$1.01 in change was all I had to my name today. My wallet was at home. I forgot it... in the 1940's I could have bought food for myself and ten friends, but not in this day and time, but thank goodness for Jimmy Johns. They sell day old bread (dob) for 49 cents. forty nine cents. Their bread is the perfect base for a homemade pizza, garlic bread, croutons. You name it dob is perfect for it. Thank you Jimmy Johns for stretching the value of my dollar.

I've ordered for delivery from this Jimmy John's many times. While the delivery is almost always fast and the sandwiches decent, I had a rather unusual experience this evening that leaves me wondering what's up with this store. I placed an online order for delivery and indicated I would be paying cash. A short time later I receive a phone call stating that it's after shift change and they no longer accept cash.... Um, what?? No, I don't give my CC number to people that call me, sorry. Just cancel that order. I really don't understand the concept of any restaurant, particularly a fast food delivery place refusing a cash sale. But, ok, whatever. Time to rethink if jimmy johns sandwhiches are really good enough to mess with ordering in the future.
