Great little spot if your in the mood for greasy fast food. They have breaded tenderloins buy one get one free. Their prices are very affordable and they are always adding new items to their menu.

I finally got the courage to stop and I hope you do too. Do not let the appearance keep you from eating here. I pulled in and then I realized that it was a eat in you car drive in, which is no big deal. The big menu is on the front of the building easy to read. I ordered the double cheeseburger, large fry, and a large drink for $5.50. It's very reasonable and the food is very good, this double cheese burger is as good as it gets. I can't wait to go back and try some different foods

Are you in the mood for a gloriously unhealthy, greasy, and delicious lunch imaginable? Then you're in luck because Mel's is 100% for you. Are your vegetables too healthy? Good, they've fried them for you! Do you not have enough meat on your burger? That's OK you can have a triple burger! Too lazy to get out of your car to get your lunch? They'll deliver it to your window! Talk about my favorite guilty pleasure on the southwest side. For less than $5 you can have an amazing lunch that will blow you away. The outdoor seating is a really nice picnic feel. I do however recommend running a lot afterwards to counteract the glorious calories.

Old school drive in Good old burgers and fries family friendly Really friendly people quick service and super affordable I give it 4 stars just because They need to upgrade and clean the outside a little harder But other than that the food is really good and tasty

I like local places. I like local places with character. I like local places with good food. Bingo!!! A small, unassuming drive in where they take your order at the car! I almost passed it as there's not much in this neighborhood. Good drive in food! Nothing fancy, not eclectic, not gourmet, just good old fashioned drive in food!!! The cheese burger was really good as were the onion rings!!! If your a first-timer like me, get out of the car and go read the menu. Cheap, cheap, cheap! I would recommend to anyone and will be back next time I'm in Indy!!!

If you want a good burger you would have come to the right place. "Good burgers" are hard to find. Here is where you can get some.

Great food! Cooked fresh to order. The double cheeseburger was scrumptious. It tasted like a homemade burger. I will be sure to try the cauliflower next time.
