It's not a buffet, just a counter-style Chinese place with a couple of tables inside. They mostly serve takeout, which is what I got. We ordered a variety of things and they were all pretty good. The crab rangoon was really good, and the rest of the Chinese food staples were all as you'd expect. If you're looking for cheap, good Chinese takeout I recommend this place.

This place is incredible. Food is always fresh and flavorful, service and delivery quick. Highly recommend the Four Seasons and the Chicken with Garlic sauce. Egg rolls are great, too!

It's a clean place for sure, but the service is very minimal. My cashier was a young girl who looked more interested in her phone than my business. I remember smiling and apologizing for taking awhile to place an order, but she looked at me for a few seconds before turning away. I hoped the food would make up for the lack of personality in this restaurant. Sadly, the beef and broccoli lacked a depth of flavor and was overall bland and unimpressive. The orange chicken was a little better if you were looking to eat ridiculously sweet orange peel slices disguised as pieces of chicken. As for the egg roll - dry and inedible. One plus was the cashier's younger sister (I'm assuming). She handed us our food and had a nice bubbly personality.

The service here is fast and friendly. The place is very clean, the ingredients always taste fresh and it's not overly greasy like some Chinese restaurants are. Best Chinese food in town and the only place I'll eat. The owners are great and they'll make substitutions if you request. Everything I've had so far has been really delicious.

Very good food. The general tao chicken is delicious, the wonton soup is tasty, the crab rangoon is not only very good but also priced right...I could go on. The prices are good, the service is good...all is good! Try them. It's also worth mentioning that the staff are very nice and the store is clean. You can't ask for much more!

Fresh food. However we all thought it was a bit bland. The people working there are VERY friendly! Even gave us 2 free pops with our take out!

Their crab rangoon was good. But do not order from this place unless you like some soggy, thick battered meat (if you can find any). Come on. I hate to say this, but Panda express is so much better.

I was happy to see this place open up so close to where I live. I had yet to find Chinese food in Lafayette that wasn't disgusting. They have a large menu with good prices. They have lunch specials for $5. Definitely the best Chinese food in Lafayette.

This was the first Chinese place I found in Lafayette that I would recommend. Chicken and vegetables, Mongolian beef, and pork fried rice. All good. Staff was super nice. 10 min service time from order to service. I'll be back.

Their food is great. I got the shrimp with onion and curry....delicious! The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked, shrimp 1.5" in diameter; even the fortune cookies were fresh! Super friendly staff that really go above and beyond for their customers. Great food, great service, great price. Give these guys a try. You will NOT be disappointed.

Yum! Exactly what I was looking for. Fast, fresh, cooked to order! I played it safe and just got vegetable lo mein the first time, but I can't wait to go back and be more adventurous. It was piping hot and the veggies were fresh. Crunchy broccoli and sugar peas along with onions, mushrooms, baby corn, water chestnuts. The sauce was good too. And everything I could see was very clean!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
