Zionsville Pizzeria was previously known as Zionsville Pizza Delivery, and they have since grown to offer a sit down restaurant along with delivery. Zionsville Pizzeria is in quaint downtown Zionsville, and it is a great example of a hometown pizzeria as the owners grew up in Zionsville and have raised their children there. Its location combined with the option to eat outside makes it an ideal spot to enjoy pizza during nice weather. We started our meal with their breadsticks that come basted in garlic butter and sprinkled with a cheese blend, and we doubled up on the garlic butter by adding it as a dipping sauce because we had heard rumors of their tasty garlic before visiting Zionsville Pizzeria. After enjoying our breadsticks, we ordered a hand tossed pepperoni pizza as well as a thin crust sausage pizza with their famous garlic sauce replacing the standard marinara. I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza as their hand tossed crust was nice and airy, but I think the sausage and garlic pizza was the better of the two options. The amazing thing about the sausage and garlic pizza is that the flavor of the sausage actually stood out to me even more than the garlic, and I greatly enjoy garlic. They add their own blend of oils and spices to the sausage to really take it up a notch. Zionsville Pizzeria also offers a lunchtime buffet and many other items besides pizza, and I definitely recommend them if you find yourself hungry while enjoying downtown Zionsville.

The pizza was good! Service was good! Loved having the option to have a beer. It was laid back enough for us to have the kids which is what we are always looking for. I always like having a chance to sit outside as well!

As the other reviews have given this spot a collective 3, I get it. Staff and owner seem friendly, but Zionsville Pizza was OK at best. We ordered take out and drove over to pick up. Take out salad bar was dismal (see photo). Originally, they gave us small 4x4 plastic container and we were kind of shocked because maybe you could have fit a piece or lettuce and a tomatoes in there. They then provided us a larger styrofoam container that made more sense. Don't go for salad though, not their strong suit. Pizza was OK. I've had better, I've had worse, just OK. Breadsticks were good. Fluffy, hot and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. They do have a little outdoor seating area, which was cute and nice. Maybe a cute place to meet a friend or bring your kids. It's not big, just a couple tables.

The pizza isn't great, even if cooked properly. But it wasn't. The dough was undercooked - raw. It's the most important part of the pizza. They have good customer service which is great. But still, won't come back.

Not bad but not good either. Kids had the buffet which was very affordable $4.99 includes drink. My kids got the $ worth. I had a personal size pizza for myself. The crust was too doughy but I will take the leftover home and bake it some more. Toppings weren't cooked through. Waitress struggled though not really a big deal to me as this was just Friday night dinner. A couple got up and left when no one took their order. Restaurant needs a bus boy. All in all nothing special but worth a shot.

The owner is friendly and accommedating, now for the food..salad bar/pizza buffet for 9.99 was a good buy. Different pizzas, salad, and drink. The hand tossed pizza was tasty and sauce typical for American pizza. The flat bread was perfectly baked and crunchy. They offer sandwiches and wraps along with penne pastas and wings. The location in right downtown, but with another pizza place a few blocks down Zionsville Pizzeria might have a difficult time, but I wish them well.

The pizza is some of the best we've had, it's a true treat. We have ordered from them for 5 years now. We always order the Deluxe and eat it all! The only reason I'm giving 4 not 5 stars is due to the shortness of their employees. Haven't been happy with them, not at all. We have never dined in for this reason, just carry out, and just about every time- they confirm my beliefs that their personal touch in customer service needs help!

Just moved to Carmel and had been searching for a good pizza place. On my way home after traveling for 14 hours I googled and found this place. I called in and placed an order. After arriving at the pizzeria(Which was 25 minutes out of my way) the girl who took my order said that they had made the wrong pizza and tried to call me but I did not answer ( this was due to her writing down the wrong number. I had to wait 20 mins for them to make another one. I can deal with them getting the wrong number and wrong pizza. The issue was when I asked for some sort of compensation she said she would talk to the manager. The manger did not even say sorry just gave me 10% off which equated to a few dollars. Keep in mind that this was my very first visit and you would think they would have wanted to do something a little bit better for the inconvenience. The pizza was good but due to the service I am not sure if I will be back. Very frustrating. Am I wrong in this thinking?....?

For all of the cute places offered in downtown Zionsville, I was disappointed that my first restaurant experience was here. With lively Friendly's across the street, that's where I really wanted to spend my evening. Even so, I was more than happy to give Zionsville Pizzeria a shot. Well. The pizza? It was good, but not great. The service? It was good, but not great. Not that this is a necessity, but apparently this place used to serve alcohol but that's no longer the case. Kind of a bummer, huh. Just not my favorite place. Sorry!

Awesome pizza buffet and a great price at 8 dollars. They have a variety of pizza and keep them coming out hot as they are eaten. The crust is nice and doughy with a good crisp outer layer. The sauce is just the right combo of sweet and savory and the toppings are plentiful. I will definitely add this to my lunch rotation. I would like to add that I was here for lunch so service wasn't a big part of the experience. Also, I am glad I didn't read the other reviews before coming as I may have ruled it out. The service was outstanding!

The service was really bad. I heard the lady server apologize to another table, saying that someone called in sick, which happens, but there were 2 servers but only 3 tables! We started with breadsticks and cheese. The sticks were great but the cheese was very cold, but we got that microwaved once we went and got our server. We had to ask for refills every time. No one ever came to check on us, even when he put the pizza down, he just ran off! They got our toppings wrong on the pizza, but we still ate it because we didn't feel like finding our server and we didn't want to wait. The pizza was just okay, at best. There's 6 other pizza places in town, if the pizzeria can't compete in price, quality or service, then there's no need for us to go back.

My family loves this little pizza place! The lunch buffet is always fresh and delicious and they're always happy to put in a specialty pizza for you. The price is good too.

Wife stopped in for lunch and recommended them for dinner. I order a large pizza to go. 1/2 and 1/2. My half with pepperoni and mushrooms. I counted 2 pieces of pepperoni and maybe one piece of sliced mushroom on each piece on my side. Crust was good as was the sauce. Pitiful for a $20 pizza. I've had better frozen pizza. There is a lot of competition in the Zionsville pizza market. They are gonna have to up their game to compete. Will not return. The Unknown Diner says it stinks!

I decided to try Zionsville Pizzeria because they had a coupon on Restaurant.com and they are located in beautiful downtown Zionsville. The patio is right on Main Street with a great atmosphere for a date or family dinner. Inside the restaurant was slightly dirty and the buffet looked not-too-fresh. We ordered a Deluxe (read: supreme) pizza on thin crust. The pizza took a very long time after we ordered it; just over 30 minutes and there was only one other group of people dining that evening. Even though the pizza took some time, it was worth it. As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I take my pie serious. This one wasn't the best I have ever had but it was pretty good. Our server was also very friendly and polite. Overall, it seems like this pizzeria only needs a good cleaning and quicker service to take it to the next level. It is right in line with Greek's which is located down the street. I would try it again but only when using a coupon. Without a Groupon or Restaurant.com coupon the menu is slightly overpriced.

First time we came here, we loved it. Second time, the pizza was still good, but the service was awful. We were the only customers in there for about 45 minutes, and it still took us an hour and a half before we left. They ran out of the barbecue sauce for our pizza and the blue cheese dressing for our salad. When we went to pay, they overcharged us and were confused about our bill when we explained it to them. Not worth going back.

My family and I were looking to try a new pizza place in Zionsville and decided to order from here. Loved this pizza! We ordered sausage and onion and it was delicious! Salad was also delicious, so fresh, and presentation was very appealing! I think we found our new go-to favorite pizza place! Yum!

Learned from their website that this is actually a dine-in pizzeria now - Zionsville Pizzeria, and they've moved (255 S Main Street). We stopped in here when we were in Zionsville for the Porsche Club of America CruZionsville event. A cozy little eatery, the day we visited they were offering a pizza and salad buffet. The pizza was delicious - fresh toppings and the crust was not too crispy, and soft and chewy in some places. Their breadsticks are wonderful, too! Service was prompt and attentive, prices reasonable, and we had a great window seat to view both the beautiful vehicles and people watch.

Love the all you can eat weekday buffet--pizza, salad, soup, breadsticks with marinara dipping sauce. It all looks and tastes so fresh--it just begs you to eat more and more :) Everything is constantly being added to--no shortages at any station. All is made in house, and it's delicious. The restaurant is clean and bright (love the little sparkling lights that crisscross the ceiling--so festive!) It is located on Main St. across from the public parking lot--it just doesn't get any easier! Treat yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Ate here for the first time tonight. It was ok. I didn't realize they had a pizza buffet until after we already ordered. I ended up spending $30 on a medium pizza, breadsticks, and waters. My son and I could have eaten for $15 with the buffet which would have included salad. I heard the server tell others when they were seated about the buffet, wish I would have known. The crust had a flavor that was pretty good. Unlike any pizza I've had. Pretty doughy. It felt like it could have used a few more minutes in the oven. It's a cute enough place, we'll probably try it again and go for the buffet.

Such a cute and cozy pizza place downtown Zionsville. Found out about this pizzeria from my company Christmas gift cards and we loved it! My husband loves pizza and we thought we would head into Zionsville for a nice dinner together. We were sat in a nice area near the tv and the owner was working, serving, and greeting customers. Truly a family oriented place and very friendly. Service was great and we will definitely be back soon. Great experience and great food! Especially the meat lovers pizza and garlic breadsticks! :)

Terrible service.. Waited with empty drinks for 30 mins. Food was not coming out of the kitchen and the waitress was not giving us any updates. Once she took our plates away she never came back, had to grab her to get us the bill then she tells us that the groupon we had can not be used from our phone. Had to print it off even though it said use from mobile or print. Will not return. Food was just ok. Tasted like any other chain but you will get better service anywhere else.

Now open for dine in, this place used to be delivery only. They are now in a new location, just a few hundred feet from the old one. Excellent pizza with very fresh ingredients. We had a chicago sausage, fresh basil, and chopped tomato deep dish. The crust fell over for some reason because they're still working out the kinks on their deep dish, but very good overall. To us, the cheese really makes the difference. We grew up outside of chicago, so we are pizza snobs. Can't wait to try their hand tossed. Decent prices for deep dish. I would definitly compare them to roselli's or Nancy's. We will certainly be back. Good texas cheese toast as well. Clean restaurant in a great location in downtown Zionsville. It's hard for us to find a good pizza place, and I'm glad we stumbled upon this one!
