Great whole in the wall bar. Owner is super friendly and nicely run. Its a really nice change from the crazy campus bars that are always crowded. This is more of a sit back and relax bar. They have a pool table that is usually in use. Good atmosphere all around

I lived on coffee from the Village for a few years. Hands down the best coffee on campus. For those who don't like coffee there is a great selection of lattes and hot drinks. The Village also has a wide food menu including vegan options, a rarity around Purdue's campus, and pastries that rival those of any major city bakery.

Coldest ice around! The frozenest! They even take the bread out for you! No more mustardy hands for me! Order online and get XTRA toppings! Stack that chedda! Or provolone! So cheesy! Maybe swiss if that's what you are into! Crazy! Eat sandwiches when you are sweaty! Jimmy johns is magical with a capital m! In other words, Magical!

I've been here twice now and each time was an excellent experience! I'm vegan and have to eat gluten free also. Each time the person preparing the pizza was extremely careful, and very aware of cross contamination issues. Most importantly, I didn't have a gluten reaction after eating here. I called beforehand to see if the gluten free pizza crust contained any animal products and the lady was sweet enough to read each ingredient to me over the phone. They actually care about your experience and your business. Not to mention the pizza was AMAZING and very flavorful!!! Above and beyond excellent customer service!!This is now my go to pizza place.
I went here with a friend because we were trying to find some deep dish pizza. This is the only pizza shop in town that offers authentic deep dish, and it tastes amazing! Also, the toppings are free so this pizza is delicious and super affordable. And the service is friendly, we were helped by Jennifer and she was running the store by herself and was extremely friendly and helpful as well as fast! I would recommend this place to everyone!
BEST LAFAYETTE/WEST LAFAYETTE GLUTEN FREE PIZZA This is by far the BEST gluten free pizza I've had anywhere. There is some risk for cross contamination, but the owner is very knowledgeable and upfront with the risk. I have a gluten sensitivity, and the pizza I had was free of consequence. I've been there twice and the quality is very consistent. Also, Noble Roman's does not charge for toppings. I don't know of any other Lafayette/West Lafayette restaurant where you can get a supreme pizza (plus a few more toppings) on a 12" crust for $11. My boyfriend is not a gluten free diet, so we get one of each pizza. They always make mine first. Conveniently enough, his bakes on the middle rack and the gluten free on the bottom so it really works out for both of us. Noble Romans is an all around win, both taste and value. Check it out!!!

Food is outstanding. Had saganaki and gyros. Both were great. The highlight was the outstanding baklava!!! If you like Greek food, this is as good as it gets in the area!!!
This is my favorite restaurant in the West Lafayette/Lafayette area. The gyros are absolutely the best and the other food is also super tasty. The service is quick and the people are very nice!
They're friendly, quick, and put out homemade food that tastes as fresh as it is. Have gone multiple times and always enjoy the food. Their homemade gyros are delicious, and pairs well with some Greek beer (Alfa). The lemon rice soup was good, too. I wish the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) held together a bit more, but they were still tasty. They also make a good cup of Greek coffee for those that need a quick pick-me-up. The menu is pretty extensive, so I'm sure most anyone can find something to please their palate.

The first time I went this place I had a lunch box with a soup and spicy pork. The soup was fine but the pork was over-seasoned and dry. Overall the meal was not good. I was wondering if I ordered wrong stuffs giving the high rating by other reviewer so that I went there for a second time. The chicken soup with potato my friend ordered tastes okay but it was lukewarm. I ordered a hotpot with mushroom and beef. It was nothing special. Considering this place was just opened, I hope it will improve over time.
Get dduk man doo gook (rice cake and dumpling soup) and dak bok eum tang (chicken soup). The first soup I mentioned is sweet and the latter is spicy. They're each 9.99. Updating my review since I finally found something delicious on their menu. This is my 5th time at the restaurant.
Worth it! Cheaper than GAZA! The hotpot is super spicy and unlimited rice is a plus.

Majé Sushi

Reviews:
I hesitated between 3 and 4 starts but I eventually settled on 3 just because of how long the delivery took. I ordered 2 rolls and it took about an hour to be delivered. I haven't ordered delivery from any other sushi places so I can't compare, but the delay will keep me from ordering too often. The prices are not bad for sushi, and the quantity is average. We ordered a Love Purdue roll which was my favorite and the other one was a majé special roll with shrimp. I would definitely order the Love Purdue roll again but the other was not memorable. Overall, I think the sushi was good, but I wish they had a dine-in option or faster delivery. For this reason, I will most likely visit Maru and Kokoro when I need to satisfy my sushi cravings.
Absolutely one of the best places for sushi I have had! The purdue love roll is amazing and I have to try a new in addition everytime!
The sushi here is good, but because of how small the place is, there's not much of a variety on the menu. Many of the rolls aren't too original, but they do have some that stick out. For example, the alaskan tapioca roll is smoked salmon wrapped in tapioca paper - very tasty. The store isn't somewhere you can really sit down and eat at; there are only 3 or 4 chairs at the "sushi bar" and then 2 or 3 by the window where people just sit to wait for their orders to be done. This is more of a carry-out type place. The people who work there are also very friendly. DO NOT order delivery from them; it takes forever. I'm not sure why it takes over an hour and a half to get 2 rolls delivered about 8 blocks away.

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Always fresh. Always fast. Love this Chipotle! Compare this to the Chipotle in Lafayette, and you will be amazing! Absolutely no complains here.
Awesome food always. The staff is friendly and very quick with orders especially when it's busy. Last time I was here, we got white rice that was not fully cooked. The manager replaced our entrees right away, apologized, and wrote our names on a list for another free entree upon our next visit. Now that's what I call customer service!
As others have said, typical Chipotle. They manage to move a line of people through the college town lunch rush quite efficiently. The rice and guac are both better than the other chain burrito restaurants. Ordered a burrito with the new sofrito tofu which was kind of hard to taste among everything else. That won't stop me from ordering it though since its the same price as the veggie. Hooray for veggie options!

Clean, great subs. Fresh Lemonade, buns and Fries! Had philly steak sub. Tender and juicy. Plenty. Minus pizza sauce for me thou. Must be a Philly thing.
Love the Italian subs, great fries & excellent lemonade. A little pricey for subs though.
Good food and friendly staff! Though it can be a little expensive compared to other places, it is worth it and can fill you up. My girlfriend enjoyed the freshly squeezed lemonade, I tried it as well and it is good as it is not that sweet and quite refreshing.

Harry’s Chocolate Shop

Reviews:
One of the many bars around Purdue, but this is easily the one with the most history and tradition. This is always one of the busiest bars on campus, especially on weekends with sporting events as there are quite a few alumni that love to come back to this place. Some students don't like this bar initially because it looks really old and almost run down at times, but this is one of those places that grows on you as you go back more and more. There are two levels here, the main floor which you can tell has seen a lot of people due to the writing on the walls, and the upstairs which provides more area for seating. They have a wide variety of drinks and a fun atmosphere. There's also free popcorn and the infamous birthday shot. One of the latest places to open for Breakfast Club, but one of my favorites because they usually have the hardest drinks on campus.
I love this place. Yeah it gets crowded - if you don't like crowded bars, go somewhere else! You're on a college campus, if you go to a bar that doesn't get crowded, is it really that cool to begin with? (Chumley's not included in that, that place rules). As for large amounts of "greeks" that go there, don't forget Purdue has the 3rd largest greek system in the country. Who gives a shit anyway? I won't bother you. I mean, they won't bother you. Strong shots, pretty cheap drinks, and I think the only place I've seen that has stainless steel urinals and toilets. You won't find drink specials here, because let's face it, they don't need specials to get people in the door. The scum on the floor, the burnt popcorn, and the sweaty college kids are the real draw here! I like it, I love it, and miss it like hell.
Perhaps the best way for me to describe Harry's Chocolate Shop is that it is America in bar form. Friendly folks, efficient bartenders, and drinks that pack a punch. What this place lacks in aesthetics, it more than makes up for in charm. The atmosphere is inviting and unpretentious, and it doesn't matter if you're 21 or 101, you'll feel welcome there. If you're anywhere near West Lafayette, Harry's is a must-visit because it is the quintessential college bar. Go Ugly Early to this speakeasy turned Purdue legend today.
