O’Reilly’s Irish Bar And Restaurant Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

By far the best place to watch a Pacers game in Indy outside of the Fieldhouse. O'Reilly's has a cozy neighborhood bar atmosphere with a special emphasis on big TVs and sports. The food is generally solid and any place with a Larry Bird #33 jersey on the wall is good in my book. They also have pool tables and good outdoor seating for people-watching.

Great to see a hawks bar in Indianapolis! This is a typical Irish bar, but service can be a bit slow towards the end of your meal. It took about 15 to 20 minutes after we asked for the check to get it. The food was just alright and they serve a limited amount of beers on tap. I still feel that it was a bit pricey for a drink because each pitcher was around $16 to $20 for craft beers when we were told that it would be 3 beers for the price of one. Then, the meal was a beef pie which was underwhelming in sauce but had a good, clean taste to it. As a recommendation for future go-er, I would say that the entertainment system is good, but it is probably only worth it for a generic beer or two.

Of all the places I' ve gone, this is one of the few that I have a great experience with on a consistent basis. Their Bloody Mary is the best in downtown Indianapolis. Monday night movie night is great, and luckily the owner has good taste in movies. The food is good too, had I only rated based on food I'd say 3.5 stars but as a bar and chill location, it attains its rating.

Came here during Final Four weekend for the first time ever. It was PACKED as you can probably imagine. We stood at the bar and drank, so I cannot speak as to the food here unfortunately. I did try a little of the dip that everyone was ordering and it was good. Like a buffalo chicken queso dip of some sort. In terms of beer selection, they have 8 taps of domestic stuff and a few Irish staples like Guinness and Strongbow. They also have about 30 or so bottle/can beer selections. The ambiance is more American bar than it is Irish Pub unfortunately which makes you believe that someone wanted to simply open a bar and then decided to give it a theme later. The prices, are probably the main reason it lost a star from 4 to 3. A draft beer was $8! Are you kidding? I know we are pretty much across the street from Lucas Oil, but give me a break, we aren't at the stadium. I was pretty unhappy that 3 rounds cost me $56 before tip. With all the places to drink in town that offer the exact same beers, why would one come here to pay nearly double the price? No thanks.

O'Reilly's, I'm so sorry I judged you. I've walked by hundreds of times thinking you were something other than what you are. What you are is a very cozy tavern. Some great local beers on tap and a very inviting atmosphere. We only tried the pepperoni bread sticks, which were just okay - we'll have to try more food to really have a feel for the foods offered. I will make that trip though. This seems like a great place to chat over drinks.

In search of comfort food - check. Steps from my location - check. I went with the shepherds pie. Pretty much what I expected. Beef, gravy, mashed potatoes, veggies and cheese. Standard fare, nothing special. It was pretty bland, but it met the lame requirements above. Service was super fast and friendly. I am close by and will probably grab lunch from time to time, but wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

Because of the combination of a Fever game, a Colts game and an Indians game, downtown dining was slim pickings. We stepped into O'Reilly's and were told that it was completely open seating. A novel concept. Sadly, all of the tables were already taken. Thankfully, they had a number of spots available at the bar and we never mind dining at the bar (you don't have to wait so long for your drinks :) ). We were greeted quickly by the bar tender and ordered up beverages. They run a continuous special on Pinnacle mixed drinks, so I had a couple vodka-sodas. The menu includes a number of traditional Irish dishes in addition to their take on some local favorites. We ordered the spicy cheese dip as an appetizer. It was okay. The chorizo really added to it, but at the end of the day, it was just cheap processed cheese. For dinner, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was amazing! It is breaded, tossed in buffalo sauce and served on a sweet roll with lettuce and tomato. Yum! I ordered steamed veggies as my side and it was a strange assortment of mostly zucchini and squash, not my favorites. However, the rest of the party greatly enjoyed their sides of fries. Overall, O'Reilly's will be on our list when we go downtown in the future.

Food was okay, but when I see fried pickles on a menu I think pickle chips . Instead, I received a basket of pickle spears that were dipped in batter. They weren't all the crispy, possibly because of the size/shape. Also, service was on the poor side. I'm not sure if they are always understaffed on a holiday (Memorial Day), but the bartender seemed to be taking care of everyone. He was swamped with less than 20 people in the place. Very nice guy, but took forever for him to greet us and ask for our order. Then when he delivered a pitcher of beer, he forgot to bring glasses to drink it. I'm going to blame understaffing for this one and give the place another chance.

This is a pretty nice bar close to Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It has a classy feel to it with all the dark woods and the absence of obnoxious advertisements or signage. The last time I was here before the NCAA Regional Final and it has been designated the de facto University of Michigan bar (not just for this event but for all U of M sports) so it was a little crazier than usual. However, when I have been here before, I recall that the scene is pretty laid back and there's a pool table and big leather couches to relax in.

Came here after all of the other restaurants had big lines and huge wait lists. Glad we did, Bangers and mash fish and chips and all of the other things you would expect from an Irish pub. TVs all over the place, and a good atmosphere. The food was really good and the staff was fast and courteous service. I this would be a great place if there was a game going on, but we were on an off night and the place was a little slow.

Stopped in for a few drinks to end my first night in Indy and had a lovely time at O'Reilly's. It's a little more well-lit than I prefer for a watering hole, but the drinks were solid and the bartender very friendly. (Sorry I took your lighter back to California. I'm the worst.) It seemed a place for people in the industry and I ended up with a few good tips for the rest of my stay. Not too many people at the bar that night, but everyone who was was very laid back and up for a chat. Bottom Line: If I'm ever in Indy again, O'Reillys will be my one of my first stops for a drink.

NOT FOR LUNCH! A group of my co-workers and I went to O'Reilly's for lunch and had just an all-around horrible experience. We had a group of 15 people. I acknowledge that large groups can be tough, but we were very patient. The waitress only got orders for half the table and then didn't return for a half hour to get the remaining orders. Food came out sporadically. So people were done with their food before some had received there's. I ordered a diet coke and a bison burger. My diet coke didn't arrive for a half hour (after others had their meals) and a second time requesting said drink. When it arrived it was only 75% full. I waited for over an hour for my burger and when it arrived the fries were cold, the burger was cold and the shredded lettuce on the burger was severely wilted. After another half hour, we received our bills. I was a waitress for seven years. I understand that things are tough and hectic during lunch. But a two hour lunch is just not excusable. With automatic 20% gratuity my lunch was almost $20. This experience was pretty consistent across the board for our table. People didn't receive the food they ordered, some people had to leave because they had to get back to meetings, and some didn't even receive there food at all and had to be boxed to go. With all of the Irish Bars in Indianapolis to choose from, I don't see any reason to return here.

O'Reilly's is an Irish bar that caters to the "industry" people who work in the area. We wouldn't have even known about it if not for our server at the restaurant we were at earlier suggesting it to us as a good, laid back place to grab a beer. The best way to describe it? A neighborhood bar located in downtown Indy. We walked up and while I wanted to sit outside on the patio- all the tables were taken so it was inside for us. Too bad as Indy has not yet gone "smoke free" so you have to deal with the smoke- although at O'Reillys, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. We didn't eat, but a quick glance at a menu showed a number of bar favorites as well as some new additions such as a spicy cheese dip named after someone's aunt, and some Irish specialties like bangors and mash, or Irish stew. With about 14 beers on tap and another 40 or so in the cooler behind the bar- chances are O'Reilly's has your favorite. Service was attentive and the industry folks who line this bar are looking to blow off a little steam so there is a lot of laughing and commiserating as they shared stories of the night. We wanted to play "bar darts" but while there are other games here to play- bar darts is not one of them. The decor is simple; wooden tables and chairs, plenty of TV's to watch any sporting event on, and during the Summer months- a sizable patio out front to sit and watch the world go by. Next time you are in the area- check out O'Reilly's. With it's laid back attitude- it's the perfect place to grab a beer and catch up with friends.

Kim was our bartender, she was great! Nice clean bar in downtown Indy! We stopped in on a day where it was $4.50 pints, good deal!

The GF and I were killing time before our dinner reservations and decided to check out O'Reilly's Irish Bar and Restaurant. O'Reilly's has a great location on Pennsylvania St and is just a short stumble away from Conseco Fieldhouse. Other than that, O'Reilly's is your average, everyday sports bar that's no more Irish than I am. The beer selection is decent with a very solid, reasonably priced selection of micros by the bottle and draft. However, the selection of Irish beers on tap is pretty weak. Service isn't bad. Like many bars in Indianapolis, they allow smoking (a big minus) but fortunately no one near us in the bar was smoking. O'Reilly's isn't a bad place, just a very average one that doesn't offer much to distinguish itself from other bar offerings in downtown Indy.

This place kind of blows. Ok, maybe that's a little too harsh. It is very mediocre. Menu items are reasonably priced (for downtown), but nothing too exciting, just like the draft beer selection. I got the tenderloin and have definitely had better. A positive was the 22oz Ranger IPA bottles for $4. Basically, if you're downtown and looking for a place to grab something to drink or eat and you're looking for something low-key, not crowded, and possibly a patio, then O'Reilly's is a good option. I would definitely stop in if I was going to a Pacers game and wanted to grab something before the game... and Scotty's was too packed.

Every time I go here I have the best time ever. EVER! Here are the two cons: 1. the bill has been incorrect on a few occasions when I've been with a group of 8 or more. People were getting other people's drinks on their tabs. In my mind, not a huge deal and definitely not a deal breaker. The other con (could be a plus for you, who knows?) is that when a big game is playing, the jukebox is off. That makes me sad as I'm all about the jukebox. Here's the pros! An awesome jukebox, that's good news. Cheap drinks and excellent infused vodkas such as green pepper, skittles, and whatever else they've got going on. A cigarette machine, that's convenient. Big Buck Safari! Big Buck Safari (their machine has safari and big buck hunter on it!) is the best arcade game of all time. I love playing it and when traveling to another city, I will go to the game's site and find the location of the nearest big buck safari/hunter so I can play on vacation. it's kind of a new tradition and i dig it. It's a really fun game I enjoy. The food is great, too. Irish nachos, stew, bangers n' mash, nobody I've been with has ever been anything but delighted by the food. The bar is divided up into two parts in a way. There's the actual bar and surrounding it are a bunch of tables. Closer to the other end, near the juke and big Buck, are a couple of overstuffed leather couches and arm chairs. We always set up shop there and hang out and drink for hours before going out for more adventures. O'reilly's is where I've made some of my happiest bar memories with family and friends and I always look forward to going there.

Great interior- feels very Irish(except it doesn't have a low ceiling and smell like spilled Guinness). Menu includes traditional dishes like Fish and Chips, and Guiness Stew. The waitress was particularly attentive. Overall, good solid food, nothing to rave about, but I'd surely order it again. Yeah it's worth going back to.

I was in O'Reilly's during the winter storm Ion. I was stranded for an extra day after a playoff game. The restaurants in my fancy hotel weren't even open so I was lucky enough to find O'Reilly's. Max and Robert were on duty and took very good care of all the Kansas City folks that showed up. They didn't stress out, they stayed upbeat and gave service with a smile. Robert poured me the most beautiful Guinness with the shamrock on top. The food was great, we had the meatloaf and sandwiches (I can't recall the specific name of the sandwiches). The beer selection was vast. I had some delicious local brews! I will definitely return to this bar the next time the Chiefs play the Colts!

I love A.O.'s and maybe someday I won't work at the Weber Grill anymore and I'll be able to go back. I can't go here too often because my managers are here almost every night. And unfortunately getting drunk and espousing one's service philosophy (however untrue) is a bad idea when speaking with one's general manager. So I just stay away for now, even though I love the place. The bartenders are cool as hell and they can make any drink under the sun and will even make up some bad-ass concoctions if that is what you fancy. The atmosphere is awesome and very cozy. You can catch any football game you want, and even some soccer and rugby matches if you're more into the Brit sports scene. Aside from that it's the only bar I know of where you can play Madden on Xbox 360 while knocking back a pint. Can't wait to go back.

I recommend the club wrap. The food is very fair priced and the service is great. Therese did a wonderful job serving us today. You can get either a $10 or $25 certificate at Restaurant.com .

This bar is totally average. Nothing great, nothing terrible. It is just pretty blah. On my most recent visit, our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was mediocre. I ordered bleu cheese crumbles on my burger and got approximately 4 crumbles. That was disappointing. If you like bud light and don't really care if the food knocks your socks off but just need calories this place works. I'm sure it probably gets pretty happening and fun late at night.

I got the portabella mushroom sandwich. It was served open faced with lettuce and tomato. The mushrooms were very slimy. It was pretty gross. But the sweet potato fries were good! Not the best vegetarian place in Indianapolis, but what did I expect.

Great reuben and guinness irish stew. Hmmmm Smithwicks or infused vodka? Hell, give me both!

Your standard Irish bar.....industry people flock here...which is a good sign because the place is good and/or cheap. This was one of the few bars we patronized and just drank and didn't eat. So it was really funny that this night was a night about smoking...everyone does it and it is everywhere. It was good place to start the evening....anyones evening.

Stopped in here for dinner before the Big Ten football championship. They had a very limited menu that night, which was pretty disappointing. I was jonesing for a Reuben but had to settle for grilled cheese. Service was quick and the food was passable. Beer was cheap. Not sure if I would go back or not.

$8 for a turkey sandwich and here's what you get : plain white bread, processed cheese and three shreds of some kind of "turkey" - no mayo, no lettuce, not toasted nothing. Literally just a plain jane sandwich. I'm also pretty sure the chips it came with were two different brands. Prison food must be better. Such a rip off. Very disappointed.

Very good bar food, but the drinks are too expensive. For some reason, nobody ever goes here except for before Pacer games. I feel awkward eating here because I'm always the only person in the joint...makes me feel self-conscious. They have several large TV's so you can watch whatever game you want.

My boyfriend and I went to Andrus O'Reilly's on election night - figured it would be a fun spot to watch the news coverage. I didn't realize before going that it was just up the street from our favorite recently re-elected Governor's election night headquarters. So, we were greeted by a table of about 15 green-clad supporters when we arrived. Regardless, we still enjoyed our night. I snagged a discounted gift certificate for Andrus O'Reilly's at Restaurant.com . The $25 certificate required a minimum food purchase of at least $35 and we figured it wouldn't be too hard to order $35 worth of food at a place downtown. We were wrong. Everything on their menu is priced under $10. Stacey, our server (who was AWESOME), advised us that we might want to come back and use the certificate when we had more people in our party. But, we were determined to make it work... so we ended up with loads of food! Aunt Trinky's Spicy Cheese Dip was our first, and best, appetizer. They described it, like so many other restaurant menus do, as tasting just like what the owner's aunt used to make. Typically, none of these menu items ever taste like they're homemade. This dip did. It was delicious and consisted of Velveeta, sausage and spicy tomatoes. Tasted just like an appetizer that I've had served on little slices of rye bread before, but they served it here with tortilla chips. Highly recommend this one! The buffalo chicken fingers were way too spicy for me, but I'm a wimp when it comes to hot sauce. If you like spicy, you might like it. We also had the veggie quesadilla and added chicken to it. It had big pieces of tomatoes, green peppers and onion in it. The green peppers and onions were sauteed before going into the quesadilla, so they tasted extra good. After drinking a couple of beers on top of all this, we were way too stuffed to eat the sandwiches we ordered, so we took them home. My steak sandwich wasn't too bad, but I expected it to be more like a thick ribeye, but it was thinly sliced like what you'll find on a Philly. Since I took it home and reheated it tonight for dinner, I can't really critique it too much more past that... not really fair to do that. Dan thought his next-day reheated BBQ burger was good. This is a great place to go for an affordable dinner downtown, or lunch. Stacey was a great server -- if you go in and she waits on you, you're in luck! I also liked the atmosphere - big leather couches to lounge on if you'd like, and rich wood everywhere else. It was a little smoky in there for my liking, especially if you are just going there to eat and not for a drink or two. Still, we will definitely return. It's just a hop, skip and jump up the street from Conseco Fieldhouse, and I think I will have to check it out after a Pacers game instead of The Pub.

If this place caters to industry folks, it's only because those folks know where to go for genuine food and beer. It's not fancy, but it's not supposed to be. If you want pretentious go over to Nicky Blaines (are they still open??). O'Reilly's is genuine. So, if you have any kind of stick up your ass, leave it at the door. If you don't want to deal with cigarette smoke and the occasional drunk asshole, I suggest...well, I'm not even sure why you're in a bar. The bartenders and servers do a good job. I'm in only occasionally and I'm remembered and welcomed warmly. It doesn't take long to become a regular, and it's worth it.

still have my credit card, so know it's a good night. laid back irish bar that is unique in the way it is laid out. has tons of tables in different "section" and an area with couches coffee table. the bar isn't huge, so it can be tough to get a drink, but that may just have been the times i've been. if you get a table, the waitresses are friendly and on top their game. enough tvs to watch the game, though you can expect soccer at times. aside from the crowd and square shape, feels similar to a midtown nyc irish bar. haven't ate here.

  • Indy W.

Decent drinks at a decent price, underwhelming food, occasional creepy bar patrons during the afternoon, but it's the unwholesome staff-fears-management kind of vibe that put me off the place overall.

I went here while there was a very large convention in town and a Colts game going later that night, so most of the places in the area were very crowded. I can't say if the experience is better when there's not so many people in town - though looking at the other reviews, it doesn't really seem like it. We had a reasonably large party and tried numerous dishes. No one was really excited about their dish. The "meh" description that Yelp provides is pretty much perfect. The fried stuff (which is most of the menu) wasn't really crispy and would have benefited from another minute or two in the fryer. My fried fish's batter wasn't *quite* still gooey, but it was close. Don't get the wings here. We got a spicy buffalo sauce, which was unremarkable. Again, the wings weren't very crispy. The other ones we got were supposedly Creole Black Pepper, which sounded great. What we actually got was a basket full of wings that were completely buried under marinara sauce. You might think that sounds like chicken parmesan, but it wasn't good at all. Service was slow. I wouldn't really hold it against them on such a busy weekend except that the place wasn't actually full.

This is one of my favorite bars in Indy. Hands down some of the best service you will get anywhere near downtown. I'm a little biased on this place due to my dedication to the Chicago Blackhawks. This is your go to bar for that environment, the same goes for the Ultimate Pacers bar since it is right down the street from Bankers Life Fieldhouse. I frequent this place after work sometimes and it just ends up feeling like home. The beer selection is always good and the bartenders ( Joel, Robert, Rebecca ) are always super friendly and knowledgeable. I prefer their local taps for the most part but I do grab the occasional domestic pitcher while I am there for the game. If they happen to have Zombie Dust I'll sit there until the tap runs dry. Love that they have it from time to time. I'm partial to their wings, chili, or the always delicious turner burger doused in hot sauce at my request. Haven't ventured too far from those choices but my friends have and they love it it. I hear great things about the Chicken Fingers. If im in a more than buzzed mood I grab some stuffed breadsticks off of their late night menu. These things are amazing and I have a friend who has to have them if we are there past 10 PM. I will definitely be frequenting this place more often!

Food fair. Meatloaf cooked a second time on flattop and a little overdone. Server forgot appetizer, likely because she didn't write anything down Companion ordered lamb burger and enjoyed it

Robert definitely does his job right!!! He is very sociable and knows how to sell a good pitcher (or two) correctly. Overall, when I was here at least there wasn't much happening. It was very calm compared to the bar next door. I wish they had darts or something to occupy our time (maybe I just didn't see them).

I used to visit this place prior to the smoking ban and I am really happy there is no smoking anymore!! That's just my opinion but I really go to bars more now because of it. Anywho~ I've gone here a couple of times recently for various reasons. One was to chill with my man and watch some basketball, another was to have dinner with a friend that was quick with cheap drinks. Should I mention the $3 Monday-Thursday?? OMG!! HEY-OH!!!! Sign me up. I love me some good brew and when it's cheap, heck yeah I'm in. The food is your typical bar food. I liked the aioli that came with the onion rings. I also have to say the Irish nachos were delicious on an empty stomach :) Definitely will come back for $3 and good service that I've had the past two times! Keep it up

Been here an hour. The place had three tables here when we arrived. Asked the bar tender, while ordering second pair of pitchers, to send over a waitress for food order (had been waiting half an hour) They continued to ignore us for fifteen minutes. Acted VERY put out when we stopped the waitress to ask her to take our table's order. :-/ All burgers at table over cooked and despite menu description- NOT hand pressed. Cheese sauce was passable. Beef stew the same. Service so bad the taste it left in my mouth ruined the rest of the food. Won't be back.

This is the sort of place that I shouldn't like, but I do. I'm not sure what it is. It's kind of your run of the mill sports bar, but then again they have a couple of crafts on draft most of the time. The other night I got a couple of pints of Sierra Nevada Torpedo for $4 each. That's not too shabby. Their food is obviously not all that fancy, but I like it. When you want some grease to soak up your beer you're set. My favorite is the fried buffalo tenders. I'm sure there is nothing healthful about them, but so what, I'm active, I can take it. Now that it's no longer smoking (by force) I will probably go more often.

Good atmosphere. Good waitress. Good value. Worst wings I've ever had... And the Irish nachos are weird. Don't expect good food.
