This was my second trip to Indiana and I was determined to try White Castle this trip. We ordered the jalapeno burgers in a 30 sack, which was handed to me in a cardboard brief case. I couldn't believe the woman behind the counter had to individually pack every burger into boxes assembled on the spot. It was pretty amazing just to watch her work. The jalapeno burgers were very tasty and so much better than I expected. The patties were flavorful, the jalapeno cheese had just the right amount of spice. Very good burgers indeed and I can see how people crave them. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because I never want to have another one again because of how my body reacted. Really glad I tried them though.

Excellent cure for constipation :) Since I am from California (we don't have White Castle) and a huge fan of the Harold and Kumar movie, I had to eat here while I was in Indiana. I can safely say this will be a one and only visit to White Castle. The burgers taste "fake" and the fries are way too greasy.

This restaurant had a great establishment, great employees, and great service. The building was clean, the employees were very friendly, and the food was delicious. It was one of the best White Castle experiences that I've had to date. I ordered the regular sliders and the loaded French fries, which were well worth it. I was very satisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for lunch or dinner. Writing this post is making me want their burgers right now. I give this restaurant two thumbs way up.

The stars actually rise by how late it is, and how intoxicated you are. So basically lunch is not an option, but the 4th meal is a go!

Ok as I have mentioned before I am from Ga and we have Krystals there adn not White Castles. however I don't eat Krystals beaause they are nasty and give you gas! Lol. So of course my boyfriend had to bring me here to try it out for the full experience! I must say that the burgers at White Castle are fresher and taste better. I got the regular with cheese, and my boyfriend got the jalepeno cheese burger, and we shared a order of fries and chicken rings. Everything was pretty good and fresh, but I don't think I will eat here a lot cause it still has the same efffect as Krystals, it just tastes better! Lol

It would be comical if it were not so sad and true. Writing this I feel like that movie where Michael Douglas just finally has it with all the petty crap and excuses and poor lame irritable little things you continue to ACCEPT every single day just to get through your daily business because that is the way the world has gone...so, this review is my "Falling Down", or better yet Jerry Maguire moment and this location has failed so miserably they get the brunt of my pure and utter vomiting of all that Ive withheld the so many times we had not gotten what we paid for. There is a complete lack of customer service, no expectation for friendliness or courtesy, much less any hope that when you go thru drivethru (or even try to order in) your order will be correct in the end. This is usually the experience at this location; but the reason I'm finally writing about it is because not only did the employees take advantage of my teenage son by misinforming him, and not only was our order wrong and I attempted to call and was left to leave a message that went unanswered, I was treated with the same disregard at the corporate level when I finally reached the high corporate powers that be. I was listened to at first but recieved none of the promised call-backs or contacts, nothing! So, I persisted, because it was the principle now. So, I dont ever get a call but I end up receiving a letter in the mail. I will post the letter so the world can see how gracious WC was to take time to respond so promptly and graciously, and it was even signed by the C.O.O. along with a coupon for $15 whole dollars! If this is upper management, White Castle needs to take a look at themselves. The coupon doesn't even cover half our bill. I was completely ignored and then complacently dealt with once again by corporate; and they had the nerve to send THAT? They survived the depression; and their price hikes 1060's: 12 cents, 90's: 49 cents, now: 75 cents; and they're all the same 2x2 burger. It seems Elizabeth Ingram C.O.O. and her company could use some top-down training and consumer re-familiarization. Because they used to be the place for the cheap slider snd now you've got bad service, management, and out-of-touch corporate support. Their originator created the open space to see the kitchen and your food being made because he was in-touch with the people and the fact that back then it made people feel better seeing that. White castle's history is an All-American story; they actually beat Mcdonalds to the punch on the burger joint biz and survived the depression. It's too bad not a lot of people know their story. And won't keep going for a mini-burger at a regular burger price, especially not at this location. And the shame is, I used to love getting sliders when we would travel through Indiana when I was a kid. Shame on you management and Corporate. And, yes, I know this is a review for a fast-food establishment; but, that's exactly my point. Fast-food has become synonymous with mediocre food and intolerable customer service. This location has proven that time and again. Rant over.
