So my husband loved this place and I just liked it. To account for both opinions I gave it a 4 star, but wish I had the option of 3.5. We got hummus as an appetizer. It came with unlimited warm soft pita and we got a "hot" sauce on the side that was my most favorite thing at this meal. The sauce wasn't very hot, but it had a great zing to it and was something you could poor over anything. For our main meal my husband had a lamb fried rice plate and I got the beef roll up, basically a roasted pita sandwich. Like I said, my husband loved his meal! I took my obligatory taste of his plate and agree it was tasty, but not among my favorite things. I think they only use brown rice and I don't mind it once in a while, but when I have an option I always pick white rice. My beef roll up was just okay. I did really like that they roasted it because it helped keep it together unlike most gyros and pita sandwiches, but it was not among my favorite things either. Overall this place was okay for me and great for my husband. The service was okay. The environment was pleasant. They allow dogs on the patio (which is probably why I'll agree to come back). I'm sure we'll be back, not often, but we will be.

I could become a vegetarian with this restaurant. Holy WOW!!!! Try the vegetarian app platter trust me you'll be a convert. The pomegranate green tea was as clear as water and very refreshing. Even our daughter was happily munching on everything. And finally I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff was. They were super attentive without being annoying.

I loved the hummus. I wasn't in love with the pita. It tasted stale - but it's just how they made their pita. I got some for the road that tasted the same way. I had one of the platters - I wish I could remember the name. I believe it was Aladdin something. It was three types of meat, pasta/rice side, and salad. Also tasty! The service was okay, not bad/not amazing. Overall it was exactly what I wanted - something light and healthier than typical restaurant fare.

The baba ganouj was great, not too mention just fun to say. We wanted to try several things, so we settled on the Aladdin dinner and the lamb plate. Everything was very good but my favorite was definitely the kafta and the lamb a close second. Swinging for the fence, of course, we had to sample all the varieties of baklava; excellent balance of honey and nuts with the filo shell. The service was good and the waiter helpful and patient. We will be back.

Very good food, it looks and tastes fresh. It is a good place for vegetarians and vegans (they have a lot of options). My only complain, and the reasons for only three stars is that the menu has no pictures (it gets really hard if you don't know what the food is). I also felt that the size of it wasn't as generous as I was expecting. In other words, if you are hungry, order two.

Since its opening, Aladdins has become one of our favorite places to eat as well as take out-of-town guests. I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review! There is something here to satisfy every palate and dietary restriction. If you can resist the basket full of warm pita, there are many fantastic low-carb options. Vegetarians will love it as the meatless options are many and flavorful. Major props for a relatively healthy kid's menu and fresh squeezed juices (my daughter asks for "chicken rice" and apple juice every time we come here). My family's favorites include the chicken shish tawook wrap, the pita pitza with lamb, and the hummus. Service is top-notch as well. I can remember some very embarrassing moments with my fussy toddler but the staff were never less than gracious. Five stars all the way.

Walked over to them from the Holiday Inn Express. They had just opened and the food was terrific! The service was ok but I am sure it will get better. We will be going again on Friday night to try the wine and dinner menu.

So many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options at Aladdins! I shared an appetizer, had a meal, tea, and dessert all for under thirteen dollars. Unbelievable. The burma bakclava however, was extremely dry and less flavorful than i'm used to.

Finding myself in South Bend, Indiana, brought me to Yelp to search for a local joint that was popular with the native crowd. Aladdin's did not disappoint. First of all, big ups to Aladdin's for having nutritional info on their site! AND it's available in My Fitness Pal app. There are times you don't wanna know but there are times you do wanna know and it's nice to have the option! We settled on the Baba appetizer. And it was flawless. Smooth and creamy with a perfect balance of garlic and olive oil. They kept the pitas coming. Then we both ordered the pita roll - mine was the falafel hummus. Also flawless. We ended up returning the next day and trying the hummus appetizer and the Ali Baba Pitza. Both were just fantastic. The wait staff was attentive and kind. If you're looking for good food in the South Bend area, Aladdin's is a safe bet. Order an appetizer because they're good and also because the meat dishes take a while to cook.

Every time the hubs and I drive past South Bend or are in South Bend we make it a point to come here. We always order the same thing -- the hummus plate, grape leaves and then two Aladdins wraps (the chicken shawarma with the peas and feta). Everything is always great, service is friendly and their patio is puppy-friendly! The only comment I would make is the pita with the hummus is so thin and floppy it's hard to scoop up the hummus.

A funny thing happened on the way to Grape Road: We didn't go to Grape Road. Instead, we did that thing that I always tried to do when I lived in South Bend but never could quite get the hang of, and Alladin's was right there. I know what you're thinking, too: "John S., you're giving five stars to a Middle Eastern place in the middle of God-Knows-Where, Indiana, that's called 'Aladdin's'? What's wrong with you, John S.?" I'll answer the last question first, as this feels like a radio interview at this point: There's a lot wrong with me. Now, onto your first question: Yes. Yes, indeed. Yes and yes and yes. I was surprised as all hell too. It is in the middle of nowhere, but you know what? It's a nice place. The servers are very attentive. But what really gets the five stars is the fact that there are multiple vegetarian options on the menu, and they're good! If this place were in a big city, would it still rate five stars? Maybe, maybe not, but I'm giving Aladdin's credit for doing what so many businesses don't anymore; Aladdin's is actually trying to satisfy all of its customers, rather than just the most dull, routine-obsessed ones. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free items and options are clearly marked throughout the menu, and there are plenty of all them, so this really is a place you can bring anyone. Even on a date.

For some reason I decided to try the cranberry walnut salad. I never order a salad for a meal. This thing was fantastic!!! The place was clean, everybody friendly. I can't wait to go back and try something else. And if you want dessert, hokey smokes Bullwinkle, check out the dessert case right up front!!!!!

One word.... Amazing! Everything was fresh & so tasty. We couldn't stop eating until we were completely stuffed. This is the second time we have eaten here and I can't wait until the next time.

My mother wanted to eat here for her birthday this year as she had been there before and enjoyed their meatless dishes. Needless to say as a family of full fledged steak lovers I was skeptical. But I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. I had the Kabob Rolled which is beef tenderloin served with seasoned vegetables and rice. it was delicious, tender and flavorful. The kids enjoyed their meals, and the desert selection is amazing. I saw some other plates coming out with salads and Pita dishes that looked great as well. I did try the Baba Gahanouj, Hummus, Tabouli and Falafel from Mom's sampler and the only thing I didn't care for was the Falafel. I thought it was heavy and didn't care for the spice flavors used. That being said, I think that is how it is supposed to be, just not my cup of tea. Did I mention the deserts? You are going to want to save room for some of these!! All in all a great little gem, I never would have found on my own, but will definitely return to in the future.

Lots of reviews here....so this one will be brief. Fresh. Flavorful. Food was excellent. Good portions. Prices were average. Server was very friendly but not 100% knowledgable. We will def. be returning.

Wow, I hadn't realized that this franchise had made it out of Ohio and into Indiana! I was happy to find Aladdin's Eatery during my visit to the South Bend area for two reasons: 1. It's a healthier meal option 2. It's a safe Gluten free meal option One of the best things about Aladdin's menu is that they label the vegetarian, vegan, GF, and nut containing items. Yes, the kitchen is shared, but they do a good job about handling the cross contamination. The server went back to let the kitchen know of my issues with gluten after putting in the order. The menu is pretty extensive and has a large selection of Lebanese/American food, think more Americanized if your use to the traditional Lebanese. The food was filling and ok and matched my exceptions of my memories of my past multiple trips to other Aladdin's during my time in Ohio. The portions are huge and you usually have enough leftover for another meal. One of the pluses to this Aladdin's is that they do have patio seating if you wish to enjoy your meal outside on a nice day.

I've been here a few times now, and have never had something I didn't enjoy. Their pita "pitzas" are light and delicious, and even their soups are worth coming back to. Everything that is served is mentioned on the menu as being vegan, containing nuts, and other dietary side notes you might find useful. Tonight was a fantastic display of fast preparation, general politeness, and great food. Celebrating an anniversary, we had the Ali Baba Pitza, a small side salad (one of my favorite parts about the meal), lentil chicken soup, and some Sauvignon Blanc wine. Afterwards, we had a piece of mocha chocolate cake. Not being a fan of chocolate, I still enjoyed the dessert, albeit less than my date. Every part was delicious, and the atmosphere is actually quite nice for a restaurant, especially in Indiana. Somewhere between friendly, relaxed, and lively, jazz music played in the background as families talked and laughed comfortably. Aladdin's in Mishawaka has become a new staple for great food and some of the best service I've had thus far. If you are interested in trying something a little new while still feeling familiar and you happen to be in the area, you owe it to yourself to visit Aladdin's Eatery.

Finally made a stop in for dinner and I wasn't disappointed. Healthy options galore with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices as well. We ordered the Dawali for an appetizer which was very good and served with pita bread. Fresh ingredients, tasty dishes with friendly servers make it easy to return .

I travel all over the country , been to , stayed in, and ate in all lower 48 states and several places in Canada. This restaurant was great, had a great selection, I had hummus and a grilled tuna salad. Both were good, this restaurant wasn't an organic place, which I look for, but was probably the next best option. If I'm ever close again I will eat here again. Good choice

The manager that was rude to me seems to have moved on and is no longer working here. The new manager is so friendly and hospitable. I love this place! Pet friendly patio for my girls luncheons are awesome! Also they now have Angeline Pinot noir by the bottle. Check it out.

Nice to find a restaurant offering a healthy lunch option that also tastes good. I had the lentil soup and the salad. Lentil soup is a bargain - almost a meal in itself. I would serve it in a smaller straight-sided bowl because it's quite liquid and hard to spoon in a low flat bowl. At $3.75 a good value. However: it's not gluten free if you serve it with pita bread! Make the customer ask for the bread: most people can do without it. Fatoush salad nicely presented (even if I wasn't done with the soup yet): lovely aroma and also a large portion. Taste was excellent. Good value. Service was keen, and could have waited until I was ready for the second course before bringing it, but it was a cold dish, so no harm done. Management: training required.

I'm visiting the area for the first time and looked up some places that made food fresh, non Comercial, and non frozen. I'm a vegetarian and this place has excellent options for me and my oldest daughter which is also vegetarian. Portions are large and they give u plenty of pita bread with your meals. If you are looking for great flavors and nice atmosphere this is the place.

I absolutely love Aladdin's! They have amazing food that is actually really reasonably priced when you think about the portion sizes and the leftovers that almost always happen despite my best efforts. My favorite thing on the menu is the fatayer (spinach and feta baked into a pita) and the veggie appetizer sampler, which includes tabouli, hummus, baba ganoush, falafel and more. Also, make sure to get the mint tea, which pairs nicely with the flavors and don't forget their hot sauce!

One of the best executed chains in the US. Fresh, mostly organic and many gluten free options- all great tasting food. The lentil soup and hummus were perfect..both organic! Quinoa option instead of rice, also great. Would love to have a mayo - free garlic puree and it would be the best place ever. Still very good for the Midwest. Will visit Ohio locations in travels coming up.

The food here was good but the service was pretty lackadaisical and slow. The staff seemed like they were more interested in gossiping among themselves than serving the customers. The prices seemed high for the simple food served, and I think that while it is nice to have another Mediterranean place in town, Elia's is still the best place for this food in the city.

  • Greg R.

The anti-ad for this place would be Golda Meir saying "where's the beef". I was expecting a nice beef shish-k-bob and I got 8 oz beef and a pile of rice and pine nuts for $14. Ambiance nice for a date but the value is just not there.

Healthy and good food in the same place ....and Mediterranean!!!!! It only took one time to fall in love with this place ......The falafels are awesome ....living in "midwest" places like this seem rare ....Being a vegetarian makes going out to eat a little more difficult so I was excited to try this place and I highly recommend it .....The food taste fresh, It's not heavy which makes it a very enjoyable meal ........I can't wait to go back .....eating healthy I can only imagine puts my body into shock and withdraws from the bad stuff but if I can replace it with this ....It's a shock I could get use too

Delivery customers BEWARE! Aladdins frequently mess up orders such as omitting orders and using the wrong salad dressing. They will refuse to credit you the omitted orders until they "find" the missing item in the kitchen. Aladdin's food is average, but definitely very pricey for the quality and portions offered. This by itself should merit 3 stars, but their customer service and delivery problems lowered my rating to one star.

Anyone who knows and loves Mediterranean food will have a great experience here. The wraps are fantastic, and I can never get enough of their tabouli. My wife loves their dawali. Some of my favorite rolls are the Chicken Shawarma, the Baba Falafel, and Aladdin's Kabob. Be sure to give them a try for a quick dinner or lunch! You won't be disappointed! Also: Make sure you try their hot sauce!!

Just an excellent all-around experience for dining in or carrying out. The ingredients are all top-notch and the service is pleasant and prompt. This summer, I have virtually subsisted on Aladdin's vegetarian appetizer combo for lunch, which includes hummus, tabouli, falafel, and diwali with pita (make sure to ask for the hot sauce along with your tahini!) There are so many great dishes to sample that I have to list them by course type. These are only the dishes I have tried. They also have salads, soups, desserts, and a kid's menu. Appetizers: Chicken Sambusek, Loubie Bzeit, Falafel, Baba, Tabouli, Diwali, Hummus. Steer clear of the Kibbie (and its main course counterpart): it's very heavy and somewhat mealy. Rolled pitas: these are pitas stuffed with various meats, veggies, and sauces. They are excellent without exception. Standouts: Aladdin's Lamb Rolled, Kafta Rolled (spicy and regular). Specialties: Loubie plate, Chicken Sambusek plate, Jasmine's Favorite, Mediterranean Lamb Plate. A word about the speciality plates. For those dishes that have both appetizer and specialty plate versions, you will essentially be getting an appetizer-sized (or just slightly larger) portion of the advertised food (e.g., Loubie or Sambusek) along with a large heaping of salad and your choice of dressing. It seems more economical, to me, to order appetizer portions of a variety of dishes if available. Aladdin's boasts a selection of Lebanese beers and wines, and they are always pushing Almaza (Lebanese Pilsner-style beer) when you say you want beer. Almaza is ok, but it's really nothing special. It turns out there's a reason the Middle East is not known for its beer!

Wow! Excellent inexpensive Lebanese food in Mishawaka, IN. Totally unexpected given the nondescript exterior here in strip mall land. Great flavor profiles. The grape leaves were warm with a bright hit of lemon, topped with crumbled white cheese. The fouhl (fava bean purée) was garlicky with great depth and nicely balanced with olive oil. The spinach pie was unusual in that it was wrapped in a thin pita and baked. Great mix of lemon and onion. Many veg and vegan options are clearly identified. Very clean, healthy food with no butter or 'bad' fats and no sacrifice on the flavor. Super friendly staff stayed open a little late for us and sent us home with some complimentary baclava. Also unexpected was a small but very well curated craft beer list. I had a lovely vanilla java porter from a Detroit brewery. Highly recommended. This was the best meal we've had on our trip from NY to Chicago and back.

This place is a great deal. Its food is excellent. It is nothing particularly creative, but it is solid, consistent, and a great deal. Get the flavor saver special. Hummus, salad, rice, pita, beef kafta, falafel, and chicken mishwi. Where else can you get that? Sometimes its a bit salty, but generally it's great. For supper on the lighter side, two people could split it. Or, add a side of tabbouleh. However the sides sometimes cost just under the price of a significantly larger item. The pricing on the menu is odd given portions sizes so look for the good deals. Warning: the hummus plate (with chicken for example) delivers an enormous portion of hummus. Pita is unlimited, but still, you probably don't need the much for yourself. They have a huge menu! But its items are just a variation on a theme. It's like listing all the possible combinations at subway (though invoking the food quality of subway should is really a bit taboo in this context). Service can be slow, which is odd because there are always seemingly too many people working there... I also recommend the dollar theater next door. All in all you have a cheap date night.

Certainly not bad, but I've had better mediterranean. I got a lamb wrap, and the flavors were right. Seemed like a flour tortilla to me instead of a pita wrap though. Wasn't happy about that. If I go again, I'll steer clear of the wraps and just get a hummus plate. Service was slow, but that was fine with me. I'm not in a hurry.

Very nice place, the inside is relaxing and clean. The sauces are so flavorful and delicious. The rice that comes with the dishes is very unique, it had cinnamon, pine nuts, and slivered almonds. I know that kinda sounds weird but it was actually really good and complimented the sauces and meat well. The only thing I would change is that when you order the hummus, they put i ton a plate and then put some olive oil on top. I didn't think it needed the extra oil and was a little too much for me so next time I will just request that they not put it on and I'm sure they would be fine with that. The server was really nice and I didn't notice any issues while I was there.

The best chain-restaurant food I've ever had. Fresh flavors, balanced, perfect. Of course, it's certainly not coincidental that this is not a huge chain, and they have managed to preserve an uncommonly high level of concern for ingredients and preparation. I'm pretty omnivorous, so I'll just say that the place's extensive array of vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan items will probably make some diners ecstatic, but, for me, that's just incidental. My first time there I had a very good gyro lamb sandwich. Two following times, the table shared a combo platter of appetizers. Hummus, dolmas, pan-Mediterranean. Everything was very good. I ordered a lamb platter with rice and veggies the most recent time, but actually cannot recall for sure what I got the time before for an entree. (Working meal; we were concentrated on each other.) Food is not spicy here, in my experience so far. It's very close to a 5-star place, but I cannot say that anything really "wowed" me. It's just very good, very solid, very healthy, very worthy. People coming from Al-Ameer in Detroit or the like will probably find this place a little yuppified and suburban-chic. But the food is really solid, all the same.

The food always delivers consistant, great, quality. Healthy and delicious. The service is also wondeful and they keep a great rotating beer and wine selection to accompany the seasons. Overall A+, yet to find something on the menu that hasn't exceeded all expectations.

I wasn't blown away, but I've had some really amazing Lebanese food in my life. I found the hummus to be lacking flavor and the lamb in my wrap was pretty tough. It's a cute little place, though. Maybe I should have tried something else.

I was very impressed. Our waiter (Ron) was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and offered advice. My wife is a vegetarian, my brother-in-law is a super carnivore, my son only eats very mildly spiced dishes, and I am a spice/heat junky. We all left here satisfied. Will definitely be coming back when in town.

Umm... Pros: Organic. No preservatives. No additives. Cons: Everything. Yelpers, I trusted you that this would be so good that I would poop my pants, yet you let me down big time. I finally got to eat here after months of wondering what the hype was all about. I was so, so, so disappointed. First, they give you complimentary flat breads made out of flour and water (so it tasted). It wasn't warm at all. I was shocked it didn't come with a small cup of hummus to at least dip it in since eating it alone was extremely dry. You heard me, NO HUMMUS for the flat bread! The appetizer, a $6ish chicken dish, was awful and also dry. It was a single wrap with spiced chicken stuffed inside. My husband and I had a hard time cutting it with the dull butter knives when we tried to share it. Why was there only one wrap? At least divide it into two so we don't have to tackle the wrap for 10 minutes. My husband ordered the lamb roll--AKA, a gyro! That's all it was, a GYRO! It tasted like a gyro from any typical gyro joint, except without the preservatives. I ordered some Savor-Flavor dish, and boy was it gross. Their hummus is so disgustingly soupy. The plain yogurt or sour cream flavor overpowered the chickpeas that hummus is made of. I couldn't eat it. I've made homemade hummus with soaked chickpeas before and it was nothing like the hummus soup at Aladdin's. Anyway, my dish came with hummus, rice, beef, chicken, and an overly seasoned salad, with a side of hot sauce overpowered by a vinegar taste. Basically, the beef was two sausages on top of the rice and a small slab of blackened chicken as well. The falafel was OK, but nothing to write home about. When I saw little sausages and soupy hummus and spicy salad, I thought, "Gee, looks nothing like the way it's described in the menu." If you are particular about your food like I am, this is not the place for you.

I hate to be a complainer, but their lamb was overcooked to an extreme. We ordered three lamb wraps and the lamb meat was flavorless, chewy, and gray colored on all of them. Granted it was takeout, but if you expect to people to take you seriously as a Mediterranean restaurant, then you should probably learn how to cook a piece of lamb. We also ordered some olives, and they were on point, but I have never been served bad olives.

  • Rob L.

Very good. I've never eaten Mediterranean food so I have no basis for comparison, but I really enjoyed the food. I got the flavor savor special, which is an assortment of entrees. Usually a carnivore, but the hummus and vegan falafel were my favorite parts.

I'd been meaning to stop in Aladdin's for some time, and found the opportunity right after a long day at work. This restaurant was an oasis, if I may. I started with the foole, which is puréed fava beans, into which I had dipped pita--delicious! Then, I moved onto the Aladdin's sampler, which has various kinds of meat served over rice and with a salad on the side. It was a great selection of flavors that were a delight to taste. The server, Molly, was very attentive and prompt and was helpful in guiding me in my choices for the appetizer and main course. My hectic schedule willing, I plan to return there soon and often.

This place was quite a pleasant surprise! My husband and I shared the veggie plate appetizer, he had a lamb pita wrap, and I had grilled lamb with rice, all of which were very good, and having eaten at Greek restaurants before near Philly, this place seemed pretty authentic. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice and it was a very clean store. We would definitely go there again.

I have been here three times. It's clean with friendly service. When I came with my husband, he didn't enjoy it because the menu choices were way too large. Just pages and pages to choose from. I've had the Baba Ganoush. A bit too heavy on the tahini. Their pita is very delicate and thin. Really good. I've been back with a friend and had a better time. Like the broiled Tuna. And you can't miss with the shish-kebob. I'm glad to have another Mediterranean place in the area.

  • Paul F.

The food was ok. The service not so much. The waiter brought the bill when I was about 1/2 done with my meal. As I reviewed the bill I found that my entree was charged $.50+ too much; there was also an item on the bill that I didn't get. When I questioned the waiter about it, he became flustered and said, "I don't know how that happened." He took it back and corrected it. I was suspicious but allowed as how it may have been an honest mistake. However, when I paid my bill I gave the waiter an extra $5 and asked for change for it. He did, after quite a wait, bring back the change for the $5, but not the change from the bill for the meal. When I questioned him about it, he said that he would get it for me. After another extended wait of over 5 minutes, he brought it to me. By then I definitely had the impression that he tried to stiff me two times.

This is what Lebanese / Middle Eastern food should be. Inexpensive, large portions, healthy, and fresh. And really delicious. Not like at Elia's, where they turn what ought to be simple fast food into some mysterious, exotic, poorly prepared and overpriced commodity. I had the baba ghannoush and falafel wrap, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I honestly don't know how they keep the prices so low... makes you wonder how much you're getting scammed at the other places. Every dish is well thought out and comes with loads of garnish and sides. You will not leave Aladdin's with an empty stomach or wallet. The decor is comfortable without being too sensual... very family oriented. They have fresh juices and smoothies on the menu as well. Lots of vegetarian options too. Something for everybody, pretty much. Definitely worth checking out for yourself.

Better option amongst all the restaurant chains surrounding the area. I had the falafel pitza, lentil soup, jasmin rice dish.

This place just opened. We were looking for something different and healthy, and with the fresh made veggie juices, the well prepared and tasty meals, this is our new favorite!

My partner and I visited Aladdin's two nights ago for dinner. We decided to check it out because we enjoy Mediterranean food, and we're always up to try new restaurants. Service was decent - we could tell that the server was probably new to serving, so we cut her some slack. We ordered the vegetarian chili, veggie plate, vegetarian combo, and the fatoush salad. The problem that we had with much of the food is that it was considerably bland. The hummus and grape leaf rolls had no flavor, the chili no spice, and the tabouleh contained an inordinate amount of tomatoes. The baba, however, was quite flavorful, and the fatoush was certainly up to par. The falafel was oddly overly salty. We were put off by the hot sauce - it really makes no sense to have hot sauce in Mediterranean food. Maybe we're just too traditional when it comes to our Mediterranean. Or maybe the hot sauce was to make up for the lack of flavor in the hummus, chili, and tabouleh. Either way, weird. No thanks. Aladdin's redeeming qualities are in its hours (open late), the fresh juices and smoothies, and the low prices. It will be nice to have Aladdin's there if we're in a late night fix. I plan on going back to try some of the other soups, smoothies, and juices, but I'll definitely stick to Elia's for my Mediterranean cuisine.

Delicious, fast, and healthy. Those words tend not to be found in the same sentence let alone the same paragraph but its true. The Baba and Hummus are delicioius but if you are used to a more overly seasoned hummus Id opt for the hot sauce as an addition to your order - when mixed in a savory warm peppery taste is procured as opposed to a traditional spicy hot sauce we tend to embrace culturally. The Falaffel is much larger than standard ping pong/marbel sized falaffel found in larger cities. The pitzas are fresh and delicious and the Veggie chilli is flavorful and robust with delightfully large red beans. The Dwalli grape leaf rolls are good and the V9 soup is highly reccomended. Do your self a favor and top your meal off with a fresh cookie and some mint tea. An amazing cultural oasis in the middle of one of the midwests largest shopping areas. Defintitely a treat. Cant wait to sample the wine selection!

First time at Aladdin's. My friends rave about this place so I thought I'd give it a try. Had a chicken/ground beef dish with rice, hummus, salad and a falafel. Absolutely delicious. The only reason I didn't give Aladdin's 5 stars is because their food is very salty. The seasoning is prepackaged, apparently, and cannot be altered. Hope that changes in the future because I would return except for the high salt content.

While we usually try and stick with independent, locally-owned restaurants, we had to try Aladdin's based on the rave reviews we've heard and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is warm and inviting. We were quickly greeted when we walked in the door. Our server, Dee, was attentive, offered great suggestions and was refilling our drinks before we even had a chance to ask. We ordered the hummus to start along with a side of hot sauce as recommended by our server and it was delicious. The hummus was smooth, creamy and very flavorful. The hot sauce was unique and provided a nice little kick to the hummus. Our entrees included the Taza Chicken Salad which was light and healthy with grilled chicken, romaine, spinach, squash, sliced red grapes, pine nuts and feta (hold the tomato and dried cranberries). I opted for the lighter house dressing with lemon and olive oil instead of the honey dijon. The steak kabob with garlic sauce was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Service throughout our dinner was exceptional. The menu is large and includes appetizers, soups, salads, pita wraps, pizzas and entrees. While we were too full for the dessert, the dessert case was impressive and worth the trip alone. Great, casual environment, smoke-free and family friendly. This is one of our new favorites!

Great place to eat. Very clean, waitress went above and beyond to help us find what we wanted to eat. Her suggestions were spot on. We shared an appetizer and an entree and they were more than accommodating. Even the baklava for dessert was hand made. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely go here again.

My wife and I have always enjoyed Middle Eastern style food. We have eaten at several other new places that have been popping up around the Mishawaka area. The simple truth is that Aladdin's Eatery is second to none when it comes to atmosphere, food, service and price. The food is prepared perfectly every time. When I had read some of these prior reviews about the food being bland, I only have one thing to suggest to those people. YOUR PALATE IS BROKEN! The food here is bursting with amazing flavors from the fresh vegetables and spices used in every dish. To top everything off on their very long list of food and desert menu items, is the fact they carry a wide selection of fine micro brew beer and wine. Let's face it though, everyone always wants to know how good the Falafel is. Well if you don't happen to like perfectly cooked, wonderfully spiced chick peas, fava beans, parsley, and scallions, fried to perfection in peanut oil, served with Tahini Yogurt sauce and pita on the side. Then you should probably dine else where.

Found this place on Yelp. It was amazing. The service was great and the restaurant is decorated nicely. We had hummus with veggies for our appetizers. We both had the Greek chicken salad. It was yummy! Can't wait to go back!!!!!
