On a Tuesday night at 8:30 with an empty dining room, I expect to get hot food and a promptly served salad. Not the case at Cheers. We asked about our side salads after 25 minutes and were told they weren't premade. TouchÃ©! We got them and three minutes later our entrees arrived. The "homemade" breaded tenderloin was dressed incorrectly and the BBQ chicken was unsauced and cold to the touch in parts, although cooked through. Our waitress was pleasant enough, but for being as dead as it was, she was pretty inattentive. When the tenderloin returned, it was room temp and bland, atop an untoasted bun. The $3 beers were ok. I'd heard for years that Cheers was a good place for middle aged townies to eat bar food, but I'm glad I'm not in that demographic. Boooo and never again. $30 after tip.
