I was not impressed with this restaurant. The tables and chairs were sticky from the previous person. The staff wasn't very helpful. And the food tasted very rubbery and overcooked. I immediately got a stomachache after eating here. I will not be back to this establishment.

The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food quality has really gone downhill from when my wife and I used to go there. Prices have went up also. My wife ordered the vegetable stir fry and was unhappy with the quality of the food. I had the soup and half sandwich cream of broccoli and ham and cheese which declared war on my lower g i tract later in the evening. My wife didn't feel the effects till this morning. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. We won't be back...

First of all, the photo shown here is NOT of the Waffle House in Kokomo. The Waffle House of Kokomo is not affiliated with the famous hashbrown place. This Waffle House is a homestyle restaurant not even remotely similar to the famous chain. This Waffle House is very generic, nothing special. This an old rundown establishment. Sticky tables, broken tables, and booths with the foam hanging out. The hubby had the french toast and it was very ordinary. Bread, butter and syrup. I had fish and chips which was obviously frozen (it was still ice cold in the middle) and those yucky generic crinkle fries. Save your money and hit the Cracker Barrel down the street

We had been here only one other time, and the service was very slow the first time there. The waitresses were friendly, but they also took a break at the next table to us and gossiped about everyone while sitting there. The food was ok, so we decided to go back today. I ordered swiss cheese on my meal instead of yellow as I do not like yellow cheese in any way shape or form, and I usually get a stomach ache, or end up sick if I eat it. My sandwich came with yellow cheese, so I sent it back. I also did not want mayonnaise on it. When the waitress brought it back out, I thought it was weird to have a ton of swiss on both sides of the meat. I ate 1/4 of the sandwich, and it had a very odd flavor. They had put mayonnaise on it, and to cover it up, they put extra swiss on it. The sandwich did have a weird not right taste to it so , I quit eating the sandwich, pulled the bread off the other half, and remnants of yellow cheese was stuck all over the meat. I was horrified. Yellow cheese and I do not get along and I was horrified this was done. If anyone was allergic to this, they would have been sued. I told the waitress that she needed to tell the cook this. The cook was the owner. I couldn't believe it and really didn't know what to say as of all people THE OWNER SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!. To me this shows blatant disregard for a customers well being, and also shows being downright cheap. We won't go there again. It's also not exactly the cleanest of places at some of the tables. Ours was clean both times , but some others had to have theirs cleaned. I'm glad all I have to deal with is an upset stomach the rest of the day, rather than an allergy that would have put me in the hospital. I hope no one allergic to something has this done to them.

A pretty standard place for breakfast food. I've had better elsewhere, but it definitely wasn't bad, either. The one time I was in there, there were definitely quite a few "regulars" coming back for more! The special (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage links, 2 bacon strips) provided me with a pretty sizable spread of breakfast food for a very low price. The sign says that they serve breakfast all day, which is a great feature!! The wait staff was also very friendly, caring, and efficient. If you need breakfast and happen to be by this place (especially if you want a CHEAP breakfast!), it's worth a trip.
