This is a great, local Starbucks that truly cares about their customers and does a great job getting to know them. When I visit, they will shock me by remembering my name and remembering my preferences. The staff is quick but thorough, and the store inside is clean, and well maintained.

At first I found the staff at this Starbucks rather rude and unhelpful. But the last year I've had exceptional service and always left well caffeinated and smiling. I now know a couple of the workers by name and vice versa and that's always super great. The inside of this Starbucks is small but cozy. The Drive-thru is usually quick but the parking limited and the one way can be confusing for 1st timers. I love me some white chocolate mocha and their breakfast sandwiches. Having the rewards card is a must if you're a regular. Free coffee is never a bad thing!

You know what? I'm not afraid to admit it. I love Starbucks. I'll shout it from the rooftops! I LOVE STARBUCKS! I love the indie music they have playing, I love the breakfast sandwiches and the coffee cakes (mmm, chocolate-banana) and I love my venti chai soy latte. To me, going to Starbucks is like pampering yourself with a massage or a shopping spree, except it only costs me $5 to $7. I feel just a little fancy every time I walk in there. Yes, I've gone to local coffee shops, and they just don't cut it. The drinks might be a little cheaper, and I might be supporting the local economy, but they aren't as good. Anyway, this particular Starbucks is the only one within 50 miles of me, so it gets a lot of my business whenever I'm close by. Everyone there is really friendly, but the drive-thru can be a little slow at times. That's okay. I will park in the woefully tiny parking lot and go in to support this corporate behemoth no matter what!

Thank goodness for Starbucks in this little town full of fast food joints. It is located in a newly built/renovated plaza 2-3 miles off of I-70 but a good cup of coffee (and friendly service!) is always worth the trip.

I actually visited this place twice in the same day so I had the opportunity to see two different shifts. In the morning, I walked in and waited for a few minutes while all the employees were working on other things. I found this pretty annoying, especially since no one greeted me or said something like "I'll be with you in a minute." The morning experience was pretty perfunctory, but I guess I got my coffee and that's what I came for. Later that afternoon I came back for a cheese plate. Turns out they don't sell those so I got a doppio and a piece of delicious coffee cake. The espresso was pretty good with plenty of crema. The service was much better and the staff was very friendly. I guess they just needed to wake up.

I am actually okay with Starbucks in general, but this is the worst Starbucks I have ever visited. I will amend that by saying that all of the other Starbuck's that I have frequented in major urban areas, so the training was probably better and the food had a higher turnover rate. But I now know to never order any pastry while using the drive through, as there is a really high likelihood that it will be stale (that happened to me three times over a period of a couple of months... which meant that half the time my pastry was inedible). I have even had to return food while sitting in the store, so I know they were not just pawning stale stuff off on the drivers. I still go there, as there are literally no other coffee shops in the city (at least not that I have found), but I would prefer to go somewhere else that didn't require an hour drive.

I want to start by saying I have always enjoyed Starbucks. I have also never felt the need to write a negative review of any experience. I am from Indianapolis and am in Richmond visiting family. I went through the drive thru and ordered a tall pumpkin spice latte. The lady working the drive thru was very friendly and personable. My husband was driving and after taking two tiny sips, I took the lid off. The whipped cream was melting off and I wanted a good sip before it melted. That's when I realized the drink was only a little over half way full. Since we weren't too far away (and paid four dollars for a coffee), we decided to turn around so I could go in to show them and maybe get it filled up more. When I came up to the man working the cash register and showed him my drink and explained we had just left the drive thru, he asked if it was an espresso- I said no and told him the drink. He took the cup and told me in an accusatory tone that "we never give out half-full drinks." I felt like I was being civil and didn't necessarily give him a reason to be defensive. There was no "I'm sorry, it must have been an accident"- which is what I thought it was in the first place-an accident. He made me feel like I went and poured half the coffee out in order to come in and get more. Anyway, the lady from the drive thru handed me a new-and full--pumpkin spiced latte. She was still friendly. Anyway, what was meant to be a quick trip through the drive thru for a fall favorite turned in to me writing my first ever review on Yelp because of a rude man working the cash register. (On a side note, I worked as a waitress all through college so I have dealt with many similar situations-and have had people who were very rude complain to me. I never accused the customer of being wrong- even if I felt like they were in the wrong.)

I really like this store from the first day it opened up to the last time I went there with my girlfriend. It seems to always have friendly people working, and they seem to have it together enough that they do not have long waits! I really like their teas and their Frappuccino's. Seems to me to be a little bit price for a cup of coffee, but then again, Starbucks has a atmosphere that I really like. Overall I really like this place, and would recommend to everyone!

This is an excellent Starbucks. All of the employees are SUPER friendly and my drinks are always awesome. This location is almost always busy - the drive-thru line is often 6 or 7 cars long. One time, the drive-thru worker offered to give me my drink for free if I sang my order. I actually did not take them up on that - but the guy behind me did! He sang his order and got a free drink :) I've never gotten a wrong order or bad drink here. I almost always go when I'm in Richmond. :)

I pondered how to write this review for a long time. I usually don't bother to review Starbucks at all except when I find something exceptional or when it's not so great. Unfortunately, this location falls into the latter category. I have only been here a couple of times in the past 2-3 years, since I do not live locally. And this last visit prompted me to write a review. I did not find anything wrong with the food or drink, it was the service. I'm not sure where the problem actually lay but when I ordered a breakfast sandwich there seem to be a lot of confusion on who's it was and the barista at the register who took my order asked the person at the drive thru if it was for one of their customers. She was informed no, it is for one of her customers, meaning my sandwich. At some point the sandwich got laid to the side and not put on the counter for customer pickup. Finally, another person asked if I was waiting for a sandwich. She did located it and with apologies gave it to me. So I left wondering if this is lack of training for the barista on the register, or incompetence, or maybe she just didn't give a crap. No clue. Hopefully this Starbucks will get a clue because I do drive through Richmond frequently on my way to St. Louis but I would not go out of my way to come here. There is a Starbucks a few miles outside of Indy I usually stop at.

From a Starbucks standpoint, it's a solid 4 stars, from a customer service standpoint, a miserable ZERO. Hence an average of two dinky stars. Cashier had the warmth of an ice cube. Both my daughter and I were extremely polite (please and thank you) when we ordered (we always are!). And she was just straight up bitchy. There. I said it. Need to shape up Starbucks!!!

The staff at this Starbucks are so unbelievably friendly. I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but the staff here can always help me find something I'm going to love. On this particular trip I was encouraged to buy a gift card and register it online to earn rewards points. I usually skip offers like this over, but this person was so helpful that I took her up on it. Now I'm going to make a point to visit here more often and use my Starbucks card as often as I can!

It's got better over the years as far as the friendly employees go, but it lacks space. There's not a lot of room to move around and when it gets busy on the weekend it's hard to find a seat to just sit down and socialize with a friend over coffee. I've never had a problem with the way my drink was prepared, they always seem to get it right.
