Awesome They do a good job. They get 5 stars as a LJS simply because their customer service is divine. If there is a problem their real prompt on fixing it. They have this drive thru girl that will brighten your day she is always smiling and she seems genuinely happy to be serving you.

A local take-out favorite. Check out their hot sub sandwich and don't forget to ask them to "King" your pizza!
I can't imagine anyone ever rating this pizza anything other than 5 star+++!!!! Best and most unique pizza in the world. There is no other pizza like this so it's a top priority if you live out of the area when you hit the NC limits.
I really hate this pizza. The sauce is bland. The cheese is good but the crust is not. The people at this location are very nice as previous reviews have pointed out. Sadly they have great service and great people they just lack a quality product to push them past 2 stars.

Hoosiers Daddy

I met a friend and her husband earlier Friday night at another bar and their band was playing at Hoosier Daddy's that night, and I told them I would be in New Castle for a football game and would stop by after wards. This is near downtown, east of route 3 (main drag). I got there after the game and I thought this would be rough crowd, place, etc. but it was anything but. Amber the bartender was a doll and treated me like a good friend. Bottle beer (for me) and 2 Jager bombs (for friends) totalled almost $15, a bit more than other bars I go to, Other people in bar were cool as well. Bar is a bit small and so is stage and dance floor. I was only there a little more than half hour because I wanted to drive back home to Indy not too late. Whem I'm back in New Castle, will definitely stop by again.

Burger King

Reviews:
This was probably the best Burger King experience I'd ever had. I saw a billboard saying that they'd moved to a new location, so it's no longer out front of Rural King. It's further south, on the other side of the road. They've changed to side-by-side order taking in the drive-thru, although I didn't see how that works for payment and pick-up. The interior was surprising. When I entered, I couldn't see any counter or kitchen. They had a tv going and the dining room was decorated with a casual up-to-date wood and glass look. Around the corner, it was the same as every other fast food restaurant. Beep beep beep with plenty of stainless steel to clean. I saw a few people working, but no one was at the counter initially. Somewhat quickly, the secondary person helping with the drive-thru (I only saw one window) came over to take my order. He took my order and then as I tried to hand him the cash, asked me to wait a minute, and came up with a different, lower total. I was surprised when he told me that he eliminated the small drink, as it was $1.69. That's a lot for a 20 or 22 oz. drink, but I didn't expect that he would do that. Maybe, I looked particularly pathetic and needed the extra money? The double-cheeseburger combo meal is somewhat expensive and the last one was almost $5.00, but I believe this one totalled $4.29 before the switch. In any case, we finished with the cash and were having a pleasant conversation, as I was getting my drink from the traditional style multiple drink machine. Thankfully, they disposed with the fancy Pininfarina-designed one drink at a time machine. A few of the other workers engaged in the conversation and it felt odd, as if they cared, and that doesn't usually happen. The last time I was at the store, it was at the other location and they were friendly, but not quite this friendly. The drink/condiment area was in need of a fix-up, and the table hadn't been wiped for a while. The food was fine, although the fries were at the old end of the cycle, and I heard him call for fresh fries shortly after I started to eat. The fries weren't at their best but they were far from horrible. The sandwich was fine, but I was surprised to see bits of meat on the outside of the bun. Random acts of kindness today at Burger King? Perhaps. I also saw them helping someone with their vehicle outside. It was a surprising visit. I wish they were all like that.

Jack’s Donuts

2410 S 14th St

Reviews:
Oh, baby!! Some of the BEST donuts ever, and I've lived all over the country. Consistent quality and good service. I don't have them as often as I'd like, otherwise a forklift would be necessary to get me out of bed every morning.
I think these donuts are pretty solid. They are not overly greasy or sweet. They ARE Indiana, donuts, though, so don't expect very bold flavors. But for chocolate iced or glazed donuts, this is a pretty good stop. The peanut covered donuts have a nice consistency.
I cheered my sister on in a 5K while I ate Jack's donuts this weekend! Am I a sweet sister or what? I'm glad I don't live super close to a Jack's (okay... kind of a lie. I live in Noblesville with a Jack's in Fishers but can you believe I have never been there?) because I am sure this would become a very unhealthy diet staple. We got a box full of unhealthy donut delights ranging from a standard glazed to the infamous applesauce donut to my favorite, some kind of caramel glazed monstrosity with crushed pecans on top. I could only bring myself to eat the caramel one but my heart yearned for more! Alas, I will have to try the Fishers location soon so I can get down on one of the applesauce donuts. My cousins scooped those bad boys up as soon as the box hit the counter. A lovely breakfast treat to eat on my aunt's porch will cheering on my sis in that 5K!

I just returned from New Castle, IN for a wedding. Our family ate their after rehearsal one night. The food was very good as well as the service. The lady waiting on us was very nice. We had the pepperoni pizza along with salads. Some had sandwiches, which they said was some of the best they have had. If your ever in New Castle I would recommend you try it.
Consistently good pizza! One of my favorite locations.
I have been going her for a long time, most of my family live here, and this P.K. has been a growing staple of fine pizza in New Castle as the Top Hat . My family and I travel from Martinsville Indiana all the way to this Top Hat Pizza King for some of the best, hottest, cheesiest, pizza ever ! We have tried a few others around where we live, but they are not even close to the sight, smells, and friendly , atmosphere that you get from this family dining establishment .

Los Amigos

120 S Memorial Dr
New Castle, 47362
Reviews:
3.5 is more fitting. Los looses points on their salsa, however if you request the one with cilantro it's not bad, nothing to brag about. Service is very hit or miss, we either have excellent but we have had terrible service - it's almost guaranteed we'll have bad service if we are there with another couple or family. There seems to be no in between so we tend to only go there before or after the dinner crowd and know not to sit in a certain area bc we always get forgotten. The saving grace that keeps us coming back (weekly) is the prices. Prices compare with fast food joints and I'd take Los over McD's any day!
Good Mexican food. Authentic by Midwestern standards. Definitely the best in the area.
Honestly Los Amigos is one of the best Mexican restaurants in New Castle. I love their chips, the salsa is okay. staff is friendly, although can be slow at times. my favorite thing on their menu is their California Burrito best burrito I've had in a while, I also love their Taco Salads, haven't found anything like them elsewhere. to top it off they are very affordable, my husband and I can eat there for about $20, sometimes less than that. If you're hungry in New Castle or passing through, I'd highly recommend giving Los Amigos a chance. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.
