I absolutely love it here. I came here for work last year and got to stay a week. This year when I heard I was coming back for work, I called Enid right away. It feels like home. Delicious breakfast! Enid's pastrys are to die for. Everything she makes is hard to stop eating. Homemade cookies in your room everyday (and not just one, a whole jar!!!) The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and Enid and Curt are so friendly. They really make you feel like you are just part of their family. Whenever I come here, I never want to leave. It is also right in the heart of Downtown Dodge City, walking distance to pretty much everything. When here make sure you get to talk with Charlie (the greatest retired US Marshall in the world). You can't miss him, he is the guy wearing the spurs, boots, hat, badge and gun. If he has the time he will always take you somewhere and tell you all about it. He took us through the Boot Hill Museum and it felt like we had our own private tour guide. He is a wealth of knowledge and interesting facts about Dodge. I have no reason other then work once a year to go to Dodge City, KS. It is rather far from Seattle to just pop in for a visit but now I feel like I would want to just because of this little B&B. I haven't found one yet that has compared.
This was the first time we have stayed at a bed and breakfast. I am afraid that Enid and Kurt have set the bar very high and all of the rest will have a hard time living up to this. We were on our way from Texas to Colorado and thought we would stop in Dodge City to see Boot Hill with our 8yo boy. This location is excellent and we were able to walk to all of the tourist attractions. Rooms were very clean and spacious, and the complementary homemade cookies in the room on check in were amazing. I don't think I have ever eaten this much for breakfast before. There was coffee and fresh orange juice to drink. We also had fresh fruit, eggs to order, bacon, pan fried potatoes, and an assortment of the best homemade pastries. Honestly these pastries are worth driving back to Kansas from Texas. My mouth is watering just thinking about them now. You can't go wrong staying here.
As a frequent business traveler, I usually stay in big chain hotels. I was very fortunate, however, that on my trip through Dodge City both the Holiday Inn and Hampton were booked. Because of that I got to try the Boot Hill Bed & Breakfast. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. This would be a pleasant brake on a long road trip. The house is very charming, the bed quite comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. The hosts were very gracious in providing me with a ride from the airport as well, which was incredibly helpful (there aren't really any taxis).

Hidden little gem here in dodge city. Fresh flavorful Mexican dishes and even some Guatemalan dishes. Chips salsa always a plus. I recommend the house special. A savory fresh seafood soup with complex flavors and a rich decadent broth just a really treat for the senses. You won't be disappointed. The dish can easily feed two but I'm not sharing!

Good food! Friendly folks clean facility. Older building and booths have been kept up. Can't go wrong here.
Not normally a buffet kind of couple. But wow the breakfast here is awesome. Polite servers fantastic food. Highly recommend.
Ok yall truckers just a piece towards town ( as u leave flying J) and yes there is Trk and Trl parking! This is the place for big breakfasts. Looks like they R famous for pancakes. They R huge! I ordered the Ham & eggs with hash browns. I had to cut my ham in half to see my eggs! Lol must have been one pound ham steak. Hash brown taste like homemade. Hubby had poke chops , curly fries and salad bar. The pork chops were lightly breaded ( with seasoned flour same as chili rellineos) and deep fried to perfection. Sooo moist ( I had to have a bite). A bit too many fries but some people like a lot. The salad bar is delicious. Corn salad yum, potatoe salad yum, tuna fish yum, pickled cuc salad yum, and fresh sald greens. They even had fresh fruit! Tasted our watermelon this yr here! Yum!! So all in all it was a fabulous stop. Took about an hour from start to finish. So don't delay and come on in and seat yourself!!

I must admit, I was very surprised (and a bit skeptical) when I heard about Saigon Cafe Bistro. But being from the west coast, I had to give it a try. Boy, was I glad I did! I worked nearby for a week, and this was my go to place for lunch. The bistro staff is friendly, the food tasty and fresh, and the restaurant itself is modern, CLEAN, and inviting. This restaurant is a gem, and I hope the word gets out!! If I ever return to Dodge again, I will patronize this lovely restaurant again. Thank you!
Excellent com ga! Rice and chicken. Plates are served well, service is great only draw back is their hours of operation. They close much too early. Place is very clean although their ventilation sucks and its very smoky. Prepare to leave smelling like your food. Although, I have to repeat the food is delish! Their spring rolls and their Vietnamese rolls are excellent and fresh. Yummy.
This place is amazing! Went there to try it out and what a surprise. I like the environment and the service is really genuine. I really like the chicken rice plate, pho is good on the cold days, appetizers are delicious, their jumbo fried shrimp are the best around town and now they are having boba tea drinks! Try it out, I like it and it's not greasy like Chinese fast food!! :)

Visiting with family in Kinsley, and this Cali girl was craving some tacos... like the ones from the ghetto. So I found it! This place is authentic, and bonus no thugs loitering around the outside! Yes! Finally a place where hamburger meat is not an option on the menu. That seems to be the only option in Kansas. Hamburger this, hamburger that. But here they have CARNE ASADA! AND CEVICHE AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WILL MAKE YOUR MOUTH WATER. Unfortunately for me I couldn't finish half of my serving hahahaha. But I would say it is well worth the food coma. I recommend for everyone to try this place out! There's an option for everyone! Soups, tacos, tortas(delicious hot meat filled sandwiches), seafood, and something for the kiddies.
I had the #6 (tres tacos) dinner. Lengue. Buche. Cabeza. All were very good but the lengue was the best in this case. The dinner comes with small portions of rice (excellent), beans (good), guacamole (excellent), and a salad of lettuce/tomato/mayo. Add a spoonful of salsa to that salad and it is awesome. By the way, the chips are nothing special but the salsa here has a very complex flavor and a helluva kick!
Best mexi in dodge. Reasonable prices and delicious food. Don't expect anything fancy (strofoam plates, plastic forks) just expect great tasting food.

only been here once so far. i feel the menu is way overpriced. food that i recieved wasnt good but the beer and fried pickled made up for the salty soup. bacon bean soup is more than obviously from a can which normally i dont care as long as its good but it was so bad i barely touched it and ate fried pickles. the pickles were amazing. our waitress knew her beer and showed us samples to try which i felt opened the atmosphere and created a comfortable vibe. she really brought our damper moods right up. i really wish dodge just had a nice steakhouse. i wouldnt spend that much money when i can go pretty much anywhere (especially my own house) and get better food. i feel bad saying that because i was with a group. maybe if someone pays i go back but not till then. steak and beer isnt hard to do.
Great food! I ordered the Good Ol Boy steak sandwich which was very tasty. Went with a group and all were very pleased with their meals. A little pricy but worth it. The server was real attentive until the end when we were ready to leave, she took forever to separate our bills.
Very good food. The bacon wrapped shrimp were fabulous. Best thing I had. Overall good food and nice atmosphere.

Recently moved to dodge city from KC. Having been here for a while now, and having tried most of the Mexican places in town, this was the best. Food was terrific, drinks were good, service was good. Highly recommend
The food was overall fresh and service was good. I had the pastor tacos de pollo. Grilled chicken was delicious. It was grilled with onions and green peppers with lots of leftovers. The guacamole was bright green and looked/tasted like it was made just seconds before the food came out. BIG PLUS EH? We didn't have any drinks, but the drink menu was enticing.. just wasn't in the mood. There was a large beer selection, but I think they were all bottles. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. There's 3 flat screen usually playing soccer I assume. The place was clean and prices were right. I'd would def come back. There's also live music from 7pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
Great place to grab some delicious Mexican food. I ordered the combo plate with a chicken enchilada and beef tamale with a side of rice and beans. The tamale was my favorite, light and fluffy just the way they should be made. I was really looking forward to eating Mexican food because I was craving something spicy and then wash it down with Horchata. Sadly they do not offer Horchata.. But everything else was pretty amazing! Even the chips and salsa they bring out to you. Spicy salsa and chips that are not overly salted!

If you want a great steak, this is the place in Dodge City, in fact it rivals some of the best you can get in KC. Had the porter house, perfectly seasoned and cooked, at least 20 oz. for $25! Couldn't get this steak in KC for less than $50. Banana foster ice cream cake for desert is a must. Not a fancy place, but service was great. Highly recommend if you are in Dodge City!
Great service. Great food. We had a group of people and each person enjoyed their meal. Steak, French dip, patty melt, club sandwich, soup and sandwich. Really cold beer.
The steak was WONDERFUL! Service just ok, waitress seemed disinterested. There was a birthday party so the place was loud. The wheatberry sandwich was delicious. We read about the fried pickles in other reviews so we had to try... We like the thinly cut ones but these had a little bite to them and were very good! Will definitely stop in again for a nice tasty, perfectly done steak!
