A GOOD Dairy Queen, convenient to Hotels, & residential Muncie. Since RITTER'S isn't open, so far in 2015, I searched & found nearby DQ. The lot & lobby were CLEAN. The facility is, over-all, well decorated. My server was a polite, competent one, & I got the usually, predictable, DQ quality. We'll be back.

I couldn't decide between Dairy Queen and Culver's (where I have a coupon) but I was craving pumpkin so I chose DQ. When I got my Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, it was just vanilla ice cream with no hint of pumpkin and very minimal other toppings. I basically received a vanilla cup of ice cream and left very unsatisfied.

This was my first visit to a DQ, we do not have them in my area of NYC. We do have Carvel stores and Mr Softee trucks so I did have something to compare DQ to. When staying in the Muncie area most nights our friends would gather at Muncie Custard for custard and gossip. When we heard that Muncie custard had closed we needed another place to get our custard / ice cream fix. DQ is a short walk from our hotel and we decided to check out their soft serve ice cream. It's not custard like we were used to, it's more like Carvel. Their portions are huge so on my second trip I ordered a child's cup, it was more then enough. I only eat chocolate and it was quite good. None of my friends complained about their sundaes so I guess we all enjoyed what we had ordered. We did go back again so we must have liked it and since DQ is so close to our hotel we now have a new place to go for our frozen treat fix.

I've been a big fan of Dairy Queen most of my life. So it was no surprise when another late night ice cream craving hit while we were visiting in Muncie, IN, that out I went for the short drive from my motel to the DQ down the street. On this night it was a craving for a blizzard. DQ does not disappoint! If you can't find the flavor you want here, you have a problem!! Every imaginable goodie is available. The blizzard is the only item I can review at this establishment but I've had several menu offerings at a variety of DQ's around the country and I can attest to the quality of any of their ice cream treats and the hot food. I especially like their Brazier burger!! I know wherever I am, there is a DQ not far from me and I'll get consistently good food or ice cream. I'm a fan!!!

An A-OK Dairy Queen, went here for a late night fulfillment of an ice cream craving. I had an Oreo blizzard and was not disappointed my wife had a waffle cone with Butterfinger ice cream but wasn't happy with how the chocolate was still dripping off the 'dipped' waffle cone. Service was prompt, the staff didn't seem too depressed about working the night shift at Christmas time.

This is the worst customer service I've ever received at a dairy queen. They made our blizzards five minutes before our food was ready and let them sit on the counter melting. The teenager girls at the counter loudly gossiped at the register about how they went drinking last night and repeatedly ignored our attempts to ask for our food. We waited ten minutes for our food to be ready and as the were packing it, the girl dropped our bag on the floor. She picked it up and acted like nothing happened as my husband and I watched on in disgust. Our blizzards were not at all mixed and of course melted after waiting so long. The syrup for the root beer was running low and nothing was done about it even after we asked. The only positive is that our burgers and fries were good. We will not be returning.

As a Dairy Queen connoisseur, this has not been my favorite Dairy Queen experience. Upon occasion, I've received dipped cones that presentation wise, leave something to be desired. The Dairy Queen over by the Muncie Mall has provided better service multiple times.
