Fazoli's food is always amazing but the staff here went above and beyond to make sure the experience was perfect!

Ok, so I try to be honest as much as possible. Even when it hurts. So to be honest this restaurant surprises me. It use to be affordable and a good choice for a "cheaper" dinner alternative. Now it costs $30+ to feed a family of four. And that includes 2 kids meals. The food is good but not that good. And at this particular location on this particular night the bathrooms were filthy and stunk so bad. I mean like really really bad. I dunno what is going on with America and the prices shooting through the roof but it makes me want to buy land and be a farmer for the rest of forever!!

I've been a longtime fan of Fazoli's, but haven't frequented the place as much since the Keystone location nearest my home was closed. However, as I drove around Castleton tonight I finally settled on this Fazoli's as I was in the mood for pizza but really didn't want to overeat. So, I stopped in for a double slice of pepperoni, a medium drink, and the usual free breadsticks. One of the reasons that I'm not more frequent at the Castleton location has to do with their non-wheelchair friendly parking situation. While they have two parking spots designated as accessible, they are not ADA compliant and, even weirder, they happen to sit on a slant with one being right next to a large advertising pole. So, on days that I'm not feeling as strong as usual I avoid this place because it can be a pain. The Fazoli's crew was, for the most part, friendly as usual with the manager heading for the door to open it for me as he saw me coming in. While that's helpful, I also appreciated that he didn't race to open the door as I was able to get in on my own just fine. I also just plain preferred the Keystone location in terms of customer service. While the Castleton location is friendly, it has always seemed a lot less personable. There were a couple examples of customer service issues tonight - 1) One of the employees bringing out my food placed it on the table and realized that I would have to move a chair to sit there. She asked "Would you like me to move it?" I said "Sure." She proceeded to move it about 6" to the side, which did absolutely nothing to get the chair out of the way, and 2) If you ask me if I'd like more breadsticks, then I expect you to actually deliver said breadsticks. That's how it actually works. Fortunately, the second person who offered actually did follow-through. Having been eating at various food trucks lately, I've become a bit spoiled in terms of slice size and couldn't help but be a tad disappointed with paying $6.50 for what amounted to slices that looked like something from a pizza box. While I wouldn't quite call them "bad," they were disappointing. Fortunately, the breadsticks were good and Fazoli's does carry my favorite Gold Peak Iced Tea. On a good day, Fazoli's could probably get up to a 4-star rating from me but when things go wrong they're pretty much in the 3-star range. For fast food, Fazoli's remains one of the better options but they can really be a stand-out by nailing the customer service just a bit more consistently.

I looked up the specialty menu that they had posted for this particular location, and they were sold out of all of them. It took a long time to receive the order. My 2 meals came to $19 and I didn't even get any drinks! I think next time I'll just pay $5 more and eat at Olive Garden!

Great food, manager and staff were extremely friendly. Salad was pulled from a refrigerator after sitting there for who knows how long, but tasted fine. Will return.

Food was great, I recommend the Caesar salad great environment. Easy to locate. But it did seem like the manager was the only one that I could see that was in a good mood. I would come back.

    1. This place is fast food, and we all know it. 2. But they have the BEST free, hot, fresh, fluffy, garlicky, bread sticks. The service is the same line as McDonald's. Go in with that expectation, and you'll be fine. The new baked pasta I tried did not sit too well, and tasted a little "weird", but I couldn't put my finger on it. TIP: go in to get unlimited refills on tea, unlimited bread sticks, and stick to a small entree.

I love their chicken parm. It's so delicious. I also like to get their club italiano a lot.. Those are my favorites, so I get them most of the time. The bread sticks are very good. Never had an issue with service and generally they're pretty good about going around and offering more bread sticks.

As fast food goes, Fazolis is one of the best, tasting more like home cooked pasta than fried fast food. Some meals are healthier than most fast food meals, including salad as a side option. Unlimited breadsticks are included with all orders, and pretty good. This location is usually packed. I prefer the 86th and Ditch location as a result.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
