Good fries! It appears they put an extra bit of crispness on (like the old BK fries - only better). The burger is good too. Service takes a bit longer than an average McDs but this place is a step up. I recommend a sourdough bun and not the standard one. I would have given 4 stars but they serve Pepsi and not Coke.

Perfect shakes and tasty burgers. Sometimes simple wins. Great service too. There are several options for the ice cream, the shake was amazing. Classed up the typical fast food spot.

I don't usually eat at Spanglesâ„¢ because I think the food is way too salty, but I was in the neighborhood this morning and thought I'd go through the drive-thru to try a sandwich that had been highly recommended. I asked the young lady if they were serving lunch yet (10:47) and she said "yes." I ordered and proceeded to the window. AFTER taking my money she told me they had just started lunch and it would be a few minutes, so pull up to the yellow line. I politely told her that it would have been nice if she had mentioned that there would be a wait either when I had asked if they were serving lunch or at least before I had paid. I calmly explained that the idea behind a drive-thru is that most people who use it are in a bit of a hurry and had I known there was going to be a wait I would have just gone on about my biz. The old wagon tends to overheat, and it was about 90 degrees, so I shut it off and waited... A "few" minutes became a little over 5, then a little over 10 minutes. When I got to my office I opened the bag and---you guessed it---the order was WRONG. Wow.

Had breakfast there on April 17th 2015. Wish we wouldn't have, sourdough steak egg and cheese pack with coffee, French toast sticks and coffee! Sandwich was awful! Tough piece of meat, funny tasting eggs, hardly any cheese, sourdough bread was fried to long, burnt bread aftertaste. French toast sticks were completely flavorless! Coffee extremely strong. Three sugars in one cup and you couldn't taste any sweet! Thankfully passing through emporia so won't be going back. One star really one to many stars!!!

I love Spangles. The employees always seem to be happy. I normally only get breakfast there when I'm traveling in Kansas and their breakfast bowls are great. I like the good strong iced tea they provide also. Guess I'll have to start trying the lunch and dinner items too.
