We had a great experience! Food was awesome! Saw a review on here from "Ryan" who hated everything about it. He must have been born in the 90's, couldn't get past not having "Seasoned" French Fries... This is the Diner food I grew up on. I'm glad "Ryan" isn't coming back. Highly reccomend this place!

Stopped in to have lunch with my wife. I had the breaded tenderloin and she had the Reuben. We were seated immediately and our server was very attentive to our needs. Food came out quickly after ordering and was very good. Tenderloin was perfect thickness with a grilled bun. Reuben had great flavor and was very moist unlike previous review. We had a side of onion rings which met my expectation of a diner style ring. Price is fair for the quality and amount of food received. We will definitely come back again.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Janice B was our waitress. Took over an hour to be served and get the check. Didn't explain appetizer options which were not on the menu. Had an attitude from the beginning when I requested a change of drink because I didn't like the flavor of the tea. Argumentative and not attentive to our needs at all. If I were to ever return, I would definitely request a different waitress.

Gag me with a spoon, oh snap that is a 80"s saying. I would have preferred the spoon. Food here is nasty at best. I think everything comes out of the freezer. Saw my hamburger patty and tenderloin tossed on to the grill(frozen) Fries no seasoning at all. Dumped into oil and straight to plate. You would think, I would have learned the first time I ate here.

Great dinner food, and believe it or not, amazing pizza . This coming from the guy who lived in Chicago for 10 years. Simple straight forward mean we more than ample portion. Very clean, friendly and professional staff.

Wife had a really good chocolate milkshake. Breaded tenderloin was hot and good and fries were sizzling hot. Daughter had a really good bacon double cheeseburger. Lace has only been opened for a couple of weeks...service a tad sluggish and confused. Overall, I think this place can make it.

Very nice '50s diner! Had the Beef Manhattan and it was delish! Menu has many different options from burgers to pizza to good ol' home cooked meals. Service was superb! Also loved watching these two boys take on the burger/fry challenge and SUCCEED! Can't wait to go back next time we r in the area!

We met our friends at Knuckle's tonight and it was very busy. We had a party of 8 and were able to be seated right away with a large round table and a nearby booth. The atmosphere was great and the decorations are wondeful. The old restaurant was dark and dingy and this was lively and fun. Great menu choices and a lot of variety. We ordered burgers and fries, with one person getting the fried catfish sandwich. The drinks and food came quickly and we were very satisfied with them. One person got chips and wished they were handcut and fried vs. out of a bag. Prices were very reasonable. We were too full for dessert but hope to get some next time. The food going past our table looked great, especially the breaded tenderloin. Overall, we were pleased and will go back. We also want to try their Shelby Street Diner (Joe's Diner) in Indy.

I'm impressed. My wife and I had dinner there last night and the food was very good. Did I mention they serve reasonably priced draft beer there? With a 50's theme rockin' the joint, my wife had a giant hound (a footlong grilled hotdog cut in halves with their unique coney sauce on it ) with crinkle cut fries and a vanilla coke (the best vanilla coke she's had since the early 70's at the old Candy Kitchen in Martinsville, In.). I had the Stromboli with a side of potato chips and a couple of cold draft beers. Like I said, the food was very good. Naturally like any new place, the staff has a few growing pains to resolve but all in all, did a pretty good job. Our server, Samantha, was very friendly, answered all of our questions and did a good job. Give this place a try and bring an appetite. The next time we go there, (there will be a next time) I'm bringing an appetite and going for the '57 Chevy. (a 7", 1 lb. hamburger on a 7" bun). They should invite Adam Richman there to try to eat 4 of them babys.

I love a good old dinner theme as much as anyone....but I can't give this place a thumbs up. Way over priced for food that doesn't have a great taste. $4 for 10 battered extra greasy mushrooms! Service was very good is the best thing I can give them.

I am all about small town diners. There is a nostalgia and comfort to them. With that being said- I am not impressed. They should have put a little more money into a staff and good food rather than signage and paint. We ordered 3 kid's meals, the usual chicken nuggets, corn dog, and cheese sticks- deep fried so you can't mess it up to bad. My wife and I ordered a Reuben and a Ribeye steak sandwich. The Reuben was terrible, dry, and the dressing was served on the side which is inconvenience at its best. The steak sandwich was bland and all of our fries were cold. The worst part... $47 for concession stand food and mediocre service. It won't be around long, don't waste your time or your money.
