Wifey and I had two different experiences from here today, mine 5 star, her 1. I got the drip coffee which was the 1681 blend from PT's Coffee and it was some of the best drip coffee I've ever had. Notes of tangerine, raspberry syrup, and almond. She had an iced latte with blackberry and it was way to sugary and she ended up pitching most of it. That being said they had all the correct equipment and seemed to care about their product. Go with drip coffee or ask for half sweet on the latte.

We had four different baked goods and various drinks. It was all delicious. This coffee house is such a gem in a small town. Everyone is so nice. My dad had a great conversation with another Vietnam Vet. A great place for delicious baked goods and coffee. You won't regret it.

In high anticipation, Utopia recently opened here in coffeyville. Two of our local ladies joined together to make a great place for locals to relax, drink good coffee and eat the many yummy pastries/cookies. . As they say..... its the perfect place to be. For months they have taunted me with their sign that said "for an explosion of yumminess!" ... at last my wait is over. Upon walking into the Utopia, it has a cute hip vibe to it. Modern chairs with a dash of retro. I've been dying to try their coffee. No Starbucks in miles of this town and a twinkle of hope for us fancy coffee drinkers is here! They have many flavors to choose from. I went for the White Chocolate Mocha. Which I told Robin (the co-owner of Utopia) she had to make. After all... you are a brista now! It was great! Not overly strong coffee like Starbucks can be, with lots of flavor! I didn't even have to add sugar! Great job, on the coffee! Ill be back very often for the coffee alone! So, now comes the hard part, the pastries... where do i began? What do I pick? I went for the old.... I'll take two of everything! lol They have a nice selection of items. Cookies, scones, cupcakes, biscotta and brownies. I got everything but the scones. Which is what I wanted first but they had one left. Which isn't my favorite kind, so I choose not to get it. As I got home and began to sample a bite of everything in the box. lol The snicker doodles won me over first! Everything has that homemade vibe to it. Which is great! They have REAL butter cream for the cupcakes. I'm not a big chocolate lover but my chocolate cupcake with butter cream icing was spot on! Oatmeal cookies.. Yum... Sugar cookies... pretty good... all cupcakes were great. My hubs says the peanut butter chocolate brownies were damn good. Peanut butter cookies were freakin awesome. All in all, if you don't make a trip down to utopia and try their selection. You are missing out. its cute hip and tasty! What else do you need? All my friends can be expecting gift cards from Utopia for Christmas!
