Good place!!!! Family fav for hometown breakfast :-) Can catch different sport teams playing on the big screens and the service is always friendly.
Good little greasy spoon. Food is always good, good breakfast, lunch and dinner. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Very polite staff.
Pleasantly surprised...especially for Edwardsville/Bonner. Breakfast was large proportions of good food for cheap prices; actually don't see how they make money. Service was exceptionally friendly, could even hear the kitchen staff having some chuckles. Clean atmosphere, which you wouldn't have thought looking from the outside. Give it a try!

Best Mexican restaurant we've ever been to. First impressions were the place was clean and modern. We were greeted promptly with chips and salsa and complimentary queso dip that happened to be delicious! Who does that?! They had us hooked there. Not to mention the freshness of the salsa, you can taste the cilantro and chunks of vegetables. They have a ginormous menu that neither of us looked at as my boyfriend got the special and I asked our server for a vegetarian option. The service we received was exceptional and we never had to ask for additional items. We will certainly be back next time we are in the area.
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is excellent & reasonably priced, and the staff could not be friendlier. Highly recommend!
It's decent. My parents always make me come here whenever I'm in town. I will say it would never be my first choice for Mexican. In my opinion the place is a hit or missed, and the same goes for the staff. The restaurant has really never impress me so I give it 3 stars based on that. It's a meh.

Kobi’s Bar & Grill

Yeaaa brotha what a biker bar should be but with great food! Wud up Shane my five star chef?!
Fortunately, Kobi's is near the highway, since my lovely Google Maps/GPS decided to FAIL me while I was on my way to somewhere I'd never been before. It's just around the corner from the Dairy Queen. The service was good, the food was good, the waitress/bartender was great, and they have great daily specials, even a men's night, with half priced drinks for you fellas! (Yes, they have a ladies night too.) Most of all, at least on my initial and only visit thus far, the people were very friendly and genuine. Granted, I was acquainted with two of the people there already, but the rest were very welcoming. In some bars, when an unknown female walks in the bar, she is greeted by the rest of the women with a 'wariness', but I didn't get that at all. While it's a bit far to be a regularly visited bar, I'll stop in on Tuesdays now and again in the future. Thanks y'all for a fun evening!
I am not the typical Kobi's customer because I don't ride a Harley and never have, and this place is most definitely a "biker bar." During peak hours or community events, don't be surprised to find that it's standing room only! That's actually one of the things that keeps me from going more often, but it can be a lot of fun when I'm in the mood for hopping. I will say that they have better-than-average bar food and during the week, you'll find friendly people who quickly get to know you. The owner, Vicky, genuinely cares about what her customers think and has gone so far as to search out my phone number to let me know that she made a change she thought my husband and I would like. That impressed me a lot, since we're only "infrequent regulars" who went weekly for about a year and still visit every couple of months. (We actually met at Kobi's a few years ago, so the place will always have a special place in my heart!) The smoking area is outside, where you'll probably smell the smoker slow-cooking the next day's special. Don't miss the cheesecake while you're there. Parking is either on the street, across the street at the grocery store's parking lot, our behind the bar, where you can enter through the back door.

Brewer’s Price Chopper

Reviews:
I really like this price chopper. I have one closer to my house but this one is cleaner and has a better selection. The produce is fresh and nicely displayed. I like the meat counter too.
Only been to this store once with a friend, but the time I went it seemed like a well kept store. The staff was friendly and there was a sale so of course we made out good at the store this time around. I do recommend shopping here for your groceries or at least come and check it out.
I stopped in this Price Chopper to find an item I couldn't find across the street at Wally World. I was looking for couscous, and I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. Once I got past all the vivid advertisements for football season and the cardboard NASCAR cutouts, I ventured over a few aisles and found what I was looking for. Not only does Price Chopper have couscous, they have the largest selection of couscous I've ever encountered. There were no fewer than ten kinds here. Granted, the only item I purchased this day was couscous, but I'll probably return to this store in the future. I was also impressed with the amount of Kansas Sate fan items available for purchase in the checkout lane. Price Chopper is a huge supporter of Big 12 athletics!

Twisters Grill & Bar

Reviews:
First - the service and staff are absolutely GREAT! I have NEVER had as nice service as we get at Twisters. Second - the FOOD is WONDERFUL! My family and I eat here at LEAST once a week. From the HUGE Chicken Fried Steaks to the Mountain of Nachos or All-American Monster Hamburgers, if you leave hungry - it's your own fault! THAT SAID - they have a NEW MENU - & some of the food is now over the $10 limit for the one $ rating. IT IS STILL WORTH IT, but I believe in full disclosure. And you can order until 11pm on Fridays & Saturdays! Third - the Friday night DJ - he's fun & keeps the karaoke crowd engaged (even though the music gets a LITTLE loud sometimes), and let's as many people sing as he can - & they do! Okay - WE do - it's kind of fun sometimes! :-) They are accommodating to parties and, until about 10pm, it's a GREAT place for families, too! After 10, they still let you bring in your children, but it's more an adult atmosphere.
My second visit was better than my first. :) Tracy was a great waitress; the food was still good, but the fries were still questionable. Great drink specials!
We went to Twisters last night with a large party. I ordered the Flying Monkey (only 4 beers on tap) and the soft tacos. We also had the chips, salsa, and queso. Salsa had great flavor and was spicy, but not light your mouth on fire spicy. We had Cori as a waitress and she was friendly and attentive. I was worried about 2 soft tacos filling me up, but they were huge! Taco meat was good and I got the queso on top as well. Great time. The ONLY reason why they didn't get 5 stars was the selection of beer on tap. I didn't ask about the bottle selection, but after reading the rest of the reviews, that sounds like where the selection is. We will definitely be back!

Bonner Springs Pizza Company

I came in expecting a dive pizza place with frozen dough and canned marinara. I was pleasantly surprised. The dough is well made, fluffy, yeasty dough similar to Chicago style hand tossed (my favorite). I tried the cheesy pizza sticks appetizer and a calzone. The appetizer could have been a meal by itself and was fantastic. The calzone was cooked perfectly but could have used a bit more cheese on the inside. I will definitely come back for the buffet lunch or Wednesday buffet dinner to try more menu items to find my favorites.
We got there right when they opened at 4 pm on a Saturday during a busy event weekend (Tiblow Days). It's a basic dining room - no frills - but I noticed right away that the table we chose wasn't cleaned from the previous guests (and the restaurant had closed after the lunch hour). We cleaned it ourselves, no one came to wipe it down. Our party of 4 adults and 3 kids ordered the 2fer special, which is two large pizzas and cinnamon dessert for $1. The restaurant started to fill up quickly, and a few other tables received their meals. We waited more than 45 minutes for our pizzas. That's a long time to wait. We started kidding that they must have had to slaughter the pig to make the pepperoni. When the food came, it was delicious. We got a pepperoni and bacon pizza and a buffalo chicken pizza with Alfredo sauce. It was much better than your average pizza place. The cinnamon dessert pizza was very good and had just the right amount of icing. Our waitress was attentive enough but wasn't very familiar with the menu and had issues answering questions about portion sizes. I think next time we'll try carry-out and see if the wait time is better. Bottom line - I'd say 4.5 stars for food and 2 for atmosphere and cleanliness.
Not bad but not great. We went in for lunch and my family's pizza dough was undercooked, and the "loaded" salad I ordered was nothing more than lettuce and some rolled up pieces of turkey lunch meat. Don't be fooled by the "lunch buffet" either...it's just a slice of pizza and a very, very small salad buffet. Good if you're in a pinch, but not worth the drive.

Great Chinese food! Their portions are massive and prices are cheap. I can easily get 2-3 meals out of my order, no matter what I choose. They also have a great variety and service is always friendly and prompt. Their crab Rangoon is the best around, and soups are nice and thick with great flavor. They also serve a pretty good breakfast!
I was pleased at the service my husband and I got. We got the family dinner and all was great. There was only 1 other couple in the restaurant. Fast service and nice.
Good Chinese. Awesome service. Cheap! We always get: 2 Hot tea 2 Egg drop soup 1 Sesame chicken ALL under 20 bucks. Fast service.

Yummy...What more can I say? The Meatloaf panini and the nutella cheesecake is amazing! We stop there everytime we go to Bonner Springs and I had to make a special trip just for our exchange student to have her last US meal there.
The owner was rude, loud and aggressive. My son and I went because we obviously love cheesecake! We were both uncomfortable due to the man working, he was constantly ranting and complaining. Weird experience, didn't much care for the cheesecake either. After posting my review I reviewed others thoughts and this guy is obviously a quack. His responses to the problem with his attitude others have also had, is basically to get over it he is awesome. I don't know how a company with such poor customer service can still be in business.
Anyone who has eaten at many of the city's finest restaurants has most likely had a slice of what is a premier signature KC product, Cowtown Cheesecake. If you had it, you probably loved it too. Well, save your money on that expensive restaurant, Bonner has a new sweetheart, literally. We went to the grand opening of Chef Terry Mille's brand new home and it was a really amazing sight to behold. Chef Terry himself is there daily and there is no mistaking that he serves many of what put him on the map, but much much more. His latest is the Bourbon Glazed Cronut. He cannot keep enough of these made to meet demand. The coffee is great and supplied by Roasterie. The Cafe itself is small, but very inviting and bright. It's a good place to start your day. Plus the Cafe is on the Downtown Bonner strip! What truly makes the place is Chef Terry who loves his patrons and always shares his appreciation. So get thee to Bonner and have a cronut... just get there early. ;-)
