let me know I'll try it and get back to you.

I like this place. The thing that made me want to come was they have the buzztime trivia. But it is a local place and the food is pretty good. Burgers and tots were great. I hear they have good wings too.

I have eyeballed this place for the past several years after exiting 435 and heading toward my hood. I often stop at the nearby Quik Trip, and I have thought this strip mall-ish location in the middle of office and industry is kind of a weird place for a bar. After some thinking, I am guessing this is a watering hole for the Falcon Ridge crowd. We finally visited on a Friday night round 10:30 or so. Maybe about 25 people here, some playing trivia, some playing golf games (go figure), and some on the patio smoking. Kim H is spot-on about the clientelle. I am mid40-something, and I was one of the youngsters other than the bartenders. The tap selection is mainly domestic, but they do have Guinness, Fat Tire, and Boulevard Wheat. Bottle selection is similar. While I would really give it two stars for now, I give it three for the fact that they serve full menu till midnight on weekends and 11 pm during the week. I didn't eat, but as a routine late-night eater, this gives me another option. They are open till 1:30 am, FYI. Their poorly-designed website doesn't give this info. Bartenders were friendly, and people were well-behaved. I will definitely come back here and hopefully make use of the late night menu sometime. It gives me another JoCo options for those nights I must stay close to home.

We have been here a few times and the atmosphere is a little odd. It is pretty much an older crowd Seriously 90% of the patronage is the 60+ crowd. Then there are a few guys there watching games. Usually a family or two. Then some random couples or one group of co-workers there for happy hour. The food is awesome. Super Hamburger and Crispy fries. Hubby loves the pizza. Staff is nice and they keep the drinks full. They are always packed and they do a great job taking care of you. It is just the odd collection of people that are there. The really loud talking 60+ crowd about their grandchildren, lawns, vacation, etc . The drunk co-workers, the people just there to have a burger and beer (that is where me and hubby fall) and then the family or two there for a family dinner. It is just odd collection of people in a bar. But that odd collection makes for great people watching. Oh and they have like 8 TV's to watch sports on.

Trying to avoid some traffic congestion, sent me home via a route not usually taken. That's how I discovered Wallabys, tucked into a small recess of an industrial park, at Lackman and 95th St. The 5 o'clock crowd had already settled in by 515, and the party was well underway with lots of folks having a brewsky and some fun. The menu is a little more inclusive than most bars..steaks, steak tip baskets, and a huge variety of sandwiches to name a few. I sampled the Beef Cheesesteak & the Fish and chips basket. The sandwich was great, tender beef piled high with melted cheese, grilled onions and peppers, that did not overwhelm the sandwich....Highly reccommended! The Fish was lightly battered and fried to a nice crispiness. Inside was mild cod, that had a great taste, the fried that accompanied both orders appeared to be fresh cut, very fresh, and not awash with excess grease. This place was a gold mine discovery for me, not even knowing of its exsistance, now I am a huge fa, and will be back to try more of the menu. Nightly specials are listed on their website. Atmosphere is typical bar...a little noisy, but who goes to a place like this to have a quiet conversation?? If you do. drink up and get loud yourself...you'll feel better.

For what it is---a bar's bar in Lenexa---it's A-OK. They serve what you expect, cheap drinks and greasy food. Supposedly their burgers are great, and they're on special on Mondays. Haven't tried those yet, but I imagine we'll definitely be back for 4 reasons: convenient location (for us), cheap drinks, lots of tvs, and relaxed atmosphere. Our service was also good here.

Well my boys love this place, they love chicken tenders, wings, the tacos, etc. I think the wings are outstanding, and they have good beer specials.

For lunch I Had the best burger EVER. What made it special? Big juicy, not round but obviously hand made, stuck out of the bun- which was fresh and soft. Perfectly cooked. Excellent flavor. Only garnish was cheddar cheese (that's what I ordered). Fries were nothing special. I will definitely go there again. Busy lunch crowd. Bar atmosphere.

While re-discovering our old neighborhood (we haven't lived in the Kansas City area for 13 years) we stumbled across Wallaby's and decided to give it a shot for lunch. While our server could have showed a bit more personality, she was cordial and quick. The beer was cold and our burgers were served up hot and tasty. It was Monday and burgers were half-price--how lucky was that? The atmosphere was pretty much like every other strip mall sports bar in Johnson County but I guess that's okay. Bottom line--I'm sure we'll be back!

My boyfriend and I love this place! It's right up the street so one day we figured we'd have to try it. Their wings are the best wings we've ever tasted. They have a deal with half priced apps m-f 2-5 and 10 wings are just 5 dollars. We go in about every other week!

Great place to grab some cocktails and a bite. Good food always busy with a friendly local buzz. You if all the locals are their then its worth a try. I've been there a few times and always had a great time. Prices are reasonable and happy hour is a bargain. Enjoy Ronn, just Ronn the wile in wall food guy!

Discovered this place online and saw 65 cent wings on Sunday. Wallaby's has your typical bar ware and atmosphere with TVs everywhere. I ordered the Big wall burger and hot wings. ( Wow it is taking awhile and there are not many people in here.) Got the wings and had to wait a little longer for my burger, cook forgot to put the cheese on it. The wings were really not that spicy but damn good. The fry them and then grill them which gives them a crunchy outside and juicy inside. I then got my burger, which was suppose to be like a big Mac and actually was a great improvement to the big mac. Even though the burger was well beyond the medium that I ordered it was still a good burger. The waitress was nice, but for the amount of people that were in there service was a bit slow. Wallaby's was your typical neighborhood bar and I am sure that most of the people in there were regulars. It kinda hides around the corner on 95th and Lackman, but is a good discovery. I would eat there again on a Saturday or Sunday for the wings and maybe try some of the the different goods, but only if I would be in the area.
