I would say that these are some of the best subs in the area. They offer a very good selection so this sub shop should have something for everybody. They do offer hot subs so I was excited. I got the BBQ brisket sub. It was very moist and it had great taste!! The best part of this sub shop is that it supports local police and firemen if the area. I rounded up my total bill and that change went towards that support. I LOVE that option and keep up the good work!!!!!

Firehouse Subs has great subs. The rolls are firm and nice and warm. Firm but not crunchy. I had the Steak House sub with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. This was just awesome. An 8 inch sub is plenty big enough but if you want more get the 12 inch. A combo has a bag a chips and a huge soda / pop. The Machine pic of the types of sodas to choose from is just awesome. Overall if you want a GREAT sub - you need to go here. Now this particular location. April was at the counter. Very helpful and nice.. Especially during a very busy christmas season. This place was packed! The young man who brought sub after we ordered verified our order. This is a nice place to go and have a wonderful sub. Friendly atmosphere! It does have a small dining area so really not a good place for a big group but definitely a place to order a lot subs to go for a group! Thanks for the hospitality Fire House Subs in Lafayette, IN!

I love Firehouse Subs! I had never had a steamed sub until they came along. I think this is my favorite way to have a sub prepared. I have not been able to force myself to try anything other than the Italian sub, I like to add banana peppers. If I got to eat there more often I'd be more adventurous, but I like to stick with what I know I like. They have a bunch of hot sauces you can add to the sub, but I am satisfied with the sub as I order it. You can add chips and a drink and they have the Coke machine that has a hundred combinations. Overall love the place, never had a bad experience.

I used to frequent subway, then discovered jimmy johns, but nothing compares to the warm delicious subs at Firehouse Subs. I am totally hooked!!! Nice decor, good location. The only thing I would recommend to the owner/manager is to consider hiring more adults and not just youth to work this location. But so far no complaints and everything has been delicious!

Do not try to order online. Even though it is an option (advertised online and in-store) when I placed my order online "they never received it" even though I have the receipt with my order, correct location, and confirmation number. I would normally not let something like this bother me (I work and I realize people get busy and technology is not always reliable), but the employee who approached me simply said "I never got an online order, you'll have to order in-store" and then pointed to the line going out the door. She didn't even try to help me. I'm glad I chose the option to "pay at restaurant" and not online because I'm sure I would have been out $23.00. I ONLY gave 2 stars because their food is good, customer service, not so much. I opted for Penn Station instead. At least I could get someone to help me out.

Ordered four subs. Three of them were made incorrectly. Menu is confusing because the stuff that is listed on the menu is not a full list of what comes on the subs. green peppers and pickles are inexplicably chopped instead of sliced. These subs were no better than the pre-made crap you get in the cooler case at a grocery store. Probably better than gas station subs though. Penn Station is near enough to enable you to never go to Firehouse subs.

We had the New York Steamer (brisket, pastrami, & provolone) and the Engineer (turkey, sauteed mushrooms, and Swiss) hot subs and they were very tasty. The subs come in either an 8-inch or 12-inch size and white or wheat. They also have salads. Our food was ready very quickly and they had many people working so even long lines moved quickly. The people working there were also very good about cleaning empty tables and coming to tables to ask if everything was ok. The one really cool thing is their soft drink machine which dispenses 120 different drinks. It is a touch screen machine that allows you to create many different variations of drinks. For example, the Diet Coke types included Vanilla Diet Coke, Raspberry Diet Coke, Lime Diet Coke, Cherry Diet Coke, etc.

Every time I come in here I am greeted with warm, friendly smiles. The Italian is my favorite. Much different than any other sub places around. They even automatically cut it in half for you, which is nice. If you haven't been here, you should definitely check it out. Beware, though, it gets pretty busy during lunch!

Beef brisket is unreal! Turned several people onto it and are hooked now too! Tried several of their subs and all were pretty good! Large double meat extra sauce beef brisket is still by far my favorite! Eat half of it for dinner and the other half at lunch for work! Gotta say have always had good service and never any issues with our food. The brownies are really good too! I would have to say give it a try! Best sub shop in town by a far!!!!!

This place is a better version of Quizno's. I'm trying to eat healthier so I shot myself in the foot by going here, because their sandwiches are covered in mayo and cheese and they taste oh so good just that way. They prepare your sandwich pretty quickly, and I've never had a bad meal here. The big draw, in my opinion, is that they have one of those new touch-screen soda machines, so you can create whatever concoction you want. They tend to run out of things but are pretty quick to change out the cartridges if you point it out. I've tried their specialty sandwiches and their basics and have never been disappointed. The tables, though, almost burn out your corneas--garish dalmation print everywhere. ETA: When I checked in on my phone, they were running a special--check in on Yelp, get a free drink. Not a bad deal.

Great food. They do warm the meat right when you order (in a steamer) and the veggies are fresh. I like the NYSteamer and Italian (good Italian flavor, and yes the mayo with dressing, it creates a creamy sweet Italian sauce). If you get the medium it's about 8/9in and just the sandwich (I never get the combo) is just over $6 so it's reasonable. The sandwich alone is flavorful and filling, maybe even 2 meals if you're not too hungry. Definitely better flavor and more food than a 6in subway sandwich for the same price. My only complaint was that the meat isn't as juicy as you'd expect from a steamer, and even with the Italian I order xtra sauce. Heads up though, they are making it as it's ordered--toasting bread, warming meat and putting it all together, so it may take longer than you'd like if you're in a hurry (mostly on weekends).

Great subs, good quality. Solid concept that is expanding like crazy nationwide. Personally I would take these subs any day over any other chain. Make sure you taste the Captain Sorenson's hot sauce, it is a highlight on any sandwich.

Terrible service..poor attitude from employee. The girl who took our order told the other employee "I hate when people take forever to order".. clearly acted like she didn't want to be there and didn't care.

Great subs for the price. It's got good food...the new soda machine was also pretty special too, although they were out of flavorings for lemonade. Next time I'm around restaurant row again and I wanted cheap eats I would come eat here. Better than all the other chains nearby imho.
