Good food, good drink, good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, service was quick and the food was pretty darn good. Patio is great for a gathering or hanging out on a nice day. Inside is clean and cozy. We will go again.

My wife and I have been here a few times. It is first a foremost a bar. After a few drinks, my wife rated the place on Yelp as good for kids... um... not really a place you want to bring your kids. If you like Bars with bar food, lots of TVs, and friendly bartenders, then this place might be for you! We found the drink prices to be in line with other places, and the food to be...well... bar food. I wasn't impressed with the food, but I wasn't dissatisfied with it either, and I would and will go again. I have zero complaints, except maybe the food was a tad pricey. The staff is great! Attentive, nice, and well deserving of kudos. Our experience is that there also is not a big crowd. If you are looking for that, maybe we just haven't been in there at the right times. The last time we stopped in on a Saturday, we were looking to celebrate an achievement, and did not find the place hopping. None of the places we really went to on 151st street that night were hopping, but the great news is that our quest to find excitement earned us both the Bar Fly badge... so thanks Paddy O'Quigleys for helping with that! The place doesn't suck. It doesn't rock your socks off either. It's just consistently average, and I find value in that when I need it. 3 stars. Check it out.

Arrived to Paddy O'quigleys on a Tuesday evening around 6:30. We grabbed the only available table left. Our initial service was quick and friendly. We put in our order for simple cocktails. They were brought to us by a new waitress who was equally as friendly. We placed our order of an Irish corned beef sandwich and a plate of nachos. Our meal service seemed a little slow. We heard the waitress telling the table next to us there had been a mix up in the kitchen with their order so we assumed the same for ours. When the food arrived it looked appetizing enough for bar food but the taste was underwhelming. Both dishes were lukewarm at most. I am consistently made fun of for my love of nachos so for me to criticize a plate of cheesy goodness, it takes a lot. The corned beef was average at best which is disappointing for an Irish themed establishment. Overall the wait staff was friendly but the kitchen needs a little work. If we return it will probably be to grab a couple beers at the bar and skip the food.

Good place to go for a beer with friends to watch sports...however the food is just mediocre. They do have an outdoor area as well which sometimes has live bands.

I was visiting a friend in the area and we stopped by to watch the royals game- great atmosphere. The staff was attentive and the food was tasty. The blue shots hit the spot.

Their waitresses are college girls and don't take it seriously and professionally .. If you are between 20 and 30 they check you out ..weird.. If your arms are big you have a good chance at being a regular in that bar.. Wednesday night Meg was at the bar and my drink never got refilled by her.

This O'quigley's location recently replaced the Blue Moose Grill. Very little has changed from the Blue Moose except the walls and the cushions on the barstools are green. Our table of five was right near the front door - the bartender served us and was great. Overall the food was fine. One person at our table didn't like her pile of burnt ends - the meat was tough and gristly. We appreciated that her order was replaced with no questions asked. All the staff is nice, several neighborhood people sitting at the bar watching the game, nice place to hang out if you're in the neighborhood.

Much has changed since the blue moose.....recent manager change has upset the atmosphere, but still a nice pub to relax and watch the game.

We came here when our place down the street was literally packed to the rafters. Paddy's is sterile and a typical "Irish" bar with faux Irish decor. It needs a little grime, dimmer lighting, and shadier people. Probably won't find that anywhere in SoJoCo, though. The bartender was fantastic, and it was a great place to talk and have a beer or two.

Love this neighborhood bar and grill! It's on the smaller side but that's what gives it its charm! There isn't a bad seat in the place and the patio os a great place to relax on the perfect weather days with an iced tea or adult beverage. I ALWAYS get the toms tuna melt and onion rings, they are my favorite "bar food". No it is not healthy but I'm not coming here for health food, I come here when I need to indulge in some bar food and atmosphere. My husband and I really enjoy coming here and this is is definitely one of our favorite go to, spur of the moment casual dining spots. We have never had bad service, our servers always have a smile on their face and are very friendly and attentive. That's a HUGE plus! We'll definitely be returning.

Recently visited and enjoyed the evening because I had great company (my husband of 24 years). Tried the buffalo sliders and beef sliders which were quite tasty, although I noticed that the texture of the chicken was less than sub-standard (like a cutlet), but the seasoning taste was simply great! Always love the tater tots! The inside was decorated to transport you away to an Ireland pub, although the numerous TVs made it a modern sports bar. We sat ourselves and waited awhile before our server came to take our order. Andrew, our server, took good care of us and was able to offer suggestions off the menu. Couldn't help but notice a waitress next to our table spending a lot of time flirting with the customers next to us and even sipping the drinks from the table. I am going to assume she knew them well. Always enjoy trying new places with my best friend and then getting the opportunity to share my experiences on Yelp!

The pork tenderloin here is great!! Very big, had to fold it in half to fit bun. And it wasn't paper thin. Had a bit of service troubles and it wasn't probably a big deal. But. The manager contacted me and righted the deal. That showed to me they really care about customer service and are always trying to improve. I will definitely return here. (Many times I'm sure)

It seems not too many people are educated on why Quigley's moved from their long standing spot at 119th and Roe to this location. I won't go into all the details but it wasn't their decision. Their new location has one of the best patios in all of Kansas City. It's huge and offers live music on the weekends. It's a great spot to go to on Friday night to have a few adult beverages and relax outside. I mean, patio weather is in full effect, so why not take advantage of it? The inside is nice, very well Irish themed. Good food, nothing too crazy. I mean, the menu hasn't changed from the 119th days, and their food was always on point. Plus, they have great ownership. If you come in, you'll nearly always see Tom or Judy hanging out and making sure things are running smoothly. Great place for JoCo!

I was at the original Paddy's on the day they opened in 1990. Spent many Saturday nights, Sunday afternoons, St. Patrick's Days, and Super Bowl Sunday's there and was bummed when the flagship location closed. With so many memories it is hard to like any other location as much. That being said the 151st and Nall location does have a great patio, the same cold beer, and plenty of tv's to catch your favorite team. Not a bad place to grab some chips, chili, and cheese (delicious), a Boulevard Pale Ale, and hang out with friends.

Went there for St. Patrick's day to help,a friend celebrate his birthday. Our party of 12 left because they jacked the food and beer prices up. Never heard of an Irish Pub taking advantage of their customers like that on St. paddies day. Will NEVER go back

Went to the new location last week after having gone to the old spot at 119th and Roe since it opened 20 years ago. The move may not have been their best decision. The place is much smaller than the old location. Our server seemed disinterested at best. We ordered two orders of nachos. Cheese was cold and not very well presented. I'll go back but I miss the old place.

I hadn't been to a Paddy O's since college days...it seemed so much cooler back then. It definitely caters to the JoCo crowd meaning it's clean and lacks that dingy bar feel which is nice. Service was quick and friendly but nothing about this place stands out for me. It is however a very close, convenient location.

My wife and I decided to head to Paddy O Quigleys for a Dinner on Saturday night 1/19/2013. Our waiter was Mitchell who was a nice server. It was hard to flag Mitchell down when we needed something but he was at least nice. I ordered the Cobb Salad and wanted the bacon and Cheese on the side. My wife ordered the Taco Salad. When our food came my salad had the the bacon on the side but they put the cheese on the salad. The bacon on the side was overcooked and tasted funny so I did not eat it. My wife did not like the taco salad on the first bite and would not eat it. So she flagged down our server and ordered a Turkey Club. My wife did not like the Turkey club either but did like the tator tots. When our bill arrived we were charged for both the taco salad and the turkey club! I could not believe it. I worked in the food business before and that in not standard to charge for something a customer did not like. I was not impressed with our visit.
