I had a wonderful meal here today. The food was great and the service spectacular. I love the small town, mom and pop feel of this cozy place where the servers know everyone's name who comes through the door and the local farmers congregate to hold court on how the corn is growing and gas prices. This is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the traffic go by. Be sure to save room for pie -- it's fantastic!

The Corner is under new management. Now non-smoking, it is a small town restaurant with a friendly wait staff serving generous portions of down home food. Some esoteric offerings are also served from time to time such as alligator and frog legs. Breakfast is served anytime. Table 12 is reserved at breakfast for the locals but they don't bite.

Best fried potatoes around & great ham. Plenty big portions. And by the way, they take plastic as of recently. It's also now a no smoking restaurant.

Food was ok. They do not take any form of plastic so bring cash. It was a small mom and pop type of place with lots of senior citizens. This is also a smokey restaurant so beware. It was a cheap decent meal. Wouldn't recommend to anyone but might go back myself as long as I didn't have my kids with me (because of the smoking) for a cheap sit down meal.

Great food, & service, in historic downtown location. The locals have contracted for a massive painting, across the street, & viewed from this cafe entrance. Our food was great, the waitresses & locals "FRIENDLY, & makes us want to return.

First off I loved the cozy look and feel of the cafe! My food was very good amd at a price that was more than fair. I had the BLT basket that was plentiful with good crisp bacon and nice crisp krinkle fries. My server was young and polite but not overly attentive. I saw an older gal in there that all of the customers seemed to know and that helped cash out my check. I am only giving 4/5 as an incentative for them to work with newer younger servers on speed and glass refills. I was on a leisure lunch, but had I been on the clock it did take a few for a BLT. I do plan on returning for sure and upgrading to yhe fifth star I am sure. Food only it wad a 5 accompanied by some hometpwn charm.

Had breakfast there yesterday. Of course ordered pancakes and the wife got a veggie omelette. We got hug portions but the surprise came at the end when we got our check....$9.00 and some change. I thought there was something wrong with the bill but there wasn't. That's about half the price of what we would have paid anywhere else. Great food, great service, unbelievable prices!

Looking for a small, local place to have breakfast while in Rushville? Well, this place is definitely it!! My coffee mug was always full (some days... this is a HUGE must for me), food came out hot and was a super generous portion size. I definitely would come back!
