Back for breakfast two mornings in a row. As outstanding as the first night. All 4 in the party had great breakfasts both. The skillets, crepes, eggs Benedict and traditional breakfasts all get the big "thumbs up" and all at very reasonable prices again. When back in Indy, I'll be back !!!

I punched this place up after dropping my daughter off and took the wife out for breakfast, this is not the nicest area so I wasn't expecting a whole lot. Went inside place is old looking but everything is surprisingly clean, coffee was fresh and everything came out fast. I got the Portuguese omelet while the wife got the Greek, sides are hash browns pancakes fruit or toast, I also got an order of biscuits and gravy 50 cents difference between the whole and half (?) Everything was I have to say pretty decent, my fruit was fresh, omelet was cooked perfect, the Greek was better and the biscuits and gravy were from scratch. On the down side hash browns were not as crisp as I like, and the biscuits and gravy didn't have as much sausage as I would have liked to seen. Menu is stupid big, lots of food for the price, place was pretty steady on a Friday morning, service was fine, if I was in the neighborhood and wanted breakfast I would probably do this again. 3.5 stars.

I have wanted to try this place for a little while since I remember browsing their menu and seeing the fresh apple pancake. I decided to order the Farmers omelette (with gravy on the side) with hash-browns & regular pancakes. I had them also put in a small apple pancake as a 'dessert' since it takes so long to make and I just wanted to try it. The omelette was okay and didn't seem to have a lot of flavor even with the gravy. The regular pancakes were pretty good, but had a lot of butter on them which I didn't like. The portions were huge so there was plenty for the price. The apple pancake was also okay, not as good as I was expecting it to be. It didn't have a lot of flavor which was a bit of a bummer since I love apples and cinnamon. It was huge though so between that and the omelette I felt like i have extra food for at least 2 days. Overall, the place was okay. I doubt I would ever come here again. The prices are low and the portions are huge, but the food just wasn't good enough for me. There was nothing that I could actually say that I want to eat again and nothing that I had I could say was bad. It was all very meh. I've been to more 'divey' places with a lot better food, so this one disappointed me a bit.

This place is terrible. I think the previous YELPERS, must know the owners or something. I came here when this place opened and just figured they didn't have their act together yet, so I didn't review at that time. After reading some good reviews, I decided to try them for lunch again, since I just work a few blocks away. The menu is rediculous, at least 100 options, any ways and add on's it's crazy. I settled on a simple Julianne Salad. The waitress never smiled, didn't say hello, just brought my salad. It was large, and had thinly sliced lunch meat, but the lettuce ! " AHHH THE LETTUCE " they must have run the lettuce underwater before they brought it too me. The salad was sitting in a pool of water. I kind of picked some of the meat off the top, and had a cracker. Paid for my $9.00 sad salad and left. I WILL " NOT " be back ! The first time we went here, I had buscuits and gravy. The gravy was prepackaged glop and the buscuits were the same. I even told the waitress they were terrible, she said she would let the kitchen know, but wouldn't take them off our tab.

They closed an hour early as I was walking up. I didn't get to eat there Imagine it was due to no customers since parking lot was empty. Shame since it looked like a descent diner

Great food. Great service. Quesadilla, eggs Benedict, roast beef sandwich, omelettes, and pasta were all amazing and worth the trek. Don't let the location fool you.

This place is solid. probably 3.5 stars It's not fancy but the waitresses are hard working and very nice and I had the chicken crepes which was original and super cheesy. while eating, a group of five men that looked like santa claus came in and had dinner. Come to find out they were a santa costuming group that get together and shoot the breeze. That added a star for me.

What an unlikely place to find culinary perfection. The memory of the bumpy parking lot where I had to turn around that almost took the underbody off of my car is still fresh, but a cup of Chicken Florentine healed that and many other small emotional wounds... Creamy without a hint of a clot. Smooth, perfect amount of salt. Fresh spinach that looks like it was only allowed to just wilt. Noodles at the perfect degree of firmness. The Blintzes with apples, just like the soup, contained nothing that I could identify that was not just made from scratch, including simmered cinnamon apple slices and cottage cheese filling and, of course, the crepes. The hard part of any cooking, especially commercially, is not to overdo the salty, the sweet and the obvious flavors. Mother's Table, you succeeded and got a loyal customer today. Looking forward to trying six pages of omelets, pancakes, crepes, sandwiches and salads.

Great little diner. Service was quick and attentive but not intrusive, if a little unpolished. Food was hot, delicious and fresh ingredients were apparent. The skillet I had was amazing. Wifi and comfortable booths made for a pleasant, unhurried experience. I will be back! One single negative.... It's tough to get into the parking lot from anywhere but northbound High School Rd. The owners would do well to strike a deal with some neighbors to find a way to get another entrance added.

Our first time visiting. They had a HUGE menu (which is why we reduced rating by one star). The food was decent and fresh. Place was clean and quiet. Service was friendly. We will be coming back and trying to find "our favorite."

I would say average place. Food was nothing special but there are tons of options. The waitress we had barely said anything to us. Even after getting order incorrect never offered to fix it. Probably a good thing it wasn't fixed we would of ended up with more food. Pancakes and waffle was over powering vanilla. If you enjoy vanilla then I would recommend them. My omelet was good and large. This is a older placer so seats are so so. Maybe if we have a different waitress it would have improved the experience enough to go back. As of now I'll pass.

I ordered the Monterey Jack Omelette w/ pancakes. I thought it tasted fine - Good but not quite worth a rave. I would have rated the food three stars but gave a four star rating because the servers were on point with service and we liked the coffee. My daughter ordered the Irish omelette and thought it was bland but easily corrected with a little salt and pepper. I'm willing and tempted to return just to try the Fried Rice Omelette.

So we went here for Breakfast this morning Friday May 16th. Wasnt sure what to expect here, we tried to eat here a couple weeks ago and they were not open even though the sign on the door said they were, not sure if that was a rare thing or something that happens often. But today they were open. I ordered a burger which came with the steak fries. Both were good, the burger is not a frozen patty so props for that. I cant remember the name of the burger but it was the biggest one they had and I could not get my mouth around it so i had to cut it up and eat it but it was still pretty good. Coke products. Blah!! The other person in my party had a grilled chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. They have a pretty large menu, with several different food types so something for everyone. I will say that the veggies on my burger were some of the freshest I have gotten in a long time. You could tell they hand shred the lettuce which I personally prefer. Its the little things in life that impress me. I would go back here again. The waitress spoke very little English so that was a barrier for me but we got through it.

We have eaten here several times, I have tried several of the breakfast items (all of which were great) and yesterday we tried the turkey Panini and the Reuben sandwich, both were fantastic!!! This is a great little place off the beaten path, but well worth a try! The staff is great and very attentive, the restaurant is clean and the menu has many wonderful selections. I love this place

Best strawberry crepes I've ever had! The strawberry filling was purrrrrfect - exactly the correct level of sweetness. Topped with both powdered sugar and whipped cream... I had my entree and dessert all in one serving. I also ordered a side of sausage links and they were good - not burnt or shriveled like little old man fingers! :-) The inside of the restaurant was clean but reminds me of an old diner from the 80's. They have an extensive menu. Something for everyone.

Great menu, done well. And service is excellent! Not fancy but great place to have breakfast if you're near the airport.

Friendly waitstaff, good food, ample choices for all tastes, including vegetarians and reasonably priced. Good lunch spot. Give it a try if you're in the neighborhood!

While this place doesn't look like much from the outside, the food will blow you away. I'll admit I was dubious when I arrived, but I decided to give it a chance, and boy was I rewarded. The pancakes are just crisp enough on the outside while remaining light and fluffy on the inside. Everything else was cooked to perfection and portion sizes were just right as well. Service was a little slow which is the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review.

Vegetarian omelette. Yummy! Fluffy and light, not greasy with fresh spinach, onions, green peppers, & fresh mushrooms. Kids enjoyed their waffle & ginger boy pancake. It was a hit! Will definitely stop back.

Fantastic food at a great price. We had the Mexican skillet and the tropical french toast. The skillet was perfectly spicy and more than enough to share when you consider the pancakes it comes with. The tropical french toast was reminiscent of bananas foster. Delicious, fast, and not overly crowded. Worth the drive!

Food was great and service excellent. A hidden gem, especially given the location. Servings are generous and waitstaff attentive. This is my favorite alternative to fast food, a huge menu, fresh salads in a pleasant atmosphere. Going back to work our way through the salad section of the menu for sure. Seafood salads! Stuffed avocados! What could be better?

This restaurant used to be about three other places, and now it is Mothers Table. Needless to say, we were hesitant to give this version a try. The menu is completely different, new owners, etc., and the staff was super nice and checked on us multiple times (although it wasn't busy at the time). We went at the brunch time on a Sunday, and so we opted for breakfast. They have frittatas, which I'm not sure how true to being a frittata they are, but hashbrowns in an omelette are delicious. The sausage gravy was great! I want to go back and order a big old plate of biscuits and gravy now just to have more of the gravy. The frittata was good and hot, and the hashbrowns were cooked well, so I was happy. The pancakes, ohh these were so fluffy and sweet! They didn't have that unappetizing crusty edge from a greasy griddle. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering a stack. Overall, the prices are reasonable and you get tons of food. A nice place that I will return to!

At 6 AM we were desperately searching for a place to grab a bite before hopping on the on the plane at Indianapolis back to California. Literally stumbled across Mother's Table. It's only 12 days old so it didn't show up in any search. This place has traditional diner food and a full menu. Great coffee. Superclean and friendly service. Perfect.

If you're looking for something breakfasty near the airport and not a chain, you'll find it here. Fluffy pancakes. Enjoyed the frittata. New owners a few months ago, they told me. I had a friendly and fun server who had been around a while.

We like to try local establishments when we travel and this place did not disappoint! We stopped here for breakfast on out way to the airport (which is a only a few miles away). Great cup of coffee! The pancakes were perfect and the sausage gravy on fresh biscuit was great. The waitresses exude Hoosier Hospitality! Give this place a try next time you are in the area.

Great food & a large eclectic menu. The staff is great. Their "Bennys" are amazing. They have a TRIPLE DECKER BLT and they have those chunky steak fries! The desserts in the case look wonderful but we have never even come to saving room! Not much to the ambience but the food, great service and prices make up for it.

Four of us ventured to Mother's Table, and our feelings are definitely mixed. Two of my buddies ordered different cheeseburger variations, one ordered meatloaf, and I ordered the gyro. The cheeseburgers were excellent. Both of them were thick, had fresh toppings, were juicy and tasty. The fries were also done well, although the portions were small. Both of my compadres wanted chipotle mayo, but both of them had to ask for more because the tiny drizzle that was placed on the burger was not nearly enough. My friend that ordered the meatloaf said it was good, but I can't ever remember him saying he didn't like a meal. His review of food has resulted in me being burned before, so take his opinion with a grain of salt. The gyro had a decent pita, fresh onions, and good tzatziki sauce. The meat, however, was prepackaged strips that were frozen. Pretty much tasteless. Now to the service. Our waitress acted severely depressed, didn't know the menu when asked questions, was slower than a turtle, and was generally unpleasant. We arrived at 11:20 and didn't leave until 12:50. Most of that time was spent waiting for food, then waiting for the check. Will I ever go back? Yes and no. I will never eat in again, but I will probably order a burger to go.

Went to Mothers Table with a group of coworkers for lunch and was quite unimpressed. If you're looking for a variety of cultural food in one place, the menu has close to 100 different options, I can only imagine what the food prep looks like for a diner style restaurant. The restaurant itself did not seem very clean. Even for a diner I was surprised that my omelet was more of a scramble with American cheese and my coworkers scrambled eggs had egg shells in them. And to top off the order we found a hair in the pancakes.

It's a dive. No doubt about it. If you want Flo to wait on you, you get it here. But the quality of food is quite surprising. It is really delicious. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. So don't go there for the ambiance, cause there is none... go there for the food, cause it is plentiful and delish.

We are stuffed!! Food had nice presentation and tasted fantastic! Price was very reasonable for the amount of food which was served!! We would definitely come here again!! We are from Central Illinois and love to try out new restaurants! This is by far an awesome one!! If you haven't tried it yet, U MUST! My mom and I shared breakfast and lunch meals for dinner; my daughter ate two eclair waffles only $3.75, my mom and I shared an order of 2-eclair waffles $3.95, and also shared Cream Cheese Blentzers with Cherries $7.95 and shared Chicken Salad Croissant $7.95 , which came with a side salad with the BEST homemade Bacon Salad dressing, fresh fruit and cottage cheese; and my niece had a Vanilla Sunday for $3.50, which was piled high with several scoops of ice cream topped with tons of whipped cream, chocolate, and three cherries. You REALLY get a lot of BANG! for your buck!!

Eat here. No kidding. For an old diner that seems run down a bit, it is well cared for, clean and the food is very good. My husband loves the fried mush. I appreciate a cook who does not kill eggs and omelettes, but cooks everything properly and using good ingredients. It has become a regular stop on our way thru Indy

I must say, for me this place did not love up to the hype. After reading the many rave reviews, I came here on a lunch break with two coworkers and met my wife and daughter. We ordered, collectively, two triple deckers (the blt, the club blt), the roast beef melt, and my wife ordered a breakfast scramble. I was told the club blt was light on the turkey, and the regular blt was light on bacon, although the tomatoes and lettuce tasted super fresh and juicy. The roast beef melt was decent- I did try the chicken florentine soup, and thought it was very very good. Came out the perfect temperature, tasted delightful (although maybe too creamy for others liking, I loooooved it). The quantities were insane. Very large amounts, for a decent price. Service was excellent also, and the food came out very quickly. Overall, the quality of the food was a letdown for me, but they could have been having an off day, or we might have ordered the wrong dishes. I don't think I would return (my coworkers were very unimpressed) but I wouldn't say my experience was bad enough that others shouldn't give it a try. Just maybe avoid those dishes? I would give this place three and a half stars if I could, but I'm rounding up since I cannot.

As always, the menu offerings are almost overwhelming. Cuisine from all corners of the globe in several categories. Today, I opted for the Philly Chicken Sandwich (minus the bun), which was accompanied by my choice of a side salad and steak fries. Although my chicken was a bit more greasy than I would have preferred (attributed to the sautéed mushrooms, peppers & onions), the flavors were wonderful.
