Super food with super portions. Loved our post Symphony in the Flint Hills breakfast. Good service and great food on probably one of the busiest mornings they have :)

Great food both times we stopped in for breakfast. Both times the service was not so great. Other that your initial drink order do you see the server again until you food is served. On the whole that would be ok except for the fact I am a coffee drinker and both times our food took 45 plus minuets to come out. Over all while the food is good and the portion size is huge, Its not so exceptional to spend 2 hours on a meal.

My husband and I go here for breakfast almost every Sunday morning! Sometimes you have to wait around 5 minutes for a table but it is definitely worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have the best biscuits and gravy, it's all my husband will get! I also love the french toast. The pancakes are amazing but take some time to get to you, as I said before they are worth it. Don't listen to the bad reviews, this is your best choice for a friendly and delicious meal. We never leave here unhappy!

Real Home Town Cooking! Great food, friendly Staff and Homey atmosphere. What more could you want? I had the "Hungry Man" (B&G) and my wife had the Western Omelet. We split it up so we could try both. The 3-egg omelet was scrumptious with fresh eggs, lots of cheese and fresh tasty veggies. The B&G was loaded with big chucks of flavorful sausage with an extra patty to top it off. The generous portions were too much for us to finish. A great value for the money. One other thing. It was a cold morning and the diner was toasty warm (but not too hot). We'll be stopping here the next time we pass thru Emporia.

The other review is obviously related to this place. Horrible pancakes, and "the regulars" got all the service. Clicky place, food is not good, go somewhere else for breakfast, the pancakes were like sewer lids. Locals got all the attention of the waitress. Place was not busy, but we received horrible service like we were not supposed to be there.
